You can buy silver cheap on ebay. Not in the bar form, but from people selling silverware / scrap silver. It's all about weight. Once you have enough you can buy something to melt the silver and make your own Tetra bars - you can get custom made molds.

hey everyone,
so as i said a few days ago i was going to post some pictures of the silver
currently we've got about 5 which were bought as a test run.
one of the main challenges around buying the silver is the fact i want us to physically own and hold the silver and that means obtaining it is at a higher price due to deliver and the companies wanting to make a cut. It would be a mistake i think to just buy them in principal or have them "in storage" traditionally currencies backed by an asset held the asset and when this began to change fiats began to run into more problems around borrowing and credit.
I'm aiming to buy around 2kg to start up the reserve. I also had an interesting thought in that people could buy thier own silver to help and then make our reserve decentralised but it would need a bit of work around being able to verify its existance etc. but that could be a really interesting concept if i can make something from it. I'd love to hear all your thoughts

Would it be possible to get some information about Tetra like:
Total coins?
Premine?
Running total of swap?
Are you planning a burn?
Since the NUC chain is still running, it might be better to destroy those coins vs. just having a massive wallet of exchanged NUC.
Not to say you're going to do anything with the NUC... but for all we know the NUC developer could come back, resume the coin, and you'd be able to sell those coins if you wanted.
Personally, I'd rather see my NUC destroyed if I was swapping for a new coin vs. the potential for someone to make money and abandon the current project when they sell the NUC. Again not saying this will happen, but this is crypto, anything is possible.

the total coins is technically unlimited, as long as there is silver to be bought then we can keep mining coins
the premine is roughy the amount which the NUC blockexplorer last reported, we will have our tetra block explorer up soon so people can confirm
ill post swap results once we've reached the swap end
obviously we are just going to dispose of NUC so i appreciate the concern but honestly people would have to be crazy to try and get involved in it again if someone was to reincarnate it especially if they held all the coins
My one question would be how much NUC are you holding and will we see proof of the transfer?
