Well that's a good way. Whenever I feel down I think that I am just a bunch of electrons, protons and neutrons and it calms me down because it's kind of truth and the whole society is nothing but a bunch of electrons, protons and neutrons and basically everything and everyone is dead. My feelings, my happiness, my depression are only neuron vibrations in my brain.  Grin

Hi there I am going to give you my mantra for coping with depression.
Whenever I feel depressed about something, (a loss in trading/gambling, a bad river in poker, any missed opportunity, my impulsive irrational behavior which could have been easily avoided etc) I think of  'Evolution'  . I contemplate about how long it took for us to get here and do whatever we are doing in our life. I think of difficulties we had to overcome for just survival sake, over millions of years. How we develop our senses, our consciousness over the period of millions of years. Then I compare my recent problem with that, and guess what I usually laugh after this comparison.

I do something of the same.
I use comparison with other difficulties that have come to me through my life and I think of those how big they were and how small could be the loss that I have suffered from my gambling activities. After that I feel more relieved and I get rid of my depression and anxiety.

^^^ The medical has shown in studies that placebo effect heals, say, 30% of people. Because they were believing that they were getting healing medicine, they healed themselves.

This means that prayer, if it is believed in, can heal way better than medicine. Remember, medicine only stimlates the body to heal itself, anyway.

On top of that, if people are healed from placebo effect, just think of how great their healing will be when God steps in and heals them, because they trust in Him, and ask Him to heal them.

Cool

Placebo effect actually works. I agree to this. I personally experience depression. I had my first depression attack when I had a failing grade in school. I became so depressed to the point that I was questioning myself If I'm still worthy of living. Luckily, a friend of mine told me that doing a certain morning routine which we found on the internet can lessen your depression but it indicates that you have to believe that you will overcome depression because the morning routine will not work if you don't do that. After weeks of doing the morning routine, I felt better as I had a few depression attacks as compared to before when I was experiencing severe depression. I just believed that I will overcome it and eventually I was able to overcome it. In conclusion, always believe in yourself.

Whenever you feel depressed just take a break, life is short so don't complicate it with different and complex things. Not everyone can do everything in this world, everyone is unique on their own way.

We can get over what ever trouble we are in including this pandemic, because we have evolve into a survivor in this planet, we have developed a survival instinct and it's inherent among us and we will continue to evolve as a survivor whatever trouble we have just pray, prayer is powerful and brings out the power within us.

Much of the rampant depression around, was induced by getting all those vaccines in early life. Depression medicine only helps for a short while. Then it actually makes conditions worse.

The best thing to do is talk to a nutritionist - several of them - and get on the right diet... a diet that is loaded with vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin B12 is great for stabilizing the brain/mind, when taken in reasonably high amounts for B12. Methyl B12, and coenzyme B12, are a couple of B12 forms that are better than simple vitamin B12. But, it will take time... like a half year. So, be patient and keep it up.

They make sublingual B12 that is tasty, these days.

This is a delicate topic and as much as I want, I don't want to see someone who's experiencing it.

IMHO.

Anything that you do and helps you to fight depression in your own way is good.

Depression is selfishness with a bias towards negativity. When you realize that a huge number of people are suffering in the world right now, that something bad is happening right now, then you simply will not have a reason for self-humiliation, because you need to help others. I mean that depression is only in our minds. Do not listen to this stream of thoughts, remember what you like and strive for it and everything will work out.
I have heard of the same opinion about depression.

But for me, this is a serious thing and we can never know how tough or soft the person dealing with it and how he/she goes handles the suffering mentally.

Depression that appears after a bad deal in the market or a loss in the casino is launched by your brain in order to cause you negative emotions from the experience. In this way, the body protects itself. If you can accept that each trade can not be profitable then the depression will not appear when you lose.

The kind of people is at least 14 billion years old. It is not true that we had evolution, and that we used to be monkeys. I know enough about this topic to talk about it. At different times, we had different opportunities. But over the past few thousand years, we have been degrading. You will find all this fantastic, but I would not talk about it if I had not studied this topic well.
