Donald Trump is first and foremost a businessman. I am sure that he has been earning on cryptocurrency for a long time. Just using workforce, hiring understand this people. And what he writes there in his Twitter, only HYIP, no more.

If you base your finances on what a complete moron like Trump thinks, then you might as well just burn all your money in a pile. 

I am not at all surprised by those tweets made by trump. Of course he is not going to like bitcoin or other crypto currencies. The  funny part is were he emphasizes that the only real currency is the  fiat USD and is very strong.
All these tweets made by Trump is actually going to temporarily affect the price of bittcoin and other crypto currencies.

This is close enough to get some merits.

they back their money with guns and weapons .

Their money can and has and will be used for criminal activity .

Facebook and every pos coin in reality is acting like a bank and they have no real backing and should be 100% governed like banks are.  Since nothing backs the pos coin.

POW coins such as bitcoin are backed by gear burning power.

They all have real value that can be measured.  BTC has the most hash and most gear mining it.

That value is real and  tangible .  Anyone that fails to understand it or says they don't understand it fails to see what POW's best service is:  That is leveling off and helping all the world's power plants have no excess power that is wasted.

I consulted on a 100megawatt build the farm had deals with 5 power plants.  20-100 megawatt float at 4 cents a watt.  On a hot summer day they used 20 megawatts. On days with lots of rain and the hydroplanes have excess power they scaled up to 100 megawatts.  So the power plants never had to shunt excess power into waste product when river flow was high and demand was low.

This is real true value world wide.  Much like a hammer has real value to attach wood with nails.

Both a hammer and mining gear can be used to do  good or bad.
Both fiat/money and BTC  can or good or bad.

 Trumps and all world-wide governments realize pos coins are a real threat to banking and eventually will force every pos coin to turn into a bank-like company or die.

And pow coins are recognized for what they are: a tool to balance supply and demand for power  from power plants.

Yeah both can move money around just like a bank can.

BUT only pow coins have an industrial value while POS coins simply are wanna be banks riding the pow's real work ethics of iron , steel and power.

I think that the United States government does not negatively relate to the cryptocurrency market, and all the statements of Donald Trump can be ignored, because they are not official.  If any official makes an official statement, then there will be real actions, but we do not see any negative actions regarding cryptocurrency.  Especially in some States of America, the senates passed laws regarding the recognition of cryptocurrency as digital securities.

So many threads about Bitcoin and Donald Trump appeared. I don't know why people pay so much attention to that, his statements about Bitcoin are not relevant. Besides he changes his attitude so often that is actually very hard to tell what he thinks.
And it's necessary to make a difference between his attitude and official opinion of US administration about cryptocurrencies because this is not the same thing.

I'm not entirely sure him tweeting about it raised the price. BTC has been trading in the same channel since April. As long as we hold above 10.2kish  then it stays inside that channel.  Sure he just introduced the word Bitcoin to 60 million people, but he also likely convinced half of his base that it is for criminals and the dark web. Bitcoin is going to have to get out of that category and that tweet isn't helping any. Normally I'd shrug it off and say "any press is good press" but that honestly isn't true, if bad press attracts new people then those aren't the people you want.

Trump's tweets has not created a FUD but has increased BTC's price by a little. The news are calling it as the Trump Pump.

Also, I would like to say that predictions are not to be taken seriously. Predictions in crypto are just like guessing numbers.
The one who guesses it right is then praised by thousands.

So, did anyone expected that Trump can say something positive about Bitcoin? But this tweet is typical FUD from person who knows nothing about Bitcoin. Drugs trade, other illegal activity - probably my neighbour or random guy on street would say similar things which already been used to spread FUD about Bitcoin thousands times. But actually US Dollar are used for illegal things at much bigger scale than Bitcoin - these two currencies even can't be compared in terms of illegal use. It's sad to see such stupid thoughts comind from leader of most powerful country of the world. But one the other hand it's not first and not last time when Trump tweet something stupid - it's already common thing.

Overall it's free advertisment for bitcoin. More people now will research for it. It didn't affect that much to people as bitcoin's price still holds above $11k usd. Maybe US government see now bitcoin as a threat so they are trying to eliminate it by spreading those fuds.

I don't think a lot of educated people from the USA do truly believe anything he is saying / talking about. Not to mention all the people from outside of the USA..
If educated people support him, it is because of their own interests. Not because they truly believe he is competent.

Anyone whose money is at risk (i.e. FIAT-rich people), need to do anything they can to preserve the value of their money. And this includes keeping anything which does interfere with their plan low.
You will never hear anyone of them saying that BTC is the new currency / highlighting any positive sides of BTC.


I honestly couldn't care less what people - who need to preserve the value of FIAT - say about BTC.
In the long run, BTC will go up and USD (or any other FIAT) will go down. I don't care about spikes created by FUD and 'fake news'.

You also have to understand that it is his job to defend the U.S. Dollar so we can give him a break on that.

About the thin air part i strongly disagree and he obviously knows how money works. But if your job is to substantially increase the value of the currency made in your developed country then you better be creative with the nice tricks you're going to use of course. Precisely what he is doing.

Some will argue that those are wrong decisions but i don't think they are. I agree partially with it but that is nice for us because of the advertising.

But the good thing is, after that tweet, the price remains above $11,000, signalling that not even the President of the United States can sway the price negatively. And it's about time though to hear what side his in, at least we all know by now that Donald Trump is not a fan of Bitcoin. He surrounded himself with so called crypto enthusiast, but at the end of the day, he has his own opinion, but it doesn't matter at all. And it might be his downfall, as a lot of crypto friendly individuals are eyeing that position.  

Trump would love to get his hand on HST decision token, its used for voting on the blockchain, the voting results are instant and cannot be hacked or rigged...that way the Russian couldn't possibly meddle with the upcoming 2020 election now could they?

I think we went through that process a bit If they eliminate some SEC-related problems in the US, a lot of people will turn to cryptocurrency instead of FIAT

Even they cannot reflect on themselves that there are still mistakes made, but want to drop others with their same mistakes. Sounding cunning indeed, I was not surprised if indeed trump sent a tweet like that because basically he was cunning.

I think it's him. The potus must have been pressured by his "peers" in the business community since all their previous fuds are no longer working. It was actually good to see another known figure to talk about crypto even if it was in negative terms. Crypto is going to be the hot topic again in mainstream media.
