Basically you tell him that he can do all that if he have enough time and energy, and of course money! Trading, investing in ICO's and IEO's, gambling and lending require bankroll, more you have more easier you can make profit, cause you can try different things, with more money invested you don't need to wait x100 or much more to make some significant amount, if you have 5k for example even 10% is a lot of money, with 5 dollars you need x100 to make the same amount.
Bounties are different thing, its where you can earn some money for start. If you have good rank here on forum, or other forums, if you have many followers on social networks or blog, maybe youtube channel with many followers and you find good bounty you can earn nice money and then you can start thinking about investing that money in some service, and that can be nice passive income.

You should do Trading and ICO. The crypto space has thought us how to manage investment from experience. The two system which I suggested have favoured me. When you trade, it help you make daily income and when you invest in good projects ICO or IEO, it help you have good expectations and most a time, the expectations are favourable. Bounty is recommendable, but the profit is not as Trading and ICO.

You can either choose to invest money or time in a coin but whatever you choose is better that you do it well otherwise you are going to lose your investment, there was a time in which doing bounties was extremely profitable but I doubt those days will see a resurgence, and this is because even if you are fortunate enough to select the right coin to invest your time most of the time the developers are not going to give you the coins that you deserve.

This defeats the whole purpose of trying to participate in bounty campaigns, then what we can do? Agreed on the statement, but nowadays it is not at all possible to segregate the good bounties and the untrusted ones. In most of the cases only at the end of the ICO we'll come to know it is worthless. Further we can't do anything, and at least we're investing time participating on campaign while investors invest funding the project and in most cases they're unable to trade their tokens as it won't get listed on leading exchanges.

It all depends on your expertise because everything requires sufficient skills and knowledge so you can do it right.
all have risks but if you choose to trade it will be better than the others, and make long-term trading to produce greater results than short-term trading, and whatever your choice remains through good learning and accurate knowledge processes.

I think I would go for trading simply because trading is really more profitable compared to the others. ICO is out of the question because most of them are now not effective unlike it was before. Bounty could be a good option but it is tough to find a good one among the sea of helpless projects. But if you find one then it is good, I think in choosing a promising bounty is a matter of luck.
You seem unfortunate in doing a trad so I think holding your remaining balance would be a better option and wait for the uptrend, it is guaranteed that it will give a high return.

I think the perfect for you is to Hold your bitcoins and while waiting for uptrend. It seem your knowledge and your experience in trading is not enough hence just use a small amount of money and try to earn more knowledge and experience. You shouldn't have use a huge amount of money in trading if you lack of experience because by default you will only loss it all.
ICOs are not a good option now because they aren't the same before like it was before 2017. Hunting a bounty could also be good but it is difficult to tell what are the good one.

Trading is the most profitable way in my opinion, but it is also one of the riskiest methods. As you bought BTC when it was $17k you don't have any choice but waiting till the price reach a higher level again, it may take a long time, but it is better than selling with the actual rate.
Investing in ICOs and bounty hunting is less profitable, but you can make some money if you pick up the most promising projects.
