Do due diligence
Depends on your tastes...

The Universe on History
Through the Wormhole
Prophets of Science Fiction
The Cosmos (both Carl Sagan's and Neil Degrass)
Ken Burns National Parks (Gorgeous: watch it on Amazon Prime for free)
Ancient Aliens...yes I admit it, seen every episode :-)

Ted Talks (pick a topic from the site or Netflix)

HGTV / DIY types:
Love it or List it
Property Brothers
Fixer Upper
House Hunters International
Holmes on Homes

Prime time
Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, Scandal (basically Thursday ABC but we'll see what the next season holds).
Suits, The Good Wife, Empire.

Person of Interest
If you watched all of the Lost series it may take you a sec to adjust to the main character ;-)

Sweet and funny...
Big Bang Theory :-) Friends, How I met Your Mother.

A "little" violent or dark and twisty...
Hannibal
Banshee (ticked me off with last season's ending.)
Weeds
Dexter
Arrow...The Flash is a spin off without so much dark and twisty
Heroes (the original)
Boardwalk Empire
Deadwood
Justified
Outlander (men may not like it so much?)

Da Vinci's Demons (probably in its last season)

Rome
The Tudors

BBC America:
Orphan Black
Downton Abby
Mr Selfridge
Sherlock

Fringe
Defiance
Dark Matter

Silicon Valley is alright but I wish they would have kept The Betas on Amazon Prime (it was kind of "Scrubs meets Silicon Valley")

on Netflix
Sense8
Orange is the New Black

I get my "news" from Comedy Central

We have gotten some good recommendations from the Movie Thread... let's get it started for TV Series, as I think a lot of series now are just as good or even better than some of the movies coming out...

The ones that I am following right now are:

Banshee - Cinemax
True Detective - HBO
Shameless - Showtime
From Dusk Til Dawn (The Series) - Netflix Canada
House of Cards - Netflix
Vice - HBO

What other series are you guys watching and would recommend?

Breaking Bad and Narcos, Probably the same general genre but both were awesome to watch.

Have my cousin bugging me to watch Breaking Bad for months now. And I've never actually seen an episode. But I've heard a lot of people saying how it's really good - so yea, guess I'm going to give this a go.
