Wish for the rain? Then deal with the mud too.
I just saw MrBeast's twitter getting hacked too.

Is this thing still going on? I have read that twitter had already took those tweet down. And they already prevent verified accounts from posting temporarily, right?

He is known to be a huge Youtuber and known for donating huge amount to streamers and do other stuffs that usually tell people how much money he has. People would really fall for this especially those people that know MrBeasts since its his nature to be that kind of guy. Twitter should really improve their security and I hope that no one fell for this.

Yeah, this guy is a bit different among the list of those who get hacked, he's more of a generous guy. However, I don't think Mr.Beast would ask you to donate first before giving you back. Besides, what's the sudden interest to crypto though? He's mostly known for giving away cash.

My question is, do you think about what happened on this, does it affect Bitcoin? Negative or positive?
It is obviously negative, those hackers are really destroying the reputation of cryptocurrency towards its security in the market.
Because I saw some other famous in twitter like in financial field that talks about Bitcoin after that twitter acounts hacked on twitter, they have some random tweets about Bitcoin, like "What is Bitcoin?" It's like they started to become curious what is Bitcoin, or they are just being a sarcastic on their tweets.

Probably the latter, if they are really in the financial field, then no doubt that they have heard bitcoin already. It is being covered now by most mainstream media, close to saying that it is closely getting into the traditional market system.

We have seen the effects already, there is none, the market is slowly making a break out run after the twitter hack so maybe we can rest the case that we are not affected negatively.

FOCUS
Twitter said this twitter account hack was because one of their employees got socially engineered by a hacker. That's why the hacker was able to compromise these huge accounts.
For me, the real problem here is the Twitter itself. A lot of people got pissed off of what happened.

My question is, do you think about what happened on this, does it affect Bitcoin? Negative or positive?
The mindset of humans are full of greediness, this was the problem of those that fell into this traps. But, the effect of this happened are going to be positive on the long run, because Bitcoin was just been used on Twitter by those hackers. Twitter are to be blame for this and maybe the world might look into an alternative to Twitter accounts, like decentralize social media. We shouldn't be greedy and also, we should always verify our information before act.
This could not bring positive result in the long run since big personalities are involved and they could think that bitcoin is bad due to their hacking experience and they can easily manipulate and tell their fans about how bad their experience in bitcoin. Though it will be depending on the person/community on how they can accept the situtation.

It seems that in 2016, when the Wannacry virus spread around the world and hackers required victims to send BTC to them to decrypt infected documents, and then a memorable year for the crypto market. So can the same thing happen this year?

People are learning already, these hacking events are not only it happens today, but it also happens before and pretty obvious why hackers will do this is to scam innocent individuals. I'd never claim myself as a victim of this but not wondering those people who think instant millionaire will actually be fooled with this. Hackers targeting big names because they could help them to manipulate innocent people to fully believe and follow what they said.

I hope the twitter's immediate action will resolve the future hacking sentiments and this could be stopped.

I don't know who would fall on doubling scheme from here? It's one of the oldest scams in crypto-currencies, and its something
I learned from the start. Who would believe in this scheme, send to get double?! It sounds like a scam.
The main problem here is the hack of the Twitter. Is it safe to use traditional social networks? Can there be some socials network
with higher security, but in same time transparent and without censorship? Maybe there is free space for some crypto-social
network to grant all that to its users?
I think the new entrants to this market will be victims of this plan and really don't have the knowledge to realize it. Most of these Twitter accounts are related to the financial sector and will undoubtedly be the most serious security hole this year. Currently, there are no apologies from Twitter and this will greatly affect the reputation of Twitter in the future so you need to be wiser to avoid these cases.

I feel that they are the target of this hacking scheme since they are inexperienced  and easily believe in  what they see online that will give them easy money  .so I will say more of the noobs will fall for this easy doubling scheme . unless they also experience the same scheme before they saw the tweets .they have an idea  already in that scheme  so they will not believe in it easily.
If this happens on other social networks, there will certainly be many more victims. You really should not trust anyone in this market and should stay away when you see those articles. I was surprised by this but it was too late for them to correct the mistake because the money of those victims would certainly never be able to get it back. I think Twitter should keep customer information more secure because if it continues, this company will surely be alienated.

My question is, do you think about what happened on this, does it affect Bitcoin? Negative or positive?

