Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray have opened a really nice gap with Beşiktaş for now. But we still have so many matches left in the season. You know that the balances can change very much in this league in even only a few weeks.  Smiley  For example, Şenol Güneş is a big hope for Beşiktaş fans now to get better. Maybe they might catch up with the Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray duo thanks to his strategies.

Basics are far behind. Besiktas are 7 points ahead of Fenerbahce. It will be very difficult for Besiktas to close this 7-point gap. Because their performance is very erratic. And so I think only Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe will fight for the Super Lig title this season. But if Besiktas participates in the title fight, this season will become more enjoyable and competitive.

I don't think that this is a season for any smaller team to win the Super League title. It is most likely that we will see one of the biggest teams of the league will make it. It looks like the champion will be one of the Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray - Beşiktaş trio this time. Trabzonspor are far away from their look in the previous season. Their effort has dropped down too much in one season but they must still be happy about that extraordinary season for them.

There have been reports that Beşiktaş is interested in Takuma Asano, who showed a very good performance in the match between Japan and Germany. I heard that Beşiktaş allocated a transfer budget of 3 million euros to acquire this player. When we look at his performance in that match, it can be a very useful transfer for Beşiktaş.
This player can make it easier for the team to score goals and be a good pick to be champion in the league
I am not sure about Asian players in the Super League. There were of course good players that contributed a lot like Kim Min Jae but usually forwards are not used to this kind of physical leagues and struggle in the Super League. I also don't think they bring anything economically, I mean the interest from Asian market. There can be a slight interest from the fans but it is not a big deal.

On the subject of Besiktas, the coach Şenol Güneş made important statements to the media:
Quote
“The player we can compare to Mario Gomez is Dele Alli. He was playing for the England national team but could rise again while he's hit rock bottom. If he takes one step towards me, I will take three to him. We can have contributions from him again. However, if it continues as it is, there is nothing to talk about.”

I find this important because as seen by everyone, Dele Alli does not play good and hardly contribute at all. Senol Gunes publicly recognise this. I wish for everyone's sake, Besiktas and even the Turkish football in general, Dele Alli takes the hint and just work more and play better. We can say he indeed hit rock bottom. But if he plays like the elite player as his potential, it could be crucial for Besiktas's road to title.

I don't think Adana Demirspor will stay there for long. Konyaspor and Başakşehir are the teams that have assimilated these lines and are always here. When Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor start to rise, the ranking will be reshaped. I think teams that have not been champions before don't have a chance this season. Fenerbahçe seems close at the moment but we need to see how they will bounce back after the World Cup. Everything we say about which team will be champion until at least week 30 in the league is a story. Everyone who follows this league knows that the championship is a knot that has only been untied in the last 7-8 weeks.

 Grin

in recent times I have seen even small teams surprise, while the league doesn't finish or even until some team has an advantage of more than 15 points in relation to the second place and considers itself champion, so there is still a chance for these 3 teams to be champions , because what has happened is that the big teams can start to lose points and those teams that don't even have a chance are lucky to win some games and be champions, that is still possible, of course we all know that big teams with financial resources have players of high quality and for that reason they dominate the league and have a greater chance of being champions, but they can also be unlucky to lose points, I'm rooting for Fenerbahçe to be champions

There is about 1 month until the start of the winter transfer window. Teams need to shape their transfer lists already.

in my opinion teams that are doing well now should avoid hiring more players and then run the risk of starting to drop in performance due to the fact that the new player does not suit the team's strategy, this thing of buying players should be a last resort when a team is not well or needs a substitute player, but if a team is well? you don't need to hire more players, what I've seen is that good teams hire players and then start playing badly

In other words, we are entering a period when we will hear similar news frequently. Takuma Asano has Arsenal experience in his career. He is a talented football player. Strikers in his style are effective in the Turkish League. In addition, if this transfer takes place, Japanese fans may be interested in Beşiktaş. Because football is a huge industry and the Asian market is a niche area for Turkish clubs. This transfer not only brings a good football player but also opens up a space for cultural exchange. I have to admit that this transfer news is interesting.

