i did the same search for "1 bitcoin to usd" but google brings me only regular results! coindesk, preev and xe respectively not one of those boxes showing the price on top like other things. that is strange.

anyways i think google takes its price from a couple of places most probably bitfinex and coinbase and these two have been higher (right now btx is $791.8 while btc-e is $779.4)

That is what price I had when I checked I guess. Undecided

It was bitfinex's price but their's is higher than other on preev price rate website by $2-3 all the time.

$600 isn't as far away as you seem to think or realize. We all know how the price can tank significantly in a quick fashion. I am sure that when we break through $800 that the good sentiment will increase even further.

otherwise $850 is a far away target which needs at least 1-2 months to be achieved, unless something big changes with bitcoin that breaks all expectations. and since that is not happening, 850 is not happening either.

it's so near maybe this coming christmas remember there's always surprises when its christmas day and if its not on christmas day maybe this coming year. year 2017 will be good if bitcoin price will start into $800 and maybe around june/july it will be $1000 barrier. there's nothing wrong to have a hope. if its reach that price that will be a good advantage for us. remember alot of users waiting till the price of bitcoin will rise more so they can cashitout but if there's a lot will cashitout that will also be the reason why bitcoin will drop down .
