There is obviously a very big difference between a celebrity and an influencer, not every casino or gambling platform can afford to become partners with celebrities whether they are from sports industry or film industry or music industry, because a partnership with one of these celebrities would cost the casino way higher than having multiple influencers promote their services but the impact of all of them combined won't be enough to compete with one of the celebrity's.

Even among influencers, those who have a lot of followers and people watch them very often and they have a lot of views and interactions on their videos and live streams tend to charge more money for promotions than those influencers who are relatively new and has less followers or even if they have many followers but they don't get enough views and interactions.
Also, not many celebrities want to work with casinos because they think about the reputation it has built. And also, they don't want to see their fans playing gambling and getting addicted. But if it's an influencer, the casino can offer them cooperation, especially if the influencer has a lot of fans and often gambles. This will make it easier for the casino to offer the influencer to accept it.

But the casino also doesn't offer cooperation to just any influencer and only chooses influencers with a lot of followers so that lots of people will see videos from that influencer. And usually, if the casino has found the influencer they are looking for, the cooperation offer will last a long time because each casino and the influencer can both benefit.
Yeah right, I rarely see them go for gambling promotion, that's because maybe they think about reputation like you said. But apart from all that, of course I see more of them (influencers) who are more active on social media and more interactive with their fans. I actually don't want to differentiate between celebrities and influencers, but there is a slight difference between them.
They (what we call influencers) are interactive with their fans which is a distinct advantage, because someone who follows them on social media will feel closer and after that they will definitely want to try something that influencer does.

I want to ask this question for a while now and I think this is a good opportunity, are gambling influencers real gamblers? Or they are just doing their influencing job to attract many people into gambling? Because I find it very hard to believe that all gambling influencers are into gambling, many of them don't even want anything to do with gambling, but as a influencer for different types of casinos, they will make a lot of money from those casinos, way more than being a crypto influencer.

They may be gamblers themselves and some may not even have interest in gambling but good at making promotional materials offers for industries and organizations, that's why they were called influencers, they have the very quality and package of getting people's attention on something and not only that, they also have a persuasive talent of convincing others to do something, but what is common with them is that they are mostly paid to engage such services.

Influencers do not need to specialize in the field that they need to promote however they need to have an audience who have interest in the field which the influencer speaks about.

So those influencers who regularly make the content on gambling, if the gambling site approaches them , they could be more beneficial for them. Also the more the influencers have the audience and the followers , the more they will charge for the promotion.

Just as someone earlier said that a gambling influencer can be a gambler or not, but the most important thing here is that he/she must have knowledge about gambling before he could be called a gambling influencer, if not he is just an ordinary influencer promoting gambling related stuff, which for example we have seen the likes of Drake promoting "Stake" casino and "Snoog Dogg" promoting Roobet casino, of which though these guys are popularly known for music, but yet they promote gambling casinos.

Gambling influencers have good knowledge about gambling and they do listen to news and update there followers as fast as possible even people other people get the information. Since they are celebrities, they needed always carry there felowers along about the latest news and how to be a better gambler and a profitable gambler. There job might look easy but it's not, sometime, they give predictions to followers to that they can always have more followers and people that will be waiting to use there link for register on there preferable gambling platform.
As for Drake and Snoop, I believe that these musicians are gamblers from their youthful age based on the street life that they lived. If you are brought up in such hood where they grow up,you must gamble because they do it for fun and not for profit. It is true that some influencers font gamble but they understand what gambling is and maybe some of them are retired gamblers who quitted due to some personal reasons. But for them to bet on the casino that they are showcasing, I doubt  that they do. Influencers are only after their pay and don't think of the followers,if they are misleading them or not. Followers who get carried away by these influencers are the victims to the products

You've answered the question yourself already mate, most of the gambling influencers, don't even know their way around gambling, they only put out what's needed with the help of the casino and this is why it's expedient you get to make your own research before using a gambling platform, if you trust everything that's put out to be white, it's at your own peril

Wrong. As @o48o mentioned, there is no difference between celebrities and influencers since influencers are small-scale celebrities basically. This is why they charge way lower when compared to top tier celebrities.

I do agree with your statement about a single top-tier celebrity's influence being greater than the combined impact of multiple influencers.

I don't see so much difference with them. Some influencers are small celebrities or big celebrities and some high ranked celebrities do influence with everything they do no matter if they wanted to influence or not. Just what they are wearing is a statement of trend to some people.

I see people calling themselves influencers just as low status celebrities, but i do underestimate them often. As internet celebrities/influencers aren't working on traditional media, they often get overlooked even though they could have more followers then traditional hollywood or sports celebrities.

Never heard of any of these streamers though I am only active on Instagram to be fair. Crypto gambling sites usually stand to benefit a lot more from more popular celebrities like Drake, Snoop etc when compared to these streamers.

However, smaller sites end up relying on these streamers due to budget constraints which is a risky gamble overall.

