Is not it very risky to keep that amount of money in bitcoins? If the market falls, then there will be big losses.

Probably an OTC seller if I had to guess. Or some kind of venture capital being shifted to a company they invested in. I imagine those are the most likely, but it could be illegal purposes I suppose. Wasn't his the transaction that was processed with $0.04? Saw this on reddit and hopefully people and exchanges start realizing that fees are very low Grin

Hopefully they are transferring it into that huge cold storage underground nuclear bunker never to be seen for the next ten years. I doubt they are for sale, market is too low for that

Yesterday someone really taken big risk and trasfered his money to other wallet dont know who can do it or its legal money transfer or not
here is its blockchain track link https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/address/12YygZpCEC8VED2oSMQdWCq5xBnHo9ts1Z

cause its not a small amount its 298 M $ transferred almost

what u think its legal transaction money used for legal use or some fishy thing !
It's unbelievable, This is the first transition I have seen, where 48500 Bitcoins have been transferred together. Since Bitcoin can be used by any person to take his money safely to another place. So I think someone has transferred his money to another country. Otherwise, any company or bank has purchased this Bitcoin for hold.
well here is the first major motion starts, ahead of the big funds and larger accumulation of bitcoins in the wallets. the funds are starting to move.

I think this is just an individual's wallet and they want to be safe by constantly changing wallets and anonymity. That could be a big whale when that number is not a small number.

Probably an exchange moving around coins.

But also it shouldn't really be 'taking a big risk'. Surely the person or people dealing with that amount of money can do the simple task of signing the transaction on an offline machine or device to make it virtually risk free.

Nice amount of BTC. Maybe someone wants to play with market or just pump-dump BTC price. Traders always react on such moments.

Thank you for the blockchain track link address. I will tell that whoever he is has taken a big risk. Maybe it is a big industry or company that is holding most of the BTC in the market. I hope that they won’t take any step that affect the entire market situation.

And the people still asking why bitcoin is better than banks lol
Try to do a bank wire out of the state with normal amounts and you can see the fees.
Try to do a bank wire out of the state and they will ask you a lot of question, and you need to wait from couple days to 1 week.
Try to do a bank wire out of the state of some millions.. probably they arrest you instantly Cheesy

I also saw something that a bunch of investors were planning to send $300k worth of bitcoins to Venezuela to be sold there, in an attempt to help them counter hyperinflation in that country. Strange how this amount is almost exactly what is needed to fund that goal.  Roll Eyes Some Whale might have seen that and decided that it was a good opportunity to help people with his coins.  Undecided

You never know.  Roll Eyes Let's hope these coins just moved owners and that it will not have an affect on the price.  Grin

legal money in Bitcoin? 70% of the money in the crypto is just a way to launder this money.  Grin
And we have this wallet- https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/address/18888888EENAhksSohAkYwq7Fy4HLGciHb with 8

This wallet often sends signal transactions that exactly repeat the fall or growth of bitcoin, depending on the amount of the transaction.

That is some bravery action the person did there. He must be sweating himself before pressing the send button. Hope this is just a normal activity from a whale and nothing illegal going on.
