I was so proud of my team's performance against Basaksehir yesterday. Honestly I wasn't expecting even a win in that game. Because if I don't remember it wrong Basaksehir were at the second place in the league table. Maybe there was some inconsistency in their recent form but this was still a special game for them also. However Galatasaray just destroyed them with a 7-0 score. I've never seen Basaksehir defense this much horrible for a very long time. This win must give a huge boost to Galatasaray from now on.

Icardi and Akturkoglu were the most impressive players of course. Icardi is already a quality player. I was just hoping him to get accustomed to the team and the league quickly - and not to get injured quickly also. Grin

I'd have a heart attack if he became like Falcao.

They cut the internet here after an explosion in İstiklal Street, the most famous district of İstanbul. It was very close to Beşiktaş stadium, so they postponed the game. Fans were coming to stadium, after the postpone news people couldn't go to their homes. That was a total mess. Hope everything will be back to normal soon, we can't even access any social media site.
There were other matches in the league that were already started so they finished games. İstanbulspor played their game in Esenyurt, which is outside of city center so they didn't get affected. İstanbulspor lost their game but that was kinda expected. Now we wonder when Beşiktaş - Antalyaspor game will be played.

Its performance at Fenerbahçe this season has surprised everyone. Fenerbahçe's players have continued to perform consistently well. It was a really bad day for Fenerbahçe. They got another red card and it was a really unnecessary one by Joao Pedro. Of course he didn't do it on purpose but that kick deserved the second yellow I'm afraid. Giresunspor's second goal was due to Serdar Aziz's mistake. There are still defensive issues for Fenerbahçe. They are still the leader despite this loss though.

Congrats to Galatasaray on their huge win. Basaksehir were at the second position but this performance was unbelievable. They were so bad at defense in this match despite being one of the best teams about conceding the least amount of goals in the league. Galatasaray didn't show mercy when they had the opportunity and crushed them by 7-0. Icardi (1 goal, 2 assists) and Kerem (hat-trick) were amazing indeed. It looks like Galatasaray in the title race again after a huge improvement in offense.

Normally Fenerbahçe is in their best form and Giresunspor got very bad results. I still don't understand how Fenerbahçe lost this game. Red card is not a good excuse. Fenerbahçe won games with ten players. I wouldn't underestimate Borja Sainz, he had an excellent game today. Both goals were very classy.
Başakşehir played their worst game for a long time. Galatasaray's win could be predictable but this score, I don't think anybody expect that before the game, even players and coach didn't dream about this. Now the leadership race is more exciting, let's see if other teams can come closer.
