To be honest, I really didn't expect Galatasaray to succeed this season by winning the Turkish Super Lig title because, in the previous season, Glatasaray had only struggled to escape the relegation zone. Wow, that was a really great quick change because if for example Galatasaray could recover this season as well, but because the previous season was so messed up then at least Galatasaray won't be as successful as they are now with the title. I don't know what big changes Galatasaray managed to make but yes, after all, congratulations to Galatasaray for being able to give a big surprise last season and this season.
And finally champion is determined in Turkish league and it is Galatasaray. Well we can safely say Galatasaray totally deserved to be champion this year. They had best squad, their gameplay was generally enjoyable, and they had less issues than their opponents. I think breaking win record made them focus on title a lot. Fenerbahçe was definitely lot better than last years this season BUT Galatasaray deserved just a bit more.

However, Fenerbahçe lost points in several important matches. They were defeated by Besiktas. They are unable to occupy the top spot in the table due to dropping points in important matches. Galatasaray became the champion after the match that played today! The prediction I made in the comment and poll I mentioned earlier turned out to be correct in this direction. This result can be interpreted as meeting some expectations, especially since the performance was quite good in this season. There is a derby match with Fenerbahçe next week and I don't think that the championship will have an effect on this derby. In my opinion, Galatasaray will again show a very good performance and will play with all their strength to win this derby. I am thinking of betting for this match, which I expect to be quite exciting, and if I am not mistaken in my predictions, Galatasaray will be the winner of this match. As I have said earlier, there is really nothing to be shocked about this, teams do become champions here and there, we were terrible last year, better this year, won the title and hurray etc etc. But we have a HUGE problem ahead that nobody talks about too much, we are going to lose so many important players, I said this on the turkish section too, if we lose them all and not get proper replacements, we are going to be screwed big time. Not only we would be getting a ton of money for such great players and then waste that money on terrible players, but we would not have a chance to recover next time neither. As a GS fan, I am not that happy, championships happen, that's not something to celebrate that easily, I need to see a fundamental change that has a great long term success, we need to be consistently good at europe, otherwise just these titles means nothing. When was the last time we were in group stages of UCL back to back in 2 years? I can't really remember, without that, none of these titles means anything.

Galatasarays transfers this season were perfect and they won the title easily in the end. They will look really good next season if they keep the same team. They might even do some big things in europe next season. Too bad for the earthquake it would have made the things in the league much more intresting.

On paper yeah Ankaragucu are definitely a comfortable opponent for Galatasaray. Ankaragucu's effort was worth watching in the Turkish Cup semi finals but it wasn't still enough to eliminate Basaksehir. I think their morale won't be up as much as that match. Galatasaray must be able to take advantage of the weaknesses of their opponent to seal the deal finally.
We are going to see Galatasaray and Fenerbahce starting to play at the same time. We will experience a nice level of excitement for certain. Tomorrow the title race might come to an end if galatasaray team manage to get atleast one point against ankaragucu which they can easily do, it seems that its an almost impossible task for fenerbahce to be champion they made some mistakes throught the season and they payed for it, a lot of easy points wasted this seson.
I still believe that tomorrows game will be an easy one, its going to be easy to score, maybe our defense could have some tough time because they are good at counter attacking but our offense will easily score. If we somehow fail to win, then I am pretty sure that Fener will get the last game. I just think that after such a long season and having a "not so good" start, we did alright but we did good for way too long, so its about time that the players are tired and we are not doing that well. Which is why either we win tomorrow, or I do not see how we can become champions. Good side of this is that I am %99 sure that we will be winning easily tomorrow, its not a tough opponent, easy bet for me without a doubt. Surely there is a small chance we can shock the world and lose, but I think that's a very low possibility.
Ankaragucu doesn't look like the type of team that can win this game. They are decent, they played well in the cup and I agree that they are not going to be dominated that easily, but they are not good enough to win. Galatasaray most likely will end up getting 3 points, or at least that's what I am betting on, and they will guarantee their championship with that game as well, not going to be that tough for them to get that win.

I don't think Galatasaray will have a hard time. They easily pass a weak team like Ankaragücü and declare their championship. This is not unexpected. They will be a full squad in the match, they have no shortcomings. If Fenerbahçe had not drawn with Giresunspor, they would have had a chance. They will return to Istanbul and continue the celebrations in the Nef Stadium. If this really happens, I don't see any chance for a Fenerbahce win this sunday. We might see a lot fighting like the old times that this kind of game happened, after the champion was already decided.
Trabzonspor defeated Karagümrükspor 4-1. To be honest, I did not expect such a win from Trabzonspor. They had a very bad performance last week against Fenerbahçe. But this week, they got a very comfortable win with good performance. Last year, Trabzonspor was the champion team, but this year both the coach and their presidents are quit.
