This is great advice RE your personal savings account where you keep the bulk of your coins.

But for day to day transactions you'd give your self a heart attack.

Just think of it like you do with your wallet vs your bank. Your wallet is convenient and holds a reasonable sum of currency for day to day activities while your bank has a giant safe and guards and whatever else for security measures and you can be fairly sure your funds will be safe there. (Not counting the evil bankers themselves, but that's for another post).

I still follow this thread, because it makes me feel good to see people reading my post and hopefully avoiding losing their coins as a result. I don't know if anybody else does though Smiley

It is an important post. An oldie but a goodie. Still rings true to this day.
