I'm pretty sure every single president would get to know about wether they exist or not. part of the job I guess. However, I don't think current presidents have that much power and control. They're rather controlled by higher-ups from some of the "families".

Well its very possible there friend that idea of yours because the government in the US has many secrets in hand so if they really need to have financial support on experimenting a alien they need a financial support from the president so its a secret but i really hope that if that is true i hope that trump will post in media that aliens are real and i mean i believe in aliens look at us we can't be the ones who live here on the universe we exist here so there is a main source of this and look at the pyramids people don't have any math but they really build a perfect copy from the stone they made and the mixing to make that stone it really is uhuman and also they don't even have the technology to support the large bricks that is heavy >.<

There are many supernatural occurrence in this world and many strange phenomena. The universe is vast and another life may exist. And what to say nothing of those things, when there is information that not only the citizens of their respective countries, but government guided by someone or something, I do not know what, but it seems that there is a world government from which it depends. I believe that would be my only reason for running for a president in US, I'd take some actually good vice president and my slogan would be "Fuck it, im in for the alien secrets" and then I'd just quit. :d
One issue candidate. Larry lessig did something like that. But in his case he would get money out of politics if he won. Then quit and let his vice president in charge.

I know right, the common argument is that it would take too long for them to get here. Yet we already have theories of bending space time to move our ships at FTL. I'm sure an alien race that has had a head start compared to us has made this theory a reality.
Those theories may not work in practice. For example the alcubierre drive could let us move faster than light. But it may not be possible to build it. The drive needs a type of exotic matter that may not exist. And the theory may stop making sense as we learn more about quantum gravity. On the other hand ftl may not be needed for aliens to visit us. The long travel times can be handled better by robotic explorers. Or generational ships for example.
