But when you start trading like a robot, you will not be able to enjoy how fun trading is. you can't act like a robot no matter what. You are bound to be swayed by many sentiments. all you need to do is practice how you trade, apply the right strategy and don't violate the strategy or plan that has been made. All of that can be done correctly with good trading discipline. Don't try hard to be like a robot, humans are smarter in processing anything, using feelings to make a decision is important. To be sure you have to fully master the science of trading.

Do you think bots are always right? Bots too make messy predictions too, just that they make more correct predictions than humans if they are well modelled. As for emotions humans are bound to have emotions has long has blood keeps flowing through their veins, Bots don't have emotions because they are virtual and inanimate but their own limitations also happen which occurs mainly when the trend becomes complex or when the market appears different from what they were trained with.

I am right at predicting the next move, but, my emotions are not in control they make my trade go wrong by moving stop loss, increasing leverage.
Is it correct statement that we should trade like robot ?

Go ahead and trade as one if you want to maximize your profits. It is much more difficult to pretend to be someone you are not naturally to others than it is to use a robot that is not even human but acts like one. If you can't control your emotions while trading, even if you pretend to be a robot, your emotions will come back to haunt you and cause you to lose a lot of money.

If you're convinced you can predict the next move, I recommend you work on your emotions and decision-making process. This will assist you in better preparing for trading and making every moment of trading worthwhile.

If you have enough confidence about the trade you won't let go because of emotions. First, you have to have the right mindset for trading then you will be able to participate on time and with confidence.
I don't know if it is right to trade like a robot, but it is better to keep your emotions aside while trading.

Patience is required, of course. You can't be a good trader if you don't have patience, having emotions isn't a wrong thing but having no control over them is probably a bad thing and it needs to be taken care of. You don't specifically need to have no emotions, but your emotions should not have much influence on your decisions or you will probably be at loss.

They say that practice makes a man perfect, so maybe you need to practice being patient more, you can find some tutorials about how you can build up your patience level and follow that, once you learn to become more patient, you should continue with your trading again.

Trading with complete control over your emotions is a good thing because it will lead to better decision taking ability so more profits but humans do have emotions which can't be controlled all the time, just talking the reality here so it's okay if you made mistakes which made some loss but that is not the end, it's just another lesson so it will make you as better human as well as trader so do at it's best at what you're doing either it's trading, working, any job which will give the rewards based on how you're sculpting yourself in person along with skills.

Robots do not have reason, feelings, emotions, or love. and what the robot does is the system that has been designed on the robot.
if you buy and sell using techniques such as robots, of course what will be taken is to have no emotion. indeed there are times when emotions control our body and soul too much, that is what causes damage or failure in any case, as well as buying and selling.

bitcoin investors whose buying and selling are already great (lots of profit) usually some of the factors that cause it are being able to control their emotions or not being in a hurry (having a high sense of patience). and controlling these emotions is usually obtained from learning and experience in trading.

so trading like a robot can be considered good, but more precisely imitating a robot that has no emotions, and even then only a little, because emotions are also needed, because a strong spirit includes emotions too.

If you trade like a robot, you will not trade, but you will put your money in banks and buy US Treasury bonds, and it will suffice to increase your money by 3% annually without fatigue, zero risk, and easy liquidation.

Emotions are essential in trading, had it not been for fear and greed, most of us would not have continued trading, but the most important thing is to control those feelings so that they are a force that pushes you to more profits and not a factor that leads you to loss.
Greed and greed are two weapons if used perfectly.

Do not confuse this term with bot trading. In bot trading, you let the bot do things that you cannot do at certain times, but you are in control.

I'm not sure that's true. you just need more trading experience to anticipate the greed or panic you have when trading. Such a situation is often experienced by a beginner, even every trader at first also makes the same mistake as you.
the more experienced you are, the better your self-control will be regarding the trading planning that you are doing. but indeed everything will take time. hope you are not discouraged.

It all depends, because we may all use the same pattern for trading but have different results, trading is sometimes unpredictable because you can opt in or out and within the next minute you see a drastic change which may also as well favour you or go against the strategy used, that's why many like taking on short position in other to make it more lucrative against running lost within the little period they are in.