It is obviously negative, those hackers are really destroying the reputation of cryptocurrency towards its security in the market. Especially that they use high profiles and one of the most used social media platform in the internet. Maybe, a lot of victims will trust and fall on their trap as they are using almost real offer towards cryptocurrency. Probably, most of the victims are newbies and unaware of these happenings in cryptocurrency community. But for a normal crypto users, he will seek information first and look for an evidence and proof that these high profiles are really doing that offers and make their money become doubled. Always find the truth if the twitter post is legit and if it is really posted by the real user's account. Don't fall for those scams.
It will definitely have a negative impact on bitcoin and cryptocurrency because it ruins bitcoin's reputation that they have hacked famous people to steal and scam other people. Surely, many people have been victimized by this scam because not all of them are aware of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, so it is easy for scammers to tricked this kind of person. Unlike most crypto users who already have experience in this kind of schemes, it is very hard for them to tricked them because they will do research and check their accounts if it is hacked.

Newbies are not that newbies anymore and somehow they can realize if something scheme is sh*t or not even the offer will come from big personalities. Good thing that the news spreads quickly for awareness.

Always be vigilant about what we saw on the internet. I know it's really tempting for others to risks some money if a certain big people are involved in that kind of investment but in any kinds of investment, putting time in DYOR is really necessary.

That's really shame for giant company like Twitter. Twitter is like haven for crypto currency users. From past few years we continuously seeing this kinda pathetic news. If this is going to happening every moment then people won't believe twitter anymore. They should shut down their platform and they should find out their lick and working on it. And people should stay away from any kinda Twitter giveaway for a while.
Currently, Twitter is facing a lot of security issues and this will certainly make the company's reputation go down. A lot of people have lost money because of this security hole and Twitter should compensate for the loss of those who lost. I personally have never lost money from these programs and definitely shouldn't trust anyone at Twitter because there may be more attacks going on in the future.

This is basic no one has received Bitcoin from giveaways where the instructions is for you to send them Bitcoin, if they are asking for your private keys or your coins so you can receive yours then it's outright a scam because it has been proven scam so many times in the past, but some people are stubborn.

Damn , i was quit from twitter since along time ago after bounty sucks already, and now they have a lot security problem, and for sure , i followed that people you mentioned.
After i saw their tweet, then what appeared first in my mind is why big people like them do something like that, i mean if they really want to create some donation, they just do it, no need via crypto, and also mostly already joined to some foundation, even bill gates have own foundation, and you just believe that giveaway ?

Always becarefull and smart is more than enough to secure ur life on crypto sphere.

I think this situation will not only happen in twitter but to other social media apps. So for those soc med vultures, they should be very alert with potential scams along the way. Don't fall on these too-good-to-be-true offers. Because almost all of them have drawbacks, like you need to send them some X worth of bitcoin before you can get your supposed "reward". If you will not exert effort in getting that prize, expect that there are loopholes in that giveaway. Remember, there's no free things nowadays.

Its not having lots of issues but they do only have that one but a big or major one which do really compromises of those popular person, business accounts which can really deceive out people if it
would really be used on other way around.

People should really have this kind of mindset on why the hell they would offer on giving a donation if those people are financially capable and does even have their own charity and with that
alone you can presume out that something is happening.

People are just way too dumb and greedy.

There's no such thing as a perfect platform and I want you to know that even those huge platforms also make mistakes.

I really don't understand is that, the security is the most important thing in a social media platform and still they don't value it very much.

But I know that in this circumstances, they learned a lot from this because this scams will costs a lot of money. Even those high profiles can also be scammed, criminals are really wise in using other people's identity to easily believe on what they are offering in a certain tweets. They don't need to shutdown their platform because their platform can make us updated on what is happening in our surroundings. They should just fix their problems immediately before this scammers can victimized more people.

Bro hacks happen everytime even the most unimaginable systems can be hacked even if they are deemed secured during that time. Yeah for sure they can say that their system is impenetrable during that time but the thing is hackers will always find a way on how they can hack it by finding new methods on penetrating it. They can always counter and counter everything as the system is already there and the only thing they can do. So I don't think Twitter is really not valuing their security but it just happened that they were targeted by a coordinated attack and that's how tough it is on handling these types of services.