Anywhere you got this information is a bad source. Influencers don't care about you, they only care about how much they can make in commission or direct payment from influencing you to make us of the product they're promoting. Influencers only cares about how their sales are doing.

Influencers doesn't necessary means they've to understand what they're marketing. There are just like those use for those commercials that you see on your screen, they try to sell you something and you buy just because of how they make you feel that's what influencing is all about.

Only a very few influencer actually make use for the product they're advertising and those are usually critics  because they have to give you reasons why that product or service is awful to be used. And for the critics to get more audience they have to be truthful or they'll be exposed as fraud.

     -   Maybe not all of those influencers' followers follow them on the gambling advertisements they promote on the social media platform. Because we know that most of their followers only support them with the content they make on any social media platform like Instagram or Twitter.

And if anyone follows them, these followers are also gamblers for sure. But in fairness to these influencers, the number of their followers is actually staggering.
Or maybe these influencer followers just want to know how to get people to join to earn commissions. There are many reasons for these influencer followers to follow them on their social media and it's true, not all of them are gambling because maybe they want to make friends and support each other in creating content. And the number of their followers can indeed be very large and this is what we have to find out how they can have that many followers. Maybe if we can have it, we can spread something useful to them.

Those influencer can earn thru views and also they can earn on referrals so don't get surprise for those influencer to be more eager to make their community big because this is how they earn. I also forgot that they can earn by donations so expect that they always share good things and avoid posting negatives since it can ruin their career or maybe their other recruits will doubt on them because they became suspicious on their intentions.
I guess that's the influencer's dilemma. If you want to earn, you need to grow your community and also propose good products that make sense. If you start promoting crap, people unfollow. I think that is precisely what people are looking for, someone who has an stake on actually being right in their appraisals.

Well what can you expect to them? They are just trying to earn money so expect that if we see them always pointing out a one casino to play and always show good results with them. Then we already know that they are not there to help there community but rather they exist to entertain and trying to accumulate more sponsors or donators in their streams. But still if we just don't look up with the hype we can still learn from them and that is one we should look after with multiple influencers we possibly watch.
Well, for me, from the early days of me starting to gamble, I've never given attention to streamers, though like you said, alot can still be leant from them but still on still, their major purpose is to sell a product, and what product are they selling you might want to ask, the casino of course, they are paid to do whatever they do, even when we watch them gamble live and lose the money, believe me, those monies they loose are theirs but that of the casino they are promoting, so it is just what it is, and not like it's a bad thing what they do, but just that, many a times, this people lead a lot of gamblers astray without even looking back, cus all they really care for is to get paid.

Not all streamers or promoters are gamblers anyway therefore, it shouldn't be surprising to know that many of them are just after the money, as their reason to do so.But eitherway, it is not always on a bad side. They are still a help to some gamblers who are building interest with a particular gambling site. These streamers would give them initial thought whether to continue their engagement or to look for other options. There's no rule in the first place that streamers should be players of the thing they are promoting. It is just that such feature of them could help them to be more knowledgeable of the things they are trying to offer to their audiences.

Even if people follow influencers for other reasons, they tend to use the products and services they promote because followers trust them. I think that's the essence of influencer marketing. Influencers influence people's choices, and brands that are promoted by influencers benefit from this influence. That's why we can see various advertisements from clothing stores to gambling from an influencer who creates, for example lifestyle content
Most of them do have that quality and that is the reason why get they famous in the first place, they have the ability convince people to use a product, or they have the charm to get people engaged and those who start liking them will like the products and services they promote so they use them because they feel proud in using products and services used by their favorite influencers while influencers don't actually use them but only take money and promote them.

However, that works for the brands and for the influencers as well, it is just the fans and followers who get fooled and they simply start using a product or a service without even knowing much about it and sometimes they turn out to not be worth it but most influencers don't really care about that.

I rarely seen gambling contents from Tiktok, do you think that that platform will be led the company towards a positive marketing result?
Personally, I think that it would be better to have list of YouTubers, Facebook, Twitch, and other streaming platforms like Kick.
You're doing all of these compilations for free?
I published a post dedicated to Twitch, where you can find 40 accounts closer to gambling

The best influencer for me are those reviewers because they can tell the whole story and they are knowledgeable about casinos and games, compared to Instagram and Tiktok which only posted clips, short videos, and images these influencers are not what you called experts in the field of the gambling industry, they are making money promoting platforms that pay them to post, I am not a follower of any of these gambling Tiktokers they are for entertainment purposes only not serious reviewers.

The same happens with cryptocurrencies in general: the information you can get from most "influencers" will never be enough to make informed decisions, because it will be partial and biased. And that's why I find this forum a blessing, because you can see here the whole story, as you said, not only in the case of Bitcoin which is the main topic here, but in the case of gambling also. Because, while some shitposters will keep spamming here, like everywhere else, many veteran members wouldn't even consider giving a dishonest opinion.
