That was the controversial first interracial kiss that was aired on live television.

When was that?

I recall an old TV series with a black mom, white dad (Mickey Rooney perhaps?), but I don't recall them ever kissing.  Or even touching.

It is often said that Star Trek's was the first

Just to remain off-topic,  the poles of the Earth are more than 20 km closer to the center than the Equator is; almost as far as the Poles in Poland compared to the Ecuadorians in Ecuador.

Since this is an off-topic thread, inside an off-topic forum, does that really mean that the posts have to be on-topic, and that off-topic posts are really the on-topic ones?

Bob Dylan was the first white man to use the word "nigger" in a folk rock song in the 21st century

Two years later after the supposed robbery and murders of which Hurricane was accused, this...

For the really old conservatives

"Come mothers and fathers, throughout the land
Don't criticize what you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin'
So get outta the new one if you can't lend a hand,
The times, they are a changin'!"

Driver's license checkpoints are illegal.  The fourth amendment protects you from unreasonable searches, and if any government agency searches your vehicle without your consent or demands your identification, you need to remember that if they have no reason to specifically target you, then you are free to go without needing to show the car your license. Additionally, users cannot refuse to attend a driver's license checkpoint, leading to the conclusion that driver's license checkpoints are illegal.