It will be a really good incentive especially for the turkish teams they wil surely measure the evel they are in and they might improve from this experience its like playing in a european tournament i wonder if this will become seasonal it will be a really good tournament to see.

Probably, it will be a short tournament that will be organized only once. Since this tournament is a kind of friendly match, the teams may not play the full squad, but we can watch enjoyable matches. There couldn't have been a better way to make up for the break in the league. Smiley I think other leagues can create similar tournaments. The World Cup will last for 1 month; we can say that this is a long time... Smiley
you are right, the world cup will last for a month so a friendly match like this is very important in order to maintain the fitness of the players

if there is a betting site that provides bets for these four teams then I think it will be very interesting, I will choose Galatasaray and Fenerbahce to win in that friendly match

Mathematically, there are 8 teams who have 22 points or more and who have chance at the title(theoretically and in reality). Two of them have played 14 games, rest have played 13 games. Ok, we can say Galatasaray(with 27 points at the second place) and Fenerbahçe(with 29 points at the top of the league) have the highest chance to win the title, naturally, but from rest of those at the top 8, I don't think more than two teams can carry the pressure until the end. Adanaspor, Konyaspor, Kayserispor and Basaksehir just don't have good enough rosters to have a big and surprising success this season and the big clubs are already doing great. People who knows this league can tell, in my opinion. They are not just strong enough. Trabzonspor had a huge success last year and still they have potential to play good and have a chance at the title. Besiktas is a mistery. Will Senol Gunes make the desired contribution to make Besiktas a contender again? It is hard to say. One thing is obvious to me, this year will not going to be a year which Anatolian teams can become champions(except Trabzonspor). The big clubs are too good to let that happen.

A tournament is organized with La Liga teams to evaluate the break due to the World Cup. According to the statement of the Kulüpler Birliği (https://twitter.com/kulupler/status/1592563805267316737), Rayo Vallecano and Villareal FC from Spain will participate in the tournament, while Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray from Turkey will participate. It will be a short tournament, but it will be a good opportunity to see the difference in quality between the Spanish La Liga and the Turkish Super League. I know some football players will be in the World Cup. For example, Enner Valencia from Fenerbahçe will be in the national team of Ecuador, but this tournament can be a reference for us...

It's funny to think that a team that has not been champion for 8 seasons and the other team that has not been champion for 3 seasons are the only ones in the race. Anyone following the league would never make such a comment. In order to say that 3 different teams that won the last 3 seasons didn't have a chance this year, it's only necessary to look at the standings and comment. But you are also free in your thoughts. We will see which teams will stay in the race at the end of the season.

Adana
Konyaspor
Istanbul

has 24 points, and the leader in the table has 29 points that means that these 3 teams still have many chances of being champions, this time the league is very competitive, the distance of points is still not great which allows at least 5 teams still have a chance of being champions, Fenerbahçe have a greater chance of being champions, Adana is also a good team, they have the potential to go far, as long as they don't lose points in the remaining games, Istanbul is what I don't think will go far, they are unstable

Let's see if Galatasaray, which they said will be nothing from this team until 2 weeks ago, will be here?

in the last 3 games Galatasaray managed to have 3 consecutive victories, this is something positive, it may be that they manage to be champions, but this is something that I would not bet my money on and I am not a fan of them either. but the fact that they are only 2 points away from first place will motivate them to win games, they have a good chance of being champions

Fenerbahçe which is unable to become a champion for almost a decade, will be able to play well until the end of the season?

