By the way, I read in the sports press that Galatasaray will offer Napoli some players in exchange for Osimhen.

After Icardi's injury the number of news related to Osimhen increased gradually. I guess Osimhen's thinking of staying in Turkey for a long time is really crazy. Osimhen liked Turkey and Galatasaray fans a lot. I don't think that Napoli will accept anything other than cash. It is better not to trust Turkish sports press much as well.
Icardi injury is obviously a big loss for Galatasaray at the moment, but fortunately they have Osimhen this season who can be the spearhead to help win the Superlig and UEL, with the potential that Osimhen have of course they will not mind spending a lot of money and fulfilling the conditions requested by Napoli to get osimhen, although Osimhen is currently impressive with Galatasaray and starting to become the new idol of their fans, but to be honest, it is still unlikely that Osimhen will stay permanently at Galatasaray after we see his main goal so far, Osimhen previously wanted to move to a big team in Europe and we know that so far Galatasaray just as ladder to realize that his wish, so I don't think Osimhen will change his intention to move to a big European team after everything that happened in Napoli and Galatasaray at this time.

If Osimhen doesn't get injured, I think he can easily become the top scorer in the Turkish Super League.
There is no player who can hold Osimhen, we see in every match that he is very eager to play and score goals.
I think Osimhen will finish the season with at least 40 goals and goal contribution.
Osimhen is the only player in the league who can do this.
I agree, Victor Osimhen in this season we have huge development in Turkish Super League as we have two big names like Victor Osimhen and José Mourinho but sadly referees issue need to have some strict policy and improvement if Turkish FF fail to bring good and positive changes then we can lose this chance of having good name in top leagues.

Osimhen can score goals as he wants because already he has done good with Napoli few years back and still age and quality with him for having few more years at the top level for any league and club so if Galatasaray able to keep him this could be give them good success in Super League and into European competitions in future as well.

I don't think Osimhen needs to prove anything in his Turkish adventure. I'm sure he would like to be top scorer too, but I don't think he has that pressure on him because everyone, Galatasaray fans or not, is aware of his quality. This place is like a lottery ticket for him...

By the way, I read in the sports press that Galatasaray will offer Napoli some players in exchange for Osimhen. It is rumored that Galatasaray will offer Davinson Sanchez and Yunus Akgün or Davinson Sanchez and Barış Alper Yılmaz to Napoli for Osimhen's transfer...
Osimhen has made it clear that he is not under pressure and has no intention to start competing for the highest goal scorer in the Turkish. His sole aim is to help the club to succeed. But from his present form, he could win the award.

The Nigerian has found so much love in Turkey and is already enjoying himself. He has confirmed that he is not leaving this January but his future is still uncertain. At his age, he might want to play in the top leagues in Europe and win more club and personal trophies and awards. So if he has a better offer in other top clubs outside Turkey, he would definitely consider moving. The Turkish League is not a solid platform to win global awards.

To be fair, it would be quite a huge let down if Osimhen isn't the top scorer this year. The fact that he is playing for the best team so far (past two years title winners) and he was worth 100 million when he joined (dropped to 75 only because of contract deal) shows that he must be better than everyone there. Otherwise why is he even worth that much? If some other player ends up scoring more, then it would not make any sense at all, he would be not worth that much and he would lose value.

But, looking at how he has been playing so far, he had 6 games with 6 goals so far, which is pretty decent, considering he had hard time scoring on his first few games as well, we can safely assume that he is going to probably score about 20+ goals easily, not sure if he could reach 30 though, that seems like a stretch, I am guessing about 25 would be what is expected of him. If I was setting odds, I would say 25.5 over or under would be the ideal place to set it.

Osimhen is a great asset for Turkish football. If the Napoli had not been incompetently managed, a world star like Osimhen would never have come to Turkey before the age of 35. With Icardi injured, there’s no way they’ll let Osimhen leave the team in January. He was the one who brought Galatasaray the victory against Samsunspor with his two goals.

Actually, things were quite complicated in the Osimhen transfer. Normally, Osimhen was going to go to an Arab team but when Napoli asked for extra money, it didn't happen, so Osimhen said he wouldn't play for this team anymore and this opportunity came up.
He was going to be transferred for around 40-50 million Euros then.

Previously, I also thought that losing a key player like Icardi would affect their sharpness, but that it no happen, because Osimhen has now proven that he can be relied on in every crucial match, the two goals he managed to create in that match have led Galatasaray to be an unbeaten team while this is an unbeaten team at the moment, as well as those two goals have made Osimhen a strong candidate for challenger to be top score in the Superlig this season.

