Imo projects like beatzcoin, tap network, mfchain etc that have an ecosystem with actual value and a working business model will be the next trend.. Team plays a big role as well but finding a good one is subjective
As I noticed that alternative coins react to bitcoin growth with delay, but almost everything grows, so I hope that in the next bull run we will not break this pattern
I think that if there is a bullish market, then all altcoins will grow and will grow strongly, but it is possible that some group will grow weaker or stronger and that it will be specifically so far impossible to say. I think security tokens will be the next trend. people are getting bored with utility tokens because there is never a definite use. as long as the platform has not yet operated the utility tokens will not work. therefore security tokens are more profitable. so the next trend is definitely about this.
I can't really tell that the trend will be for the next bull run. Perhaps those projects with real working products and those weak ones will be left behind.
When we see a bullrun like 2017 one there are basically no coins that wouldn't bring their holder some nice profit. There indeed were coin types that got an extra boost in value but everything went up rather parabolically.

Its still a hype i think since many people are still not good in terms of reading the price movement just like the recent pump. The trend will soon be reverse, and we will see a more up trends. I think we can easily see that cryptocurrencies with high rank on Coinmarketcap will become hot trend in next bullrun for sure. Beside, I think cryptocurrencies or new ICO project which will be listed on Binance will also become hot trends as well.
Those coins who will be able to run an icos inside binance gained attentions and supports from the crypto investors, the bull run will happenwe all should be aware that in any manner the hyped will comes along the way, usage will play the big part of another bull when crypto offers

Indeed many altcoins in the market get to pump up because of the increasing price of bitcoin This is due to bitcoin price alone and the hype that many people are investing with it because of its scalability and XRP was one of that coin who got pump up, But as we can see that most of the coins were affected by the bitcoin price there are few coins that did not and this coin was called stable coins because they are not based on bitcoin but with fiat currency, Well apparently there are some manipulation with the price that is why there will be a correction afterward and back then there are many FUD on the forum and the news so they can sure manipulate peoples feelings in taking their investment with bitcoin and that had cost the bear market.

I do not see any hints that the trend is changing, today there is no news that could change the global trend today, I think that everything will be in a year or more. Because so far there is no evidence that such cryptocurrencies in the legislation.

Privacy is still going to be the trend for this next bull run. People want to stay anonymous whether in transactions or information. Everyone is in favor of this kind of choice when it comes to cryptocurrency. And bitcoin will be the starter of the next bull run, it provides anonymity and the people loved bitcoin. There's no more other any trend that's going to be added to the market unless it will change the mind of people to replace bitcoin as the top choice and king of crypto's.