Build your rules and don't break them, let your stop loss hit and if it aligned with your prediction, let it be. That is how you manage your emotions, be grateful that your analysis is right even if the trade did not. Always wait for the market to go to your anticipated entry points, don't chase it.  Smiley

Just move back to drawing board to learn more of Trading before you as well have a double thought in trading, many people today who's a trader has already faced a varieties of challenges in trading but they continued pushing,  for you to get it better in trading you have to try to examine  the main factors that obstructs you not to making profits in your trading and skip them, because its from consistent practice that makes perfection in any activities, so therefore trading with bot applications have its disadvantages which I will not like to elaborate right now.

There would be instances where moving the stop loss would prevent your capital from being evaporated and there are also instances where leveraging would multiply your profits, it just depends on what end the trade falls in.

Emotions are not the problem, understanding of the market is. You can compare this to someone who is investing in bitcoin for the first time; they understand a bit of how it works and expect it to rise as indicated by history, but they panic when the price plummets or even dips a little and sell off. Same person few cycles in would not be bothered by such price action.

This is same with a trader, after years of trading and gaining experience you learn to control your emotions and decide when to act on it and when not to.

I think the better question we should be asking ourselves here is;
Robots vs Humans, whom makes a better trader?

By all means I'll pick human. That's why I won't want yo trade like a bot no matter what. Bots have got there accuracy no doubt, they could keep up with the times and launch in immediately a signal is hit but, its got flaws of jumps and stop lose isn't hit then you find yourself relying on a bot that has malfunctioned and your funds liquidated.

With humans, its a whole different story. The only thing that could go wrong is not being sure or you not watching your screen when the moves play out. Better still, you could have a notification in place to remind you. Your emotions are not always against you, some times they could be a tool to keep you out of a bad market condition.

Not really trading like a robot but it's a matter of how you can control your emotion. Perhaps you should set a target price so that you are certain you aren't gonna change that whatever happens. Robots can do that because they have been programmed that way but we human have some free will to whether change our decision or go for what we believe is right.

Practice yourself to control your emotion whenever there's an urge you will get triggered by what's happening in the market. Avoid those things that would cause you to change or trigger your emotion so you can safely decide that your decision is final.

If it happened to you often and your predictions come to pass but you still haven't learnt how to stick to your instincts, it simply means that you don't have a worked out trading plan then. What is trading if it's not prediction? Your emotions shouldn't come into your trades if most of your predictions work out in your direction. Back tests your strategy and stick to it if your predictions work better with it.

That's not possible. Humans will always display emotions and that's what makes us humans. The only thing is that every trader needs to have a strong control over their emotion.

Emotions do make the things you do complicated or making it hard. I think that trading like a robot will help but in my opinion, you should check it most of the time to see what will happen however I think that your emotion will wake up and mess the thing you do again. Anyway, why not try using trading bots to do the work for you when you can set the bot and let it do the work except if the bot doesn't have that feature.

Ideally, yes. You should stick to your plan and make calls accordingly. However, that's wishful thinking. You won't be able to do that since you're a human, emotion will affect you whether you're conscious of it or not. You can practice and try to reduce it by following your own trading plan, for example always exit after you make 1% profit each day, and so on.

As others have mentioned, using a bot can also help you if what you want to do is to avoid making emotionally driven decision. But keep in mind that this does not guarantee you any profit, in fact it might gives you bad calls if the market changes rapidly. At the end of the day though, making bad calls is unavoidable, don't strive for perfection and just aim to make profits every day, or every month depending on what kind of trade you're doing.
How can we trade without wanting to make profit, when we all know the reasons why we trade is for us to make profit.I understand robots does not have emotions but I don't think there is any way human being can do it without thinking about the amount of money he has used to trade, and won't get worried whether it will definitely bring out good result,or it will dissappoint. Although some persons who are really financially stable have conditioned their mind in a way that no matter the amount of money they waste while trading, they still don't feel bad,but that doesn't mean they don't think about the money, but they won't just let it affect them. They do it with double minds, either they gain or they lose, and when they lose, they don't get dissappointed because they already have set their minds that anything can happen.

You can't consider yourself perfect or right on your trades if you still lack the ability to control your emotions during trade. That alone can transform your entire trading journey.

Trading like a robot means you have master all the trading strategies, how and when to stop loss etc.
If you know how to manage all this then you can perfectly use the trade like a robot statement but also note that robots don't actually wins 100% of their entire trade but their chances of winning are kind of higher.

Which ever way you want to place your statement or which ever strategy you want to use, I will always advice you trade with caution.
