Damn, half the people on that chart have only been here for a few months.

To be fair it is quite saddening that the top 2 boards are indeed Altcoin related. It shows how many shitcoins have come to bitcointalk to clutter the forum with their annoying announcements and IPOs before running off with people's money or pumping and dumping.
True. But there's no really stopping them. Bitcoin is, in most parts, the main focus. It's just because the Altcoin threads themselves derive more attention because of the development (creation of forums/faucets surrounding new alt coin) and "get-rich-quick" chance of them.

I wouldn't be too proud. To be on the list you need to have no real life and be willing to troll every thread you click on. By troll I mean answer in some way whether you have something useful to add or not. Not really a great accomplishment unless you are a confessed troll and like it. Never mind - you actually fit because you like trolling, carry on.

man, i thought i was hardcore.. but i can't possibly keep up with the playas in those graphs. still, 2500 posts since november makes myself quite the whore.
From a few searches I've done it doesn't appear to be the case, but it *is* probably safe to say they are using bots for coin-trading based on BTCtalk sentiment. One of them specifically seems to be an altcoin pumper/dumper. Maybe he was monitoring altcoin thread activity to determine which ones to invest in.
Don't think so. And also don't think it's the top two "lifeless users" real online time. They probably run some forum-bot/script/macro that keeps them online/generate these "total time logged in".
It's very telling that the top two boards are about altcoins. The top two "lifeless users" are probably govt agency workers paid to review the information daily.

I think that he might have gotten it from a thread (in the off-topic section I believe). Never mind, poster under me found it (new to me as well).
