For people really interested in the proper development of the blockchain technology the price of bitcoin is just anecdotic, but it is understandable the great joy that this consistent price increase is generating among new bitcoiners and speculators.

I prefer to keep in mind that this is technology and by itself it is amazing regardless of the price, although of course I also welcome the $800.

I can't see western exchanges reach $800 today. Especially because I believe it will take several more days, perhaps a week. But this is assuming we won't see the price get dumped down. Anything is possible with Bitcoin. People know that by now.

anything is possible in bitcoin. Well as of now i could see that it reaches 800 but i dont know if the price decreases instantly. But as my self i do believe that it stays @ 800 the price of bitcoin until the end of the year and then it will pump slowly. But we cant really predict the run of bitcoin lets just watch and see

The sell-out that happened before the July halving tells us that these people should be cashing out before the price ever touches the 800 dollar mark. It means that they should be selling before the price gets there, they should be selling right now. And that is what we likely saw for the last few days with the price moving mostly sideways. When it reaches this new high, it would quickly turn into a new support.

This is looking more like some fundie spiritual religious site every day... This isn't about crypto anymore, it's about who is detached most from real life and has the greatest delusions.

I'm glad that for some of you reality is kicking in though, we've seen expectations go down from 10000 by the end of the year to 6000 to 3000 to 1000 to 800.

in other words, nothing new.
this has been happening for as long as any market ever existed in the whole world. when a higher price is reached people sell, price comes down (correction) they buy back again => profit.

we are on a speculation board, everyone is only thinking about price and how they can make more profit from it changing.
i am not disagreeing with what you said though, we need adoption and real usage adoption not more investors who just buy bitcoin to make money (go to da moon)

I disagree; I believe more investors are needed. Bitcoin is an excellent long-term asset for diversification to store value. If just 1-3 percent of life-savings of the average person went to bitcoin we would have many orders of magnitude price increase, and it would be outside the control of the criminal central bankers, who steal money from bank depositors through bail-ins and worthless derivative ponzi schemes.

More it will end of this weekend and in Monday we can see price over 800 so estimated range should be 810-830 by this year end
Lots predict price over 1000 but realist high is to go on 850 dont expect see more then this one
