Before investing or trading, you have a good knowledge about crypto-currencies. We all know that without much knowledge or skill, no body make good development for any work. So, before investing or trading we have a deep knowledge and research the crypto-currencies.
No one can make a profit in this market without the knowledge, because any investment requires research and if you do not spend time doing this, you will definitely fail. I used to lose a lot of money when I joined this market, but instead of being disappointed, I considered it a valuable lesson to gain more experience when choosing to invest in the market.

Everyone in this space is a trader at a point. So called investors gets into trade at a point most especially in the bull market and some trade immediately after the private purchase that gives x2 or more profit. The rich ones in this space cant go into short term trade as some do, they prefer projects on big exchange and project that provide OTC trade, such selloff can dump the market massively so they get high volume exchange for trade or OTC selloff that is staggered.

If someone asked me about the best way to make money in the stock market, is it investment or trading, then it is not an easy question. Both of them contain the pros and cons. Personally, I do not consider myself an investor or a trader. My own way of growing my file depends on short-term investment alongside some long-term and even smaller trading volumes.

Trade wisely

If you are interested in trading, here are some tips for minimizing risk:

Create a plan that dictates when you will buy and sell. For example, you can decide to sell if the stock is rising or falling by a certain percentage.

Stick to your plan. Even experienced traders let their arguments in favor of the retention of certain shares to change. “This is the hardest part of being a trader, sticking to your rules, " says Matt Saneholz, a former professional trader and now co-owner of Tobias Financial Advisors in plantation, Florida.

Find out how much money you can afford to lose, and don't trade more than that. Larren Odom, founder of Chastain Wealth Management in Atlanta, suggests trading no more than 5% of your investment assets.
Investing wisely

Investing is a way to create long-term wealth. Just ask anyone who bought stocks in March 2009-the Standard & Poor's 500 index has grown by about 250% since then. A recent nerdwallet study shows that investing in the stock market can generate millions more retirement dollars than placing money in a traditional savings account or storing it in cash.

Here are tips for getting it right:

Create an investment plan to buy, sell, and rebalance your assets. For example, some people sell some holdings and buy others to get the portfolio back in line with its original goals after market movements have unsettled it.

Trading is also investing but this time around you need to be very skillful and learn how to trade effectively. It is a very tedious exercise and it requires a lot of patience because you can as well lose your investment if you do not know how to read cryptograph and also know when to stop and wait for recess especially during the bear market.
Yes investing and trading only have a thin line to differentiate because in trading we make buy and sell orders on a regular basis while investing we only make a buy and then let the value accumulate more and more before we sell it, I personally consider investing as a slow approach of trading because they both are similar only the fact that we hold longer in investing.

Both trading and investing are the same way and destination to get much profit but have different system how to get much money with bitcoin and altcoin, with trading we can earn much money every day and investing could earn but need waiting for long term.
Actually investing is beneficial when you are looking for long term profits like investing in bitcoins while trading is when you know the value will rise and fall very soon for example most of the altcoins in the market.
Often buying and selling on regular basis are most likely the definition of the trading while investing is more about long term investment. Those two strategies are differently to each other and that is why we should know if we will do trading or investing. Both have different level of risks, we should just choose on the strategies that we should use in order to cover our risks appetite.

Both investors and traders earn money through the help of the market.

It is true that it generated a lot of profit from the investors and the traders but I don't agree with this line.

The market has nothing to help these investors and traders. They are the reason they generated this money or profit they have. With the knowledge they had, they received that well-deserved profit. As you said, there are a lot of ways to earn money and the market is not the one making these opportunities but the investors and traders themselves.

I disagree with you that the market has noting to help investors and traders - I think they do it just depends on how you want to use it to your own benefit, thats the hard part but once you crack it both can help you generate profit.

It's all a matter of knowing what to take and when to take it!

Trading and investing are two different strategy to make your money grow. For trading, it involves short term strategy and have a chance on making higher profits but risky. While investing on the other hand, is long term strategy that works on buy and hold approach less risky than trading. Both trading and investing have different pros and cons but have the same goal which is to gain or make more money. The market is involve in the growth for every traders and investors, the market serves as the bridge where interactions and opportunities takes place. And I highly advice that either you choose trading or investing make sure to research and understand well the methods before engaging to it for less risks and problems.

On the contrary I feel like investing is just a part of trading because you buy a certain asset/coin when it's price is low and you will sell it once the price goes up, this what we do in investing and trading both so I don't know how investing can be seen as not a part of trading because Trading requires 2 basic skills:

1- Investing: Having the ability to buy a coin when you know the price will rise eventually be it short term or long term.

2- Divesting: You must be able to sell your coins at the peak time.

So for me, investing is part of the trading system and every investment is made to be divested later.

I do investing then holding. Trading isnt that good that much specially now the market falls down.

