What's special with Asian sportsbook?

I mean if you like to gamble you can choose from different sportsbook in the forum, you can seek information int he gambling section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0)... Man, there's  a lot of competitive sportsbook in the forum, I don't think you'll not get the same fun you are looking if nothing is stopping your from accessing the sites here.

I think the reason for OP's friend looking for an Asian sportsbook was probably because Asian sportsbooks might be catering to their local sports or local teams that aren't available in other popular sportsbooks.

Depending on what kind of sportsbook.. I guess we have plenty of sportsbook here that are catering asian games.
I've seen some Asian games like China and Korea League in cloudbet, and I think even sportsbet.

To OP, can you post a specific game or games you are looking?

Why do you want to target a region related sportsbook? I mean we all use Cryptocurrency and all the sportsbook accepting BTC, LTC, ETH will work fine in your region.
That's the whole point of adding crypto-currency in the websites so your users can pay without worrying about tax or fees or limitations.

I do not see the link with Asia in this way. If you gamble with crypto, you want to be anonymous usually. Without all the kyc procedures. So what does it matter where it is based? I am not sure if it is allowed in Asia to gamble, but you should have plenty of options to join sites.

Have you tried or heard about https://smarkets.com/

yep I heard about it last year but sadly can't do payments with them since I don't have their payment methods
I mainly want betfair for horse racing , that's what I was mainly using it for since for other sports I can find similar prices with bitcoin books but for horse racing that's kinda impossible for now

orbit was really good , but the stories I hear in other forums made me really super cautious with them

I never used orbitx but betinasia black (a copy of https://www.sportmarket.com/ or the way around not really sure - the interface is same but with different colors) doing value bets on a very small market, so the traders know exactly what's happening. Wagered more than 100k and never got any problem on it. I did use Fiat currencies not crypto so for that I don't have a direct experience but I'd assume that if my account would be limited or something similar then would be the same with crypto as they consider it a method of payment nothing more.

thanks a lot for sharing your experience , I have access to simillar one through asainconnect but still looking for a betfair alternative with reasonable fee
so far it seems orbit does that to all players across all the brokers so would be nice to find a broker that has another version of betfair

My pleasure in helping you out. Much appreciated the merits!!!

Have you tried or heard about https://smarkets.com/ ? This is the alternative you were looking for (maybe?) they do not have crypto

Here is a list of countries that they do not accept players from:

Persons who are residents of; or persons who are located in countries where betting with Smarkets is prohibited (including, but not necessarily limited to Australia, France, Hong Kong, Switzerland, China, South Africa, Denmark, Czech Republic, Belgium, Turkey, the United States, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan); cannot register as account holders with Smarkets. Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with. There is one book that still hasn't replied concerning a problem with a player. If there isn't a reply, this is going to hurt the book. That said, this thread isn't going to used for arbitration since it's a no win situation.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

A friend had asked me recently about it and I honestly had no idea about it. Does anyone know any? If yes, Plz respond below. TIA
I think it'd be better to specify your request so it can be narrowed down... There's countries with interest in footbal in Asia, there's countries with interest in cricket... And then there's vastly different regions
What's the goal here even? Find a website where people located in Asia will be allowed to bet? Or find a website where Asian leagues can be bet on.

Nitrogen and Betcoin are the best and both are trustworthy. Here's a full list.
-snip-
Thanks for the list. Where does this rating originate from? Your own criteria?

The ratings come from this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.3460

It also includes ratings from a total of 4 rating sites at BCT. Nitrogen is ranked #1 in all guides. Betcoin is #2 if averaged.

Have you tried https://betinasia.com/ "Asian brokerage and betting services" that's how they call themselves.
Also recently they introduce crypto so I think your friend would be happy trying it.

It doesn't limit you if you do betting professionally as far as I know from my experience

do you use the site ? I haven't tried yet but would be good to know how do they treat their profitable bettors with their exchange
I know it sounds silly but there are many bad stories in Asianconnect with orbitx , once they see a player is profitable they will raise the fee and they may even go further by freezing the money and making some silly accusations

Could you ask your friend why he wants a sport book from that continent? I mean when we are gambling online very few people care about where the casino they are playing is located, they care about the welcome offers, whether they have to go through KYC, the house edge and the interface of the website itself.

So I find odd that someone cares about such a thing when it is not really important and this is especially true in the world of cryptocurrencies as you can use your money all over the word without any problem and most reputable casinos will take the time to accommodate their players and resolve any doubts they may have.

Never thought that some sports betting site that I know are made Aisan crypto betting site. I was think why your friend is asking for it? Most of them are allowed in many countries so there shouldn't be a problem.
Well, you have a point there and you are right. OP did not comeback after created this thread, --there are too many of them and you can simply research on google. I don't want to recommend in OP, I just want to have his own research because in every gambling sportsbook site has pros and cons that we should know before using it and to avoid the possible problem in the future. You are looking trustworthy, but it seems all sportsbook makers certain different issues that are not good to trust. The solution is, deposit only a small amount that you can afford.

From what I know, Vietbet is the leader. Other popular names are bodog88, 22bet, interlops, betonline.ag - known for their massive welcome bonuses, pinnacle which is famous for high betting limits.

Unfortunately, none of these are particularly high in trustworthiness due to the language barier between the populace that use these sites versus us or rest of the world. You just have to be a little savvy and street smart when dealing with them.

I'd also recommend checking out Nitrogen if you're looking for e-sports, I've used them a few times and never had an issue.

The only asian based crypto sportsbook i've heard so far is asianconnect.

I remember SyGambler and a few others mentioned using it but I never tried them yet since i'm satisfied with the bookies I use.

yeah it's kinda the most popular Asian broker , but still not sure if OP is looking for Asian broker or simple a site that accepts Asians ( since afaik all bitcoin books accept Asian countries )

anyway I haven't used it for long time so I'm not sure how it's now , maybe better maybe worse
it's always worth it to check SBR forums since the members their use these Asian brokers daily and discuss their experiences there , last time I checked there were few complaints against one of the exchanges that AC88 offers but haven't followed the news after
