I did get one with 0.004 fee once, the main question is the number of inputs and outputs, hence the byte size of the transaction, a regular ~222 byte with one input and output doesn't cost more than ~0.00015 on average fees, but larger ones multiply the needed fees.

Its more crazy now than when juhan wu was injecting a ton of fake transactions to get the fee up. I thought segwit was supposed to solve this?

Perhaps it's proof that he was right about the necessity for big blocks?

Just now make a withdraw from Bitgrail and it take 0.00133153 BTC ($5.49 ) as a fee !! (https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/cdf1dc891dfc0bd827b3b4f442ab5095e5073486bce9711fde859da7fccf7ecb) Oh my God! I think it's too many fees for a transation. How to overcome this high fee? Do you follow any special tips to overcome high Bitcoin fee?
Badly i need to know any good tips about it. Someone help me please.
Best regards
Mkmanik

I see that the transaction fee is very much justified due to the fact that it was confirmed in a space of eight minutes, If you really dont need faster confirmation dont pay such outrageous transaction fees. I believe a fee of $1.30 can be confirmed within an 45 minutes.

Well this would feel bad but we can do nothing to control the transaction fees taken by exchange. Maybe you can avail service from other exchange like polo which charge 10k sats only but if the altcoins you are trading are not listed there then you have no choice.

It is not so much yet. On YoBit which I use for exchanging the fee is 0.0015 BTC and it is too much. So I try to not use the function of withdrawing bitcoins to my wallet.
if you are searching for a low fee wallet I can recommend you that one that I use - Hashnest, the fee is only 0.0002 BTC.
I really thought the hard fork will bring to us low fees, but that doesn't happen, at least we have now 4000$ price for bitcoin and that is even better.

Really? Advising a cloud mining website as a wallet?
Why not using a wallet that let you choose the fees you want to set yourself. As web based wallet, I know Bitwala let you set the fees yourself

We can not overcome the high fees and we set to lower the price of the fee, so until now that can setting the fee only in blockchain only and for fees outside the blockchain are all equivalent to 0.001 even more annoying again is when we have been exposed to fee 0.001 Look at tx id fee that we give it from some address not until 0001 now this is a lot of exchange sites that take advantage of the fee is not how the price feenya but we can calculate how many people who invest in the exchange and that's a great advantage for the exchange..

The fees are changing within minutes. When they are to high, i wait a few minutes, until they are much smaller. Maybe the fees will go down or at least become more stable in november with lightning network.

Bitgrail might have charged you a lower fee just like the fee schedule shows https://bitgrail.com/fees .... and this 0.00133153 BTC should have been a collective fee to cover the several inputs of  the tx

Do you follow any special tips to overcome high Bitcoin fee?
The only way to pay lower fees is to send btc funds when the network is not conjested because if this is the case you will be forced to pay higher fees to get ahead of the que

The fees are really getting out of hand... Bitcoin was meant to be the currency to go against that kind of thing - Now the miners who have a monopoly on the market act together and if it keeps going like this, soon enough bank transfers will be cheaper, lol... and if that time comes, bitcoin will be useless.

I don't know why so many services require such a high fee. It's a nuisance. Transaction fees as low as 0.000003 do get confirmed eventually. You might have to wait 24-48 hours, but they do get confirmed.

I have already mentioned many times that bitcoin transaction fees aren't fair, bitcoin users have to pay lessbas it was from the first time. By the way currently we don't have to pay as much fees as we had months ago and exchanger don't has to request you to fee so high fee, seems they aren't good or they want much profit.
If there isn't any other platform to trade with XRB, then contact exchanger and request less transaction fees or they will lose their good customer.

The chain offers nothing. You send you're done , there is no call free phone to satoshi to get your coins back.
That's because PayPal doesn't offer BTC's security.  They can screw around with your funds if they want to.  It's security versus convenience, and I don't think you can put an exact value on either of those things.

BTC's security? This is a service that is charging the extra fees here.
We have an 3rd party using btc as a transaction medium, we're not talking about coin storage.

I had to pay the same fee. Switch to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin (Satoshi was a big blocker) and Bitcoin Core want all transactions happening offchain (Lightning Network) because Blockstream wants to become the new Visa/Mastercard.

What is that altcoin you're talking about? The one with no miners
You are incorrect about that.  Actually, miners support it dramatically more than the economy, which is why it's 62% more profitable to mine on the original chain.

Let's wait till the difficulty adjustment kicks in.
And what's the current difficulty between scamcash and BTC ? 650PH of hasing power?
If we take it like that , do you know even quark has miners still mining?

As for merchants, you're correct that the attitude towards BCH has been focused on exchanges and wallets rather than places to actually use it.  However merchants come with time.  If you were judging currencies based on where people accept it, you would be using fiat.

Merchants will come...just like how they did for litecoin. 1 every year.

If i made a mess of the formatting , excuse moi in advance Smiley

The transaction fee is too high. If we trade in large quantities it will take a lot of money. I think you should choose another type of trading or trading platform with lower fees. While waiting for the fee to be revised!

You should check what priority you chosen while proceeding the transaction. If you had highest priority of transaction meaning your transaction should be processed within 10 minutes then you have to pay high fees for that. Also note that your transaction fees are x percentage of your transacted amount, so higher the amount of transaction higher are the fees also. So just check those parameter first and then recalculate it.
