Please let me know what you guys think about changing the 12h rule to a 8h rule.
Advantage: you can trade at least 2 times a day if you want; more active trading
Disadvantage: less active people will be a little more discouraged to play this game; we incentivize taking short term profits a little more

just a quick thought about the making trades 12 hours apart, perhaps less limiting if we take out the waiting requirement but limit it to 2 trades per 24hr
yeah well, maybe change it to 8 hours between 2 trades?
the thing is, "per day" is difficult to define.

for now, we only allow trades with your full balance. Imho, it's more fun (so you need to buy BTC with your full USD balance or sell your full BTC balance for USD).
it will make the differences between the traders larger, which is better for the competition aspect.
If others think otherwise, post it here and we can change the rules
(I already said before that the rules aren't set in stone, this is a community game

Current Podium:
I'll try to update the trades and post the podium every day, around 12:00 and 00:00 UTC
(I am not online 24/7, so expect some hiatus from time to time. that's why it's important to do your own accounting)
So don't worry if it takes some time before your trade shows up on the scoreboard. after all, you can only trade once in 12 hours, so that isn't really a problem

I imagined this game would be a lot harder to administer, but it turns out that it will be "relatively easy" thanks to google spreadsheets
That is why I changed the rule about adding new people. Everyone can join by posting in this thread. They will receive the media score as USD budget when they register for this game. At the moment, the median is stil 100 USD. Median can be checked at the scoreboard.
