I earn a bit more long term trading compared to just holding completely. Simply just following the rule of sell high and buy low. You just need to be active on forums and news concerning crypto so you have an edge in predicting the markets. Take note that it's really risky though. Only trade lpw amounts.

Bitcoin trading is more profitable than just buying and holding. It is valid if you are trading with the right coins, but in reality the market price is very difficult to predict.

You would make more money holding if you got into the right project early.
Like BTC, XMR, ETH, STRAT, DASH.. can't beat that with trading

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
with bitcoin, i have tried day trading and was never that successful at it. i am still doing some trading from time to time when the market is easily predictable but i prefer hodling bitcoin rather than trading it. and when i look at the horrifying state that bitcoin exchanges are at, i stick to my decisions.

with altcoins, things are different for me. i am more comfortable trading them short term. even day trading. they aren't worth holding onto anyways. and so far i can say i was successful and happy with my results.

So people on here are constantly talking about trading altcoins, bitcoins, and cash. Buying and selling. Selling and buying. Are you guys actually making more money than if you just bought some bitcoin and held?

Be honest.

Do you guys not pay short term capital gains tax?