They have been performing pretty well in this season. I think there is a chance that the performance from them is going to be a little on the decline. Icardi has been a very important player for them. Not having him available can actually cause them a lot of problems. The biggest problem is probably going to be players not having good chemistry with the player that is going to play in place of Icardi. Btw Icardi is going to be unavailable for the rest of the season because this is an ACL injury and the injury is pretty bad. About Osimhen it is not sure he will remain full season, so without Mauro Icardi Galatasaray's performance remains in jeopardy.

Lack of rest seems to be a problem for a lot of clubs in my opinion. Training is always going to be hard. But proper rest is very important as well. Which I think a lot of the players are not getting right now in recent football. Because to make more money, they have to arrange more matches and the players have to play more games as well.

Good Luck

With the way Icardi got injured and probably ended his season, having Osimhen definitely helps Galatasaray a lot more now. I mean it looked "useless" transfer as in that wasn't the place they needed a transfer in, they didn't "need" a striker, they had Icardi, who has been the goal scorer last season, and was pretty crucial one year before that, but looking on third season, Osimhen was just a transfer they did only because they actually think it was worth it, it's Osimhen, if you can get him then you get him, that was literally the only reason.

Now, looking at it, if they didn't have him, they would be playing with Batshuayi and that wouldn't really be ideal for them, it would be not enough for such a club. Imagine going from "osimhen is my main striker" to "batshuayi is my main striker", that is a huge drop. Don't want to offend Batshuayi, he is a great player, but Osimhen is a top 5 striker in the world, so it is not the same thing at all.

The biggest reason for falling behind is the lack of proper team planning. We have a very good striker but no backup player. There are no wingers, there are no backups for the fullbacks, there are many good players in the midfield. There is no squad depth. There is no settled starting 11, every week a different squad takes the field. There is no game system that is played according to the available squad. All this translates into ineffectiveness in front of goal and therefore not winning every game.
Another reason is the chaos in Türkiye and those who deliberately fuel it. The referees' deliberately unfavorable decisions also led to the loss of points. You cannot always beat the referees by playing well. But if the opponents win with the help of referees even when they play badly, it's inevitable that the point difference will widen. A third of the season is over, the order is not going to change. That's why we need to play better and find a way to defeat those who protect this system.

It was a match where both teams played the ball, created positions and scored many goals. Galatasaray defeated Samsunspor 3-2 in their home match at Rams Park. Samsunspor explained their current points standings this season with the game they played in this match, they fought well. Osimhen showed off today, he started scoring extra goals in every match, he warmed up the team well.

It was good to take it slowly and open up later, just as it should be, we are talking about Osimhen. Osimhen provides physical superiority, that is why some of his in-game moves are criticized a lot, it may seem that way with the struggles of other players because their physical capacities are low.

Galatasaray left a tough match behind with a victory. It was a very important win for them on their way to the championship. For me, the most important moment of the match was Abdülkerim Bardakçı's and Davinson Sanchez's overhead kicks. Because it is a rare event in a match for a stopper to overhead kicks. After this position, the stands became very lively. Galatasaray are making optimum use of even their defenders in attacking organizations. Okan Buruk, who was at the center of controversy at the beginning of the season, must be sipping his whiskey right now.
Okan Buruk was heavily criticized at the beginning of the year. However, the transfer of Victor Osimhen changed the entire balance of the team in an instant. The team gained tremendous power with Osimhen. When we consider that Mauro Icardi ended the season, Osimhen's transfer becomes more meaningful. If he was not on the team, we can say that Galatasaray would be without a striker. They would only play with Michy Batshuayi. Okan Buruk should make a move to keep his most important weapon on the team until the end of the year. If Osimhen leaves the team during the mid-season transfer period, Galatasaray's big problems will begin.

Fenerbahçe played their best game of the season against Sivasspor. It's nice to see the team reacting after the embarrassing loss to AZ Alkmaar, but this isn't enough for Fenerbahçe, as they are still 5 points behind the league leader, Galatasaray.

Osimhen a strong candidate for challenger to be top score in the Superlig this season.

Osimhen is a player far above the Superlig level, so no one will be surprised if he scores more than 30 goals this season.

