Well this coins are already at pick and for some new investors, it is quiet expensive. I would buy Ethos and electronium as they are also a promising. Ethos increased to 10 dollars and i had a good profit. The problem for some new traders, is that they just go with the flow and are just alerted when the price of these most famous coins are increasing. It maybe hard to trust our guts but that is how we learn.

I would pick ripple stellar eth xpr and ltc but also the top 10 can make you profit. Anyways you dont need the top 5z as i told y the top 10 would make you aome profit also so..

I have almost the same favorit altcoin like yours above because i always prefer top marketcap altcoins.
I have etherium, waves, ripple, monero and litecoin. And also bitcoin for sure.

January will be great month for monaco. AFAIK Visa freeze ends this week and there are good to start shipping cards. Furthermore they don't have any competition for now as other cards has been cancelled. Can't imagine better time to launch

Whatever our the top 5 picks, the point is we must still continue to observe the price developments actively and more deepen in the efforts we make in trading / investment.
For now and so on, it looks like the price changes will be more volatile on the rises and falls of coin prices.
Right now, I haven't to picks the top 5 coins yet, I only just holding some coins., Ltc, Eth, and Btc.

On my list it would be
1. VIB (Viberate) - It already grew from .33$ to .66$ in just a month.
2. XRP (Ripple) - For the last few months the value was doubled.
3. ETH (Ethereum) - The value gets keep getting higher and higher and no signs of slowing down.
4. BTC (Bitcoin) - From 13,000$ in the start of january the value of bitcoin is getting higher again as of today its around 16,000-17,000 $
5. ADA (Cardano) - From .60$ in the start of january to 1$ as of today

it's probably late for talking about January, but I think the OPUS project should be jerked, also I think that NEO should cost much more than 100 dollars, because soon as I know China to cancel the ban on crypto currency, therefore I believe that NEO will soon fly.
