I've not really traded outside of Cryptocurrencies.
Then why are you commenting here to increase your post count? Roll Eyes

You can also trade in stock exchange and hope that you will find it better than crypto trading. In crypto trading you can only trade in those currencies in which you invest your money, while in stock exchange you can buy and sell any product shares just in seconds.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The ICOs provide you with tokens that can be compared to the stock markets shares. So in that way they are similar. Pumping and dumping is also the same and FUD marketing is also same.

Quote
But don’t be greedy because greedy people always lose their money in stock and in crypto trading.
Thats always true.

Hello I didn't know anything about trading until I first started trading monero on poloniex when it was like $5. Now I've learned a lot just from trading and mining crypto but my only experience is with crypto.

So I guess this is backwards but now I would like to try trading or investing outside of crypto....is that stocks?...see I have no clue what everything is called. Are there trading sites like bittrex etc?

what is the differences between a crypto exchange and a "stock exchange" that trades in dollars? Do you have to provide ID? Are they easier to fund in dollars?

Is there anything like a Trade Satoshi where I can just practice with small amounts?

Thanks for any information

Trading outside of crypto, I guess you mean forex or binary trading, cause that’s the two things you can trade outside of crypto trading and they are quite similar to each others. You just need a little training on how it works to be able to understand and trade them.

I have tried forex trading once, but it wasn’t really much of what I expected then, so I decided to quit. And like I said, there isn’t much difference between them. I believe if I go back to that this time around I will also make good profit from every trade.

As far as I know, there are advantages and disadvantages trading in crypto or stock exchange. Stock exchange is more regulated and legalized than crypto exchange. Based on my knowledge, the major thing that affects the price of the product your holding in stock exchange is the economy level while in crypto, the price is always driven by the trader by following TA and FA results. If you wanted to invest in stock exchange, you better ask an assistance to a professionals or consult your bank because they always offer this type of investment.

I think there are two things wrong with what you are trying to achieve. First of all this is crypto forum, this is "bitcoin"talk so whatever you are trying to do outside of bitcoin you should go do it on their forums and learn from them, we here are bitcoin traders and not stock traders.

However if we put that aside you should also know that if you want to trade stocks that will not be similar to bitcoin. In crypto we have huge swings so there are people who keep making money and who keep losing money and everything in between, in stocks things move much slower so you will not see these kinds of moves. People who make %20 in stocks considered to be genius whereas %20 is easy to achieve in bitcoin, up or down.

We can find a trading platform that fits us, for me I love crypto because it's more profitable here, I am not saying all the time
but based on my experience, I have made a good profit investing during the early days. I should focus on crypto as the more I stay here
I learn something that could help me be more confident.

A lot of question but I should say please do some research before start it, you don't have basic knowledge. Information about trading in every platform or news is need to know before enter the market. We can't explain one by one because trading is more like " DO " not " READ ". Never forget to practice to know market works and see you there.

If you want a practice trading you need to imagine if you want to trade outside of crypto to learn some how mistakes that you do in trading.
That is were many of investors are losing money.  The reality is that you should demo and practicing before putting in your hard earned money into any readable assets such as bitcoin, forex, commodities and betting.  Opportunities are out there and your skills is what put money into your pocket.
i think learning a good demo, but don't study too long in it. certainly will have a different level of psychology. i think this is a basic lesson for all the trades you mention. too confident is not good either

Stock trading and cryptocurrency trading have a lot in common though, some of their methods of trading and the platform may look different. But one vivid things is that they follow the same taring method of 'buying low and sell high". I suggest you should learn and to trade stocks just like the way you learnt to trade cryptocurrency. You can start by trading penny stocks which is less than a dollar.
It's depend from how deep is your understanding, the pattern can be in a same way and if you really love dealing with trading then you can work it out
and enhance your capabilities to follow the flow, this two venue can be sort using your deep research and monitoring the progress of ay assets that you  are investing with, assessing and analyzing are pare of skills that needed in order to survive and enjoy the market barely needed to keep this two in the places when you most needed it to lessen the chances of losing your entire investment.

What's the point of starting with penny stocks when most crypto currencies that people can trade here are just as speculative and worthless? It's even a waste of time in my opinion.

Technically speaking, short term minded traders don't and shouldn't care about what they trade, it's all about catching the opportunities that the volatility in a specific market offers, and crypto is more than perfect for that.

i dunno, i started off trading crypto years ago. i still trade it (mostly futures), but i love me some penny stocks too. lots of 10-baggers and whales trades to be made in the pink sheets. i also trade a bit of forex, and until recently also traded CFDs for commodities on 1broker.

trading altcoins sucks in a bear market. and a lot of people aren't cut out for futures. the other options for shorting aren't too appetizing. (like bitfinex......bitfinex and tether get subpoenas, phil potter leaves, after years of unlicensed money transmitting in the USA? no thanks)

if you like speculative whale trades (like small cap altcoins), there are lots of fun markets to trade. no reason to limit yourself to crypto, especially given how insecure exchanges are. when crypto was in a lull like this in 2015, lots of the gung ho crypto traders from 2013-14 moved onto other markets. nothing wrong with that!

If one coin is slowing down, then you simply go to the next one. There is no shortage of coins offering volatility, not even during the current bear market. You learn by diving in the crypto market, not by trading stocks first.

Every beginner loses with trading initially, even with stocks.

Well, since you are so familiar with cryptocurrency, and cryptocurrency exchanges. Then you should not have a question about stock, commodity exchanges. Also Forex market. The essence is the same, only different assets with their strategies. And of course brokers. If you want to trade shares, please download any platform, and on a demo account. At random everyone will understand!

Thinking something different from University is always welcome mobil for all of us so investing outside of Crypto is a good idea for and good investors to choose but the way up to see is very very important in my opinion to sing and thinking is very straight forward and intelligent full for us.

Trading stocks in Forex and trading crypto in Poloinex, Bittrex, Binance and sort of these are somehow similar, except with the amount of risk associated and the amount of money which you can initially trade. Trading crypto is much riskier than trading in Forex, because the latter is regulated and requires brokers, unlike with crypto. Secondly, stocks in Forex is liquid, since it represents a tangible share in a company which you chose to invest your money in and to grow, unlike with crypto which is illiquid; reason why it is more volatile than the stocks in Forex. The only thing that's good about trading crypto is that it is "very mass". When I say very mass, what I mean is even those who have little funds and little knowledge about it can dive in, unlike with Forex where you have to undergo seminars/trainings and you really have to have a real deal of money to enter in. Well, at least with crypto, we all have our fair share of opportunity to make money unlike with Forex trading.

You could actually apply your knowledge of technical analysis to trade other asset classes such as stocks, but you may want to consider the fact that stocks are highly regulated markets with a lot of automated procedures. You are likely to find it much more challenging and more likely, less rewarding, the fees are significantly higher.

I agree with you on this one. The knowledge on trading from crypto is transferable to any market but like you say one has to be mindful that the stock markets for example are not as volatile as what we see with crypto.

If you really want to go outside crypto, you will have to understand where you are going into in the first place and all the perks involved. The main reason why you have done so well in crypto trading and mining was because you did your research had to learn some few things to start getting something substantial from it in the long run.

Stock market, Forex or any other market is something you really want to do some study on your own, get to know what it is all about and how you can go about either trading in any of them before you even go ahead. They are totally different worlds and you have to thread them based on the knowledge of that particular space.
