Fenerbahçe beat Trabzonspor with a last minute goal and reduced the points difference with Galatasaray to 5. Had this match ended in a draw, the points difference would have been 7. With this goal, Fenerbahçe not only got 3 points but also kept their championship hopes alive. A 7 point difference would have focused everyone on Galatasaray's championship. Fenerbahçe got a very important win...

This match was indeed full of controversy and became the focus of attention. Many people thought that, after a long spell of 2-2, the match would eventually end in a draw. However, the ref’s decision to add 12 minutes of extra time left more questions than answers. Yes, Fenerbahçe actually score the winning goal during that extra time, a move that sure sparked a lot of debate. A decision like this left many parties feeling that the employment of foreign referees could also be one of the solutions to maintain the objectiveness and quality of the match. Especially, of the match: in the second half of the league.

The prolonged extra time not only gave the game a more nervous atmosphere, it called into question the standard of refereeing and how it is supervised in the Turkish Super League.
I've been reading and listening to several opinions of sports journalists concerning the referee's decision to add extra 12 minutes in the Trabzonspor vs Fenerbahce game but just like I've concluded before trying to get external views, many are of the same of opinion with me that the referee's decision was as a result of the delays that happened in the game which makes the 12 additional time appropriate. The call by some of for foreign referees to be introduced in the Turkish Super Lig I don't think is a good one because the league should be able to raise and use local referees. The 12 minutes was for both teams to utilize it to get a late winner but the home team failed in their bid to win the game while the away team got all three points after former Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat scored in the final minute of the addition time.

Yes, local referees is not the point, but I am all for a more objective approach across all leagues. I think there is too much room left for subjective management of problematic games. It falls back on the referee and those guys don't deserve it, but they might under pressure for one reason or another. It would be better to have a rule set that rules out these subjective decisions for the sake of their own good.

Samsunspor and Antalyaspor match should be an easy match for Samsunspor to win before the Galatasaray match, considering Antalyaspor's current situation. Antalyaspor will of course try to win this match to see the top of the rankings. Antalyaspor is close to the relegation zone, so they may part ways with Alex De Souza after a few losses. Good players may not actually make good managers, Alex De Souza is one example of this.

Fenerbahçe secured a crucial 3 points by defeating Trabzonspor with a last-minute goal in the away game. Mourinho’s celebration after the goal showed how significant it was. To catch up with Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe will need to go on an extended winning streak.
The match is one of the most aggressive and intense games I have seen in the Turkish League. It produced nine yellow and referee Atilla Karaoglan was just lenient not to have issued a red card. Both teams played with so much pressure that the referee was confused most time because there were several complex infringements. Jose Mourinho needed to celebrate the game because Fenerbahce came from 2-1 down to win the game.

The Portuguese manager criticized the officials for awarding two penalties to Trabzonspor. He even said he doesn't want referee Atilla to be involved in Fenerbahce's future games. But from my observation, the first penalty looks controversial but the second one was clear. The win has moved Fenerbahce to the second position, five points below Galastataray.

In the first 20 minutes, Trabzonspor played a pressing and intense game, they put a lot of pressure, I wondered how this match would end.
After the 20th minute, Fenerbahçe took control of the game and the squad made the difference in quality felt.
The game calmed down and Fenerbahçe started to take control of the game with Tadic. With the goal scored in the last minute, Fenerbahçe gave the message that they are still continuing for the championship.

There were 12 minutes of extra time in this match. This alone is an indication of how much the game was stopped. Moreover, even after such a long period of control, wrong decisions can be made. It was even more interesting that the goal came in the 12th minute of extra time. Amrabat was very happy after scoring the goal. Because the referee had called a foul even though he had not committed a foul in a position. Jose Mourinho was also very happy after this match. Because the referee's decisions were very wrong. I think such referees should be demoted and should not referee matches in the upper leagues.
VAR was supposed to be work for better and fair, but things are going more troubling after the introduction of this system as many leagues are having problems and controversies as well which are surely not good for the spirit of game as we are discussing having problems due to VAR in Turkey Super League we are also having same issues in world's best competitive Premier League as well where many coaches are complaining about this and want better use of this technology.

José Mourinho was happy with this as his team was beneficiary of this bad decision but too many questions about referee and his ability to handle big games are moving around which needed to be settled and have better clarity as well hopefully we will have better use of this with all stakeholders will be felt better.

Another big match ended and all hell broke loose after the match. Billing address: Arbitrator and Var referee. Both sides are right. Trabzon scored a goal. While the ball was still in the air, the referee whistled for a foul and the goal was not counted. Trabzonspor's first penalty did not seem like a penalty to me, the referee did not give it, but the referee intervened and a penalty decision was made. While Fenerbahçe was leading 0-1, it became 2-1 with penalty goals in the second half.
Fenerbahçe scored 2-2 with Dzeko. He scored the winning goal with Ambrabat in the last minute.
Another big match is behind us, the fighting and noise will continue for 3-5 days, then the new week's matches and this will be forgotten and become a thing of the past.

