What is a decent amount of Bitcoin you should have to make day trading  worth while?

For me any amount as long as you are a professional trader then you can surely earn money daily. No matter how much your money is when you don’t know how to execute well then you will loose money, daily.

You can play with 1 bitcoin and see where it takes you. Seven grand is already big and price fluctuations every single day is unreal, making your investment boom if you did well on trading. That can help you quit your day job and just focus on the stress of day trading since you can make a hundred bucks a day if you learn how to ride the volatility.

I don't think OP can work with 1 bitcoin and have a day job. Let's break this down by wages in the United States. In general, $10/hr is a decent average for the minimum wage in the US. Working 8 hours a day, This is $80 a day, or about $400 a week. So, in general to match this, OP would need to be making $400 a week in order to get the minimum wage, not even a decent living wage. In more urban areas, the cost of living is much steeper. I think it would take a bit more than just 1 bitcoin to have trading as a day job.

You should have large amount of bitcoin to make day trading worthwhile because the movement is just a few pips and you have to cover charges and everything. Maybe a 5 to 10 BTC would be enough to make a decent daily earnings from trading.
Wow that is a way huge amount for decent daily earnings for trading. Well it seems that you really need to have a good capital if you want to earn decent from swing trades or day trades. A good trader can earn from any amount that is why I am not that greatly shocked when you said to trade with that amount, because if you think logically even gamblers spend so much without even knowing if they are sure to win or not, likewise to trading kinda risky gamble but atleast knowledgeable.

What is a decent amount of Bitcoin you should have to make day trading  worth while?

it's totally up to you. low invest means low profit and also low risk. so i think it is wise to start with low amount for beginners  so  when you feel confident then you can increase your amount.
But low profit isn't worth with your time , talents and efforts you did spend on it, right?

It will be worth if the guy is starting up and surely later on these days he will spend huge and earn huge if he now the technicality of the trades, And we shouldn't put some money if we are newbie since we might gonna lose our big capital for thingking to earn on these easily. Decision making is critical on these things since we need to act on what is our current stand today and don't act like a pro on tradings.

Very big amount of Bitcoin is the answer. You could not earn anything with just 100k or 200k satoshi for real.

What is a decent amount of Bitcoin you should have to make day trading  worth while?
I do not limit the amount of money I spend. I always think that when I have a chance then I have to take the opportunity. When my money runs out but I think I have a great chance to make a profit then I will do various ways in order to be able to trade. Because the purpose of trading is to gain profit and it must all we can maximize as possible.

You might want to think it about it when it is bitcoin that you will trade.

A large sum of it is the only thing where you see a good profit. If you will just trade for small amounts then the fees will just get in the way and will eat up all the profits you have made.
You also might want to take a look at ICO's if you are willing to take the risk. There is a lot of going on there. Just a suggestion though.

It depends. If your predictions are fairly accurate you can start with probably as low as 0.01BTC. Though with that amount, I'd probably trade certain low-cap altcoins instead. I personally prefer high-risk:high-reward trading.

Of course you could start with like 5-10BTC, so your profits will be higher. But take note: your profits may be higher with a bigger bankroll, but your losses will be higher too. So take into consideration your risk:reward ratio.

Day trade of what? Bitcoin or altcoins?

In altcoins, 0.01 minimum will do but to feel the profit (like you said a "decent" one) then pull out what you think is enough.

There are coins that are prone to manipulation that can blowout their volume in just a matter of minutes resulting for 2 traders output - to win or to lose. Day trades isn't easy as anyone think so if they don't understand the risks and basics then refrain for now doing this thing. In some of the cases, strategies for day trades wrecked because average traders just playing randomly with the coins without any cautions.

In bitcoin, you need lots of it to feel the profit and take advantage even with those small swings. As much as possible higher than BTC5. The idea is the same as altcoin although the risks here is worth to shot.

I think you can start at 1 btc and wait if it takes it with you but if you want about high earnings or profit income in day trading you must have at least 3-6 btc a days or more of that if you want more. Because the more you have the more earnings you got.

I think 0.5 btc would be enough to live in trading.. since the price of bitcoin is really increases too fast and could drop instantly you can make profit for every price increase just search for some exchanges with low fee so that you can trade daily ..

Maybe you should say what is your target for "decent amount". For some people getting 1 or 2 k extra a month from trading is enough for others they need much more. So it all depends on what target you want to achieve.

I think the minimum should be .010BTC ,the recommended is 1btc up. It depends if you want a good profit then invest a large money.  Be mind that trading involves high risk. Invest the amount of money you are willing to risk.

You don’t need much to trade because the fees are a percentage of your trading amount. It’s not a flat fee. You can start with maybe as little as 0.1 Bitcoins or possibly even less than that. Of course the saying “you have to have money to make money” is true because if you principle is low, the profits are low too, but you have to start somewhere.