I trade first and then I try to invest How do I hold if I do not have enough capital This is why it will be most effective to invest and hold on after making a profit before trading. So if the price goes up we can make a lot of money.

For newcomer or investor it is better to first invest in good coins and make some money which could be capitalized to do trading. It is risky for nay one to trade and in crypto due to high volatility people can lose out their money quickly so unless one is sure or have that skill set to trade better to invest and make money and once people think they have gained some experience or have knowledge then can start trading as well.

Well, we have seen the difference between trading and investing on this very bear run that we just had, literally in a week we have seen the difference.

If you are a trader you might as well lost money this week because bitcoin went from 7.5k to 3.6k to 6.8k and now on 5.8k or so. That means there was a lot of chances to both lose money and make money as well, it was volatile and confusing. However if you are an investor you probably didn't get affected all that much, many investors bought lower than this, the ones who bought over this are already waiting so they will be basically waiting for higher than lower increase and that is about it. So all in all investors are unscathered by this while traders are losing/winning money from this moment.

These days it is really not all that interesting to do both of them, they are both hurting as it is unless you are a shorts futures type of guy.

Right now, we are talking about a situation where traders who buy daily are hurting because it is dropping daily, so the day traders or short term traders are hurting right now and not making any profits. The long term ones that are investors are hurting as well, if they needed the money now due to all the crisis going on, they would have to sell on a hurting price as well, if they didn't need it at all they would still keep it but their portfolio is down nevertheless. So basically everyone is losing today, not a great time for bitcoin or any other coin and not a good time for any type of bitcoin related profiting since there is none.
Those who are dealing around working with binary types of trading will see the outcome right away and if experienced gives them the advantage they can consider any movements as opportunities to their trading activities. Those short term calls if basing with experienced and instinct that the situations will favors their current position.
Binary is same alike with gambling with luck and fate but any market types can be perform.

Yes, they are good at making money but they are totally different when it comes to action on how to make money. Trading is a very risky part while investing is you're always is a safe zone. Why? Because you can hold it depend on how long the time frame you want and the profit you have been targeted on it.

I may advise if you have a capital for that, just split your money into two. Half for the trading and another half for investing. Probably in that way, you can cover your failure if there is.
Yes apparently trading is hard job (a lot possibility to earn x2-x4 in shortly) from investing money. For trading i think it’s not a start anyone suddenly. Nope, if we will comparing about risk then definitely i think both of similar risk zone. But i agree these are really good suggestion to use your money in the both purposes likes trading and investment.
There are different types of trader, there are traders who are passive that are close to being investors where they accumulate positions and hold it for a long time and there are also type of trader who are active where he/she often exchanging cryptocurrency to fiat or vice versa. Both of it are effective on making money but the thing is we should know if our skills are suitable on becoming a trader or a investor.

Trading: short term, emotional based
Investing: long term, fundamental based
Both of them are fundamentally based and trading MUST never be done based on emotions or personal feelings, trading while it seem simple requires a lot of analysis and ability to read charts so can't be said trading is accomplished emotionally. Investing though is long term and fundamental I agree because you must have the vision to foresee that the value will increase over longer period of time.

For me investing is much easier than trading because trading requires sharp judgement of when to buy and sell a particular asset while investing you just have to HODL and wait till the price reaches your desired value.
It is really impossible for those newbies to not have emotions or feelings when trading. There is a trading psychology and we should aware of it. Trading requires good mindset, intrapersonal skills, having good risk and management and also good trading psychology. Traders are ususally people who often buy and sell cryptocurrencies and other financial instruments while investors are passive because it requires patience in order to hold a coin in a long period of time.

When trading, you have to stay on the ball and watch everything, which is associated with a lot of headache and nerves. You bought once when investing and you can forget everything for a certain time. And the statistics say that trading is not much more productive than investing
Well said mate, it is more complicated when doing trading because you have to observe everything, you need to have more knowledge if you are doing trading because you may lose your money if you do trading without proper knowledge, it is not really simple compared to investing, where you are only need to hold your money for a long time or even in the shorter time, you only have to wait for the bitcoin to goes high so you may earn money, but both methods need proper knowledge to make money.
- I feel both are a relatively similar chain of knowledge, we can clearly see that analytical knowledge is no different from basic to advanced depending on our professionalism, the difference is just the time we spend on both, the investment may be longer when it's a long-term perspective while trading is a short-term calculation. However, sometimes both options can still replace each other and that requires the flexibility of traders or investors, understands the situation and knows what is most beneficial in that situation.

Investing relies on the market situation, there are times you will invest and that year might not be a good year for cryptocurrency and you will not make profit. I am not trying to say that investing is not good, it’s really good but the profit doesn’t come at all times.

Then as for trading, it all depends on whether you understand how it really works, if you know how to trade it won’t be a big problem for you as you will be able to make profit most of the times and by the end of the year you would have made lots of profit. But if you don’t know how to trade, then that’s your bad luck.