This is the biggest problem of the Turkish league, we experience a new event every week and the next week another event happens, the things that happened the previous week are forgotten. Agenda topics change so quickly that there is no time left to talk about any event. But the general problem is always the same, there is always a problem with the referees and there is never a solution. We have been watching a league that has not been managed cleanly and fairly for many years Smiley

In the closing match of the week, Samsunspor will host Antalyaspor at home.Naturally, the favourite side is Samsunspor but I think Antalyaspor will make a surprise in this match. We may see that Samsunspor, which has not lost in the league for a long time, may lose in this match.Just my opinion.Antalyaspor needs to recover under Alex de Souza and this match may be a critical match for them.

I want to emphasize once again that foreign referees should come. Referee mistakes are being talked about again because the referee was bad.

This was a very important 3 points for Fenerbahçe. Trabzonspor took the lead 2-1 but I couldn't protect the score and lost the match 3-2.

The referee made ridiculous decisions in this match. The league cannot continue with these referees, the referees should be foreign in the second half of the league.

Trabzonspor's quality is clear and they did everything they could against Fenerbahçe. They dominated Fenerbahce in the first 15 minutes of the game, but it was not possible for them to extend it throughout the game. They are really, really terrible in defense. If they don't fix their defensive problems for the rest of this season, it won't be a good season for them.

It was an enjoyable game and the tempo was high. I congratulate Fenerbahçe but I find it pointless for the fans to rejoice as if they are the champions. Fenerbahçe are not playing a superior team game and with the way they are playing they might be disappointed at the end of the season. The refereeing wasn't terrible but it was wrong that an inexperienced referee officiated this game. The referee didn't manage the game well and I think that's normal because he is inexperienced.

There are experienced referees in the league, but how good are the experienced referees? The issue is not experienced or inexperienced referees, the real issue is the lack of good referees, they are all worse than each other. I don't think this problem will be solved, I think the only solution is foreign referees. This is the best option we have.

The talent gap between Trabzonsport and Fenerbahce is just too much and we are not going to see a loss by Fenerbahce here, Mourinho may not be amazing when it comes to league structure and he is more of a cup manager, but here we are talking about a huge enough gap that he will get the win. Plus, he knows the value of this game as well, a win is a must here because if they get a tie or a loss, then Galatasaray would have an easy league for the rest of the season.

But, when we are talking about getting a win, then they are going to be close enough that depending on just a few games played badly by Galatasaray would mean Fenerbahce would be right there with them. Lets see how the game goes but I expect a serious three points from Fenerbahce without playing badly.

But correct me if I am wrong and maybe there are statistics about it, but I feel like it happens more often in the Turkish league that they give these insane extra times. More than in most other leagues. There is a lot of additional time in the Premier League sometimes, but in Turkey it sometimes is crazy. Anyone thinks that it is more likely that there are had things going on behind the scenes in Turkey than in other leagues? Spain has a lot of rumors about stuff like this going on as well, especially when it is about Real Madrid. I still think that game time should be handled like in other sports. Just stop the clock when the game doesn't continue. Works in all other sports.

Wait until you see my national league from Romania where refs take up to 10 minutes to check a simple VAR video and sometimes they come up with the wrong decision so ...pure circus. Same thing happens in Turkey with extra minutes because this is a joke in my opinion because if we watch the games , most of them have great tempo and don't deserve so many extra minutes. I get it to see 5-6 minutes but to see over 9 minutes in most of Turkey games is just not right but it's a very difficult championship for both the players and refs.

This is why I dislike betting on Besiktas, they did get better compared to last season, but they are sitll not that great, they need better results. All in all, I am expecting them to not be in the first two places again this season. At one point, I assumed they would be getting the win, and really be near the top, which they would have been if they won the last two games, but they became bad yet again.

Galatasaray is a seriously good team, like actually an amazing team, and they are probably going to end up winning the league once again. They make betting for them so much simpler, we make easy money when we bet on Galatasaray to win, very rarely they end up losing, but you just double down and make that money back quite easily thanks to them. That is what I did last season and will do this season as well, just bet on them to win, and if they lose, just put double or triple the amount for next weeks game and you just make that money back anyways and keep profiting.

The way they are playing, if they break over 90+ points again, I wouldn't be really that much shocked, because they look like they actually have what it takes to make that happen. Even if not, at worst case at least the title seems like theirs by the look of it.

After have won against Lyon in Europa Cup I was expecting good results because this was big win and their confidence were also resorted but back to back lose give big setback now after 10 matches Besiktas have 8 points difference from leaders Galatasaray with their next few games in Europa League and Super League are going to be tough things are clearly looking now they need to be had some improvement as they started this season things were clearly looking we will have good fight for title race, but now it's all shattered.

In the game against Kasimpasa, we have second half disastrous as midfield and defense both have mess-up and Kasimpasa were able to secure 3 goals which give them good win in this big game after having humiliating defeat at home against Samsunspor.

Look like now Besiktas have to stay at third spot with Fenerbahçe visiting Trabzonspor which will give them good result, and they will have three points difference from them with Samsunspor is also now leading by 2 points it's going to be interested in middle of the season while we will have these teams for staying here.

Until all the teams play each other, it's important not to make any clear conclusions because there are significant differences between the fixtures. Teams that seem to be ahead at the moment may fall back, those that seem to be behind may come forward. I've been saying this for a few weeks now, some teams will have easier matches and the standings will change. We need to look at the game played on the field without getting caught up in perceptions.
There will be 36 matches in the league this season and I think the points bar will be close to 90. No team will get points like last season.