If Osimhen continues to play in Galatasaray until the end of the season, I am sure that he will be the top scorer of this year. Of course, if he leaves the team after the new year, then such a thing cannot happen. In the absence of Icardi, Galatasaray needs a goal scorer, and Osimhen would be the right choice for this role. He is definitely a player far superior to the quality of this league Smiley

True as you said Galatasaray won the match and maintained their unbeaten record this season so they are very comfortable at the top now with a big points difference so I doubt any other competitor can shift their position or I can say from now on the Turkish league trophy belongs to galatasaray.
And in that match osimhen scored two goals I see he is getting sharper.
But on the other hand I appreciate the resistance shown by samsunspor at least they did not lose too much.
The final result 3-2 for the home team's victory.
Yes, the result as I expected, Galatasaray won the match.
Galatasaray played aggressively, they are very motivated to win the match at home. They scored very early in minute 3', Osimhen was the player who scored the first goal. In minute 55', Osimhen scored the 2nd goal. And Batshuayi scored another goal in minute 85'. Galatasaray actually really dominated the match, they deserve to win the match. Unfortunately, Samsunspor got 2 penalty kicks, they scored 2 lucky goals. Anyway, Galatasaray leads the table with quite big gaps now.

It is true that Osimhen becomes sharper in Galatasaray. He has enough time to play, he also gets good supports from everyone there. I heard a rumor that Galatasaray wants to sign Osimhen permanently. If Napoli doesn't want him anymore, Galatasaray could have the chance to sign him. But I think another team will try to sign Osimhen again, it won't be easy for Galatasaray to sign Osimhen.

Source: Galatasaray may sign Osimhen permanently
Galatasaray's desire to transfer Osimhen should be the club that wants to transfer him the most right now. He has shown what he can do in such a short time and his harmony with the team. Osimhen's staying in the team will bring many gains. Many clubs will intervene, there are already a few rumors floating around. To be honest, I don't believe we can get him permanently, it will be a big surprise if it happens.

If it's about Victor Osimhen relationship with Napoli, that one have already gone sour and I don't think it can be repaired again but talking about his future with Galatasaray and if he'll be signing a permanent contract with the Turkish champions, the Nigeria striker have said that he's not leaving in January but will stay till the end of the season before deciding on his next move. Victor Osimhen in less than four months as a Galatasaray player have established a very good relationship with fans of the club and I think it'll might be one of the major factors that'll propel him to sign a permanent contract with the club at the end of the season.

This is not new about Jose Mourihno and we can just say that is part of his uniqueness. He has received red cards several times as a coach of different clubs and even been disciplined on many occasions due to his actions or utterances and he doesn't seem to be willing to change that.

He is a great coach and I would say that one of his greatest strength is the boldness he exhibits. This was instrumental to his successes in most of the clubs he has managed. I wouldn't want that to be used against him rather it would also make more sense if he is more selective with his words.
Agreed, that's the man's character and we can't take that from him...if he has something on his chest that is bothering him, he will say it as it is, and considering the influence  Roll Eyes that the man has..this is a timely eye opener that needs an improvement in officiating of games...

Anyway Fenerbahce plays Sivasspor later on today, let's see what the chosen one bring today  Cool
Jose Mourinho was in the stands. Maybe he analyzed the team better by sitting there calmly.
A coach who never sits still has always been like that for years.
It was an important win for Sivasspor, after the national team break there is also a match against Kayserispor, we need to go through such matches without any losses if they want to stay in the league race, Mourinho and his team.
Samet Akaydın scored the first goal for Fenerbahçe in his first match after a long break. Sivasspor was not given any concessions in the second half either.

I also read in the press that Osimhen wants to stay at Galatasaray. We see that he is happy at Galatasaray. But his permanent transfer cost is not easy even for Galatasaray. I think the most reasonable solution for Galatasaray is to keep him in the team until the end of the season. Icardi got injured and closed the season. It would be great if Osimhen stays with us until the end of the season. But I won't blame him if he leaves in the winter transfer window. He joined Galatasaray in the prime of his career. He gave us great moments.
If Osimhen has said to stay, it will be easier to sign him permanently. I think Galatasaray will try to pay his transfer fees. I think Napoli won't set a too high transfer fees anymore. However, I'm a bit worried that Napoli wants Osimhen to return to Napoli main squad. Osimhen keeps showing best performance in Galatasaray, this attracts attention to all people. How if Conte suddenly wants him to be the main striker of Napoli? If this happens, Osimhen may try to accept the condition and plays again as Napoli main striker. But we don't know what his decision, it is not impossible that Osimhen has no longer interest to stay in Napoli.

Osimhen has build a great bond with Galatasaray fans and would want to stay but it'll be a hard decision for him, Napoli and his agent. The Napoli club is demanding that the Turkish club pay a net fee of €75m, and Galatasaray is offering €50m. However, Mourinho wants him at Fenerbahce and the club is ready to pay more than his actual price.

More suitors awaits Osimhen including Chelsea, leaving Galatasaray a slim chance of retaining him to their squad.
