The most likely reasons for this is because the goverment doesnt have much if any data on aliens, They might have some ufo sightings/strange reports from airforce personnel but probably nothing as concrete as what you might see on tv about area 51 etc. The uk goverment gave access to their alien/ufo documents some years ago and although there were some interesting reads it was all mostly boring sightings that could be anything and in this day and age when everyone and their dog has multirotors then the sightings are only going to go up.

Guaranteed 99% of all reports that the goverment have classified is because its jets or aircraft that are top secret but nothing that would blow your socks off.

Have they visited earth? Probably not. If faster than light travel is not possible, then they never will.

Theoretically there are other forms of transportation that moving from point A to point B in Euclidean space.
How about cross dimension travels, bending time and space and using wormholes as gateways?
Just because for us the fastest known way of traveling is reaching speed of light proves nothing.

Interestingly, there are already at least a theoretical knowledge about the technologies that would enable such a way puteshevstvovat and explore the cosmos. Perhaps what is stored in the area 51 will give many answers to many questions.

Very serious topic to discuss today about a world government and it is not without the aliens. Of course it sounds funny, but if you think about it, it becomes a little scary because of the feeling that we are all puppets and guide us. Well he may be talking about other kinds of aliens here. For sure trump doesn't consider extraterrestrials as the only aliens around. That's the reason why he's planning on building a stupid freaking wall and letting he american tax payers pay for it.

At the expense of the wall, he certainly got excited. I see that it was not the popular decision greeted with indignation not only people but also rank officials. And to lead this man obviously does not know how. The government has not yet formed, and this is the first such case in the history of the White House.
