Eth, I don't really like Justin after the steem fiasco.
If you want to invest long term, I think it's okay if you choose both, But if you want to choose one of them, I think ETH is better than TRX. We will see the next Ethereum roadmap is they will release the Ethereum 2.0 platform So I believe the ETH price will increase drastically after the release.
Right, ETH is still better than TRX even though Justin continues develop his project very well until now. But the Crypto public will definitely choose Ethereum because they are like the second mother for Altcoins, after Bitcoin. As for long term Investment, Yeah I agree with you, both are potential coins.

At the moment it is clear that ETH has a huge advantage over TRX, and Vitalik is an experienced and trustworthy developer. Although ETH is struggling as ICOs crash and the delay of the 2.0 launch, ETH is still a coin that is far more appreciated than TRX.
Yes, the trend seems to be Ethereum than TRX, but unfortunately, ethereum now becomes too high to buy 1 ethereum. So if he doesn't have much money, maybe he can buy TRX and trade it with another pair to make more profit. Once his profit bigger, he can buy ethereum or even he can buy bitcoin as his investment.Both coins I think are good and are used by many platforms. But if I had to choose, I think I would prefer Ethereum because it already has a bigger market cap and is better known by big investors. Also, many people believe Ethereum is the king of altcoins
It depends on how much money he has because he doesn't have to force himself to buy ethereum if he doesn't have much money. TRX will be good for him as the price is not too expensive. 
both of them have a big potential in the near future. but for now i choosed ETH, even i invested some of my money on TRX, tho. and i'm really sure most of members here will also choose ETH as their investment. there are still a lot of tokens that based on ETH too, i think it will affect the ETH price too. also ETH have some innovations for their project in the near future, such as they just did the final testnet for ethereum 2.0. we need to wait for it fully launch, and see what happen with ETH.
In my opinion, both of them will be good in the future, but if you look at the current ethereum, it is more of a place to invest because ethereum has been popular for a long time and ethereum is also the king of altcoins
This much more into the technical reason rather than try to way if ethereum gets more demand caused by it's king of altcoins. it sounds really strange but if you are mentioning the advantages that owned by ethereum rather tron and that makes sense.

ETH - more popular and longer on the market. TRX has more signs of a ponzi, some people even call it a scam due to its semi-centralized structure. ETH on the other hand is decentralized. I don't trust centralized coins and not going to touch semi-centralized either.
While Vitalik is a weird genius, Justin is a PR guy. He throws money around and thinks that if he spends enough money on ads they will bring back even more in revenue. I'd be afraid that one day he says fuck it and bails with all the profits.

But as you can see ETH has always been a wild one always have a huge move but I wouldn't deny that ETH also have a huge dump but it always have it's way to climb up.

They are both two good investment, at the moment eth is performing good but i also have some trx in my portfolio. I believe in justin sun and his marketing. With eth 2.0 we will see an increasing of investors
I go with that, with Sun he will not allow he's coin to be left behind, there's a big chance that this coin will go and rise after
Eth gained more value with this expected ETH 2.0.
More interesting if how Sun will work to also gain the same interest from the inventors. Hold some if you have spare money to invest.
In my opinion, the Ethereum is the best, and I invest 60% of my money in it. It is one of the highest currencies in the crypto market after Bitcoin in terms of market value, and this year has witnessed a significant increase in the price of Ethereum, which led to giving holders good profits. I don't prefer Trx, but its value may increase if large projects succeed on the Tron platform in the future. We can invest part of it and hold it for the long term.
I'm not a fan of the hype that often occurs in the crypto space. To be a good cryptoneur, you should find interest in researching. Now back to your question, check out the both projects and discern which catch your attention most. Then this feeling could impact your investment decisions on these two blockchains. Although for me personally both of them are good ones that I can't do without having them in my portfolio at any instance. You can always convert from one altcoin to another, for example from ETH to Trx, BTC to USDT, etc on https://changenow.io, that's what I use frequently and enjoy doing since I don't like keeping my crypto assets on any centralized exchange.

I'll go for eth because it is trusted and already proven to be a profitable investment specially for long period holding. Trx on the other side is not bad as well but I prefer eth when it comes to alts investment. If you're confuse you can choose both because diversifying is best in anyway.
ETH is the leader in altcoins space, and it is like a must for me as well in my portfolio. Though for short time I would consider even TRX as well since in recent past have seen the trade and project as well and seems to me that it could hold a small ratio in the portfolio. Though the choices would be different for everyone, but I do consider this as well for now.

Trx is simply greater than 95% of cryptos (and crypto related companies) out there, but as I said I think Ethereum is included in those 5%

I also haven't seen too many successful new projects running on TRON's platform, I recently saw the Oikos project. They are the first Defi project to run on the TRON platform and everything is very novel. Although there are many FUDs on this project they are still doing well and the price is going up every day

Both developers have a different personality, but when it comes to who has the edge over the other Ethereum is still ahead they are the most supported and they have the most solid community, volume, and prices also have a huge difference it will take a lot for Tron to inch their way closer to Ethereum, who is still very solid in the second spot.
ETH has better hype at the moment, and ETH's liquidity is also much greater. So invest in it to make a profit from it, I bought ETH at $ 245 and still hold it until now. TRX is also a good option, but it takes a long time to make a profit

Although tron is accused to copy some parts of ethereum whitepaper and also the project aims to provide similar products as ethereum network and to give it some competition but even now Ethereum is way forward in all aspects as compared to tron and my choice is ethereum but tron is a great and high potential project and if you are talking in the prospect of investing i think both are good to get and hold and im expecting multiple times gains in both these coins over mid terk range. I will choose ETH at the present time, most of the Defi projects run on the ETH platform, so it has helped the price of ETH go up 400 $ at the present time, and until the end of the year I believe the price of ETH will be able to reach 600 $, so do your research and don't miss your chance Vitalik and Justin work hard to make their coins better too so i am not sure which one could be better in the future.What do You think about this ?

Kehindem you are right, consider both! I have both! When you invest in Ethereum save something for Tron, it's what I do
with all my investments, I diversify. And Ethereum is expensive, while Tron is cheap, why not buy some cheap Trons now
and then.
Ethereum has a better performance on the crypto-market, and I think that Tron will make some progress in near future.
I am holding both, I am in for the long-term!
