I will see who the hell people who will pay around $20 fees to send a few dollars of ethereum that can't be withdrawn.

If the Ethereum cannot get withdrawn then what's the essence of implementing the tipping feature? Is it a way to publicize Ethereum on twitter or just a gradual step that will get resolved, soon it can be withdrawn. Besides, the countries where the feature are supported like India are tech countries that already know about Ethereum and as a form of publicity it'll yield a brief result for the cryptocurrency. Actually, I don't see a good reason for this feature though, especially if it can't get withdrawn regardless of the Gas fee.

ok support for ethereum is already a big step compared to not having a crypto friendly social network. but mostly of twitter users as already said will find this feature useless.
at this point they could support metamask to allow to use also "cheaper" blockchains like xdai or matic even BSC it has a cheap price... we have seen several coins built with same standards...

This is a good move but it's not the best choice. It may have the different result other than bitcoin with its lightning network. I will see who the hell people who will pay around $20 fees to send a few dollars of ethereum that can't be withdrawn. This is so stupid. I meant how can the company was adding tipping feature without thinking about this.
If it works pretty much the same like centralized exchange site and that's fine but it's not for working like another tipping platform.
Seeing how big twitter is, one would expect them to introduce another coin rather than Ethereum but I think they are just playing to the gallery. I can boldly say that most twitter users will find this feature useless, I think twitter is just trying to be in the news as being friendly to Ethereum.
Gas fees is an impedance to use ETH blockchain for tipping when coins like XRP, LTC, SOL, NEM, Nano, XLM, and others have not been added.
I think apart from etheruem gas fews that seem on high, the Ethereum is highly preferred more than the coins you mentioned above, in dominance to start with, volume. Twitter may have chosen the right coin for this and I think it is going to be a positive move for twitter and the cryptocurrency .

I saw this on the internet that Twitter now supports Ethereum wallets on its tipping feature. This is like the social media trying to have a link with cryptocurrency and that will create more expounding for them. This is like another means that Ethereum is going to go into more use and popular apart from bitcoin that is already going into legalization in Russia and Ukraine etc.

Social media giant, Twitter, has announced that it is adding Ethereum wallet address to its tipping feature.

Twitter started its tipping feature in September of 2021, only supporting Bitcoin via the lightning network, as a way for users to send money through cryptocurrency and other means on its social media platform. Although criticized, the feature is used by a significant number of people in the country the feature is supported.

The social media giant seems to be taking a step further with the newest update on its tipping feature. Now, Ethereum wallet addresses can now be added as a means of tipping on Twitter. This means those with Ethereum wallet addresses can receive crypto on Twitter as tips.
