It would be easier without the 8h between trades rule. IMO a fair trading simulation should allow 2 (two) pairs of trades
within 24h (buy-sell-buy-sell), to avoid getting bull trapped and to buy at a local bottom quickly after selling.
With the 8h rule it's a different game, not really trading simulation, and more frustrating. But I can play it like that.

)It's amazing how bad we are collectively. IMHO the problem is that there's no way we can use bots, if bots are active there'll be a whole other story, it's really hard to do this manually.

it's just to be able to differentiate between people who are "actively holding" their USD or BTC balance (and watching the scoreboard) and people who don't and just forgot about the game