Fenerbahçe is the team I'm rooting for to be champions, they have a good coach and made good changes, if they hadn't lost points in this last game then they would have a good advantage over second place, but unfortunately they lost points and that's it made it only 2 points with second place, which is not good, because if Fenerbahçe loses in a game and Galatasaray wins in a game, then Galatasaray will be in first place, and it is a very close situation for Fenerbahçe and with this break for because of the world cup maybe Fenerbahçe will come back but not have as much strength as before the break

When you watch from afar, it is easy to distinguish all the teams. If I was a fan of any team there, I would hope that my team would be good too, but I am not, and I only gamble there and I can see the games and the results, so I can easily say objectively that it's either FB or GS that will win the title and nobody else has the chance.
If you think other teams have the chance then you can believe what you want to believe, but looking at the quality of the teams and how they are playing, it is very clear to every non-Turkish league fan and follower that there are only 2 teams who have played amazingly all season and has the chance to win very much so, because they are so much better.

What have we witnessed and experienced in this league all these years. It's not clear who will be champion until April.
This year, it will not be only different because there will be an advantageous World Cup brake, but already it is early in the season anyways. It is not so logical to make those two the only championship contenders. We have seen the teams other than big 3 became champions, but also there is Besiktas with their new coach. The roster of Besiktas is good on the paper anyway, with a good coach, they still have chance and opportunity to get the title. We cannot read this league so easily. Besiktas have become champions with even worse odds. And there are other Anatolian teams who still have chance.
I always talked about this in last 10 years. Turkish League evolved through time. In early 2000s Anatolian teams were generall nearly terrible because they were slaves of managers and they didn't understand how to do proper signing in transfer window. Now Anatolian team even with shittiest financial reality can sign some good South American and African players and hit jackpot. Also some Anatolian teams can do good signings like Adana Demirspor etc.

There was a really bad terrorist attack in Türkiye. It is very normal for the match to be postponed, as such an event took place so close to the stadium just before the Beşiktaş match. Fun events in many parts of the country for a few days may also be cancelled. Of course, the negativities experienced because the match was postponed are also very sad

This is very sad. And if I'm not mistaken the terrorist attack happened in Istanbul. And it killed 6 people and injured about 81 people. And that's what's sad about Turkey. At the same time, I think they will suffer a lot as a result. Because Turkey earns a lot of money from tourists every year. And when Turkey's tourism was slowly getting back to normal after the coronavirus, one such attack happened in Istanbul. And as a result, Turkey will again lose a lot of visitors.

On paper, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are really the closest teams to the league title this season. But this is only depending on their recent statistics in the league. They both have a quite nice gap with Besiktas and Trabzonspor now. I don't add the teams in the middle into this chance because I don't expect any of them to maintain their claim for the title until the final weeks. It would most probably be between the biggest teams of the league as usual.

However I know also that it is still early to talk about exactly which team among these can make it to the title. We have left only 13 weeks in the season and there is a long way to go. By the way, Galatasaray are one of the best defense teams considering that they have conceded only 10 goals so far. But I still can't trust Abdulkerim Bardakci much in the defense line. It would be better to have a more reliable defender there. We have witnessed his mistakes already since he came here.

People reacting to just one week doesn't really see the whole picture. Just because Fener lost once, and GS had a great game against a big team, doesn't mean that after just one week GS is a better team, doesn't mean they were worse beforehand neither. These two teams are equally good, and they are playing equally good games as well, Fener even has more games to play which is harder for them, but at the end of the day they are equally good.

It means, one of them will be the champion, and I don't know which one, but that will not make the other one bad, just because you fail to get the championship doesn't mean you were bad, it means the other team was better, it still doesn't make you any lesser.
How do you know that one of these two teams will win the championship? There are at least 3 more ambitious teams competing for the championship. This season, the league will run for 36 weeks. There is such a long way to go that anything can happen at any moment. It's only been played for 13-14 weeks. Towards the end of the season, everything can change in an instant, so it would be a big mistake to speak early. We have seen what teams are said to be playing well, they suddenly fell out of the league. The teams that were at the top of the league at the beginning of the league regressed to the middle ranks. The league is a long marathon and the champion is often determined by small differences. It would be a big mistake to declare Fenerbahçe or Galatasaray champions as early as November.
