just another version of a 'peg'
not that that is bad
there must be a virtual token of all major fiat
btc, ltc, eth are already new kind of fiat
still very much in their infancy

there has been some talk of the next $1 Billion dollar coin; and i think the $1 peg products might be it.
that is adoptable, portable, and global

paypal, visa, etc offer this service but skim at least +3%
banks have standard rape rates of at least $50/year to hold your fiat (fine print hidden fees)

so the potential for pegs, even if they skim under 0.01% is huge.

what do you think about SEC a.k.a SAFEEXCHANGECOIN guys?
stable price when btc pumped or dumped.
and a lot of people said it's not their true price?
because SEC price should be around 10% MAID.

what do you think guys?
IMO it's another great project

even though it is STUPID
reaching out to the masses means 3rd party storage solutions
(aka MtGox, Cryptsy, ShapeShift, oops hacked)

but 9 out of 10 future crypto users are too dumb
so anyone getting into crypto now will likely play the roll of banker/depositor

what is still unseen is how2 avoid centralization
yet maintain user friendliness for the 'Masses'

trust is not leaving the 'business of money'
but something like a server based 'visa' network
with the coins actually held in cold wallets by trustees who issue 'credit' into the systems

but all that will come with the 2.0 / social networks

I don't particularly know from the list which ones are and which ones are not. All I do know is there are many which is very sad. I still have hope some of them get through to the mass market. I do feel strongly there is not enough emphasis on reaching out to the masses within the Crypto scene.

that's why btc is the best con
1000s of nuffnuffs parroting ... "There is no coin but bitcoin"

that said there are only 2 cons you can drop a $1M dollar sell order on; so there will always be that.

i have voted for bitcoin only as it is the only good virtual currency among all the crypto currencies, ethereum is also suggested by more people but it is far back than bitcoin, we cannot trust on ethereum for longer.

this is based on real evidence ... daily volume paired with associated projects  Wink

i kid you NAT! http://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/

well, i believe only top ten daily volume is not enough to decide which coins are good. there are a lot of factors involved like the usability of the coin and also the developer team.

besides if you want to decide only on market cap and volume you should see how long the coin could sustain that market cap and volume because some coins (as a part pf pump and dump) will have a temporary surge which may push them up in the rank like ETH but they will die slowly.

I see what you did there.

If you were going for cons, I'm not sure how Supernet didn't make the list.

Well all factors are pointed towards how popular a coin is and bought on exchanges. This is represented on:
http://coinmarketcap.com/
So yes i would say your top 20 list is already listed there.
mostly, ranked by market cap, but clustered into platform/dac/tech

I choose ETH, because it is good for the future, then LTC.
LTC n Dogecoin community is quite large and old, many sites are already using the LTC and Doge as a alternative payment other than Bitcoin.

I think after Bitcoin Altcoin is the next top, but a number of people has voted for the Ethereum, I don't think that why for them Ethereum is No.1 as in the near future there is no chance for the ethereum, a few months more Ethereum will come back and after August I think it will go up but not much high.

Lisk is making a very big hype, but I think if they delay the launch too much they will lose that hype, they should act fast to capitalize, people will not wait forever.

BTC should not be on the list. I voted for ETH as it is a hot topic right now and the chart seems promising. LTC is my second choice though. Grin
