The website doesn't work over TOR and needs a bunch of java script as far as I can tell. So if this site can't even work over TOR and all I am looking for is one table of players so I can get a game going what is all the hate about? Please let me know because I am confused.
Why do you need it to work with TOR?
Most online casinos need to verify your location before you play now.
5.3 JURISDICTIONS. Persons located in or residents of the United Kingdom, the United States, the United States Territories, Czech Republic, Curaçao and Australia (the ”Prohibited Jurisdictions”) are not permitted make use of the Service. For the avoidance of doubt, the foregoing restrictions on engaging in real-money play from Prohibited Jurisdictions applies equally to residents and citizens of other nations while located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction. Any attempt to circumvent the restrictions on play by any persons located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction or Restricted Jurisdiction, is a breach of this Agreement. An attempt at circumvention includes, but is not limited to, manipulating the information used by Stake to identify your location and providing Stake with false or misleading information regarding your location or place of residence.
6. KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER (“KYC”)
Stake reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a User. Stake reserves the right to restrict service and payment until identity is sufficiently determined.
This is the same with stake.com
If you are from one of those banned countries, they don't want you as a customer on their website.
In other words, being not compatible with TOR is not a bug, it is a feature.
Don' t blame the casino, blame the authorities for forcing KYC down to (y)our throats. You can prefer to play on the Decentralized Casinos too.
