I guess twitter just gave me a good reason to finally be active like a regular user, I truly think the idea is great, we have many raw talent on twitter who are also crypto enthusiast and will be pleased to get paid in btc, am assuming this will bring more user to twitter thereby increasing their user base even.

This is great, because till day bitcoin is stated to be good for large volume transactions. Now the change has happened through the lightening network. More discussions were around for a long relative to the lightening network. Now the same into real-time usage by a large network making path for small value transaction/tipping is a big step in the adoption of bitcoin in all forms. Already different platforms have begun to accept bitcoin on different needs, now something on a social media platform seems to be more effective in adoption of the technology.

This is why Twitter is one of my favorite social media platforms. They’re always making a big move that other platforms hardly considered. now there will be the first that has done this, and I believe that with time other social media platforms are going to start doing the same thing. I will see lots of them who will start paying their content creators through Bitcoin.

Bitcoin as a payment method should be something that is available on all major platforms by now, and content creators should be allowed to choose whether they will like to get paid through cryptocurrency. I’m also looking forward to other platforms like Google accepting it on platforms like YouTube .

this is a very interesting topic to discuss about Twitter which will pay creators for content if they create content about bitcoin, at the same time this will be a promotion for bitcoin, where the price is still unstable and has also received rejection from various countries in the world so that difficult for bitcoin itself.but with the payment made by Twitter for bitcoin content this will greatly impact bitcoin in trying to return its price to return to stability in the global stock market

I could never imagine that Jack Dorsey doing such bitcoin friendly stuff since a few months ago. But, specially recently he did many positive stuff and done many things like this one. By doing this users of Twitter will have thw chance do integrate more with bitcoin and since bitcoin already got popularity between people, there will be some positive effects for Twitter itself.

Twitter's Jack Dorsey told investors that bitcoin would be an important instrument for the company and that they would introduce the feature to his Tip Jar. At the moment it appears this feature is only in the beta version of iOS, but it looks like it will make its way to Android as well eventually. It's not yet known when the feature will launch, but the code also indicates that Twitter will provide users with tutorials on how to tip using bitcoins, as well as using Bitcoin Lightning Network and custodial and non-custodial wallets.

Using Bitcoin as payment for content creators is a good idea, for both Bitcoin and Twitter's content creators, not only will they have an opportunity to make more profit because of Bitcoin, but because of them as content creators using Bitcoin and their platform and audience to gain more trust over Bitcoin.

I entirely agree with Jack Dorsey, Bitcoin is actually a useful instrument for social media platforms, a lot of people uses Twitter as a platform for cryptocurrency and endorsing projects as well.

It's not surprising because ever since before they're against in crypto because of some reason  so be aware as well and stop wondering why they want to shut down bitcoin.. So it's not surprising actually to be honest and be advised that in this situation it depends on the situation so always bear it in mind to avoid anything and think about it before making any decision..

one good news and make bitcoin stronger in the current market, I did not expect CEO Jack Dorsey to be a strong supporter of cryptocurrency,
plus for twitter can send each other btc between twitter users , one thing that is amazing this year ,

twitter has done a very positive thing because it has paid every content creator with bitcoin, if this really happens this is a very good step, and people who are in the field of twitter are even more enthusiastic, and over time, twitter will be known again widely by the community, and more and more people will jump into twitter..

Oh! this is out of the blue! it's just something that you don't expect. Last time they purging the account that burst posting about the crypto project but now they are giving some tips to the one who posted good things about bitcoin. How quickly things can change in the crypto industry. that's why those who doubt about it will never get anything from it. they need to consider making their research more comprehensive after this decision on Twitter. They might miss something big if they don't add this new good thing about bitcoins.

That's really a great news because Twitter has a large number of users and hence more number of people will now get exposed to bitcoin.
Also, the tipping feature will encourage more number of people to start content creation on Twitter as this might be an income opportunity for them.

The things to note are that the tipping feature will start only on iOS devices for now and will roll out to Android in the next few weeks.
I wonder whether the tipping service will be available for website users or not.
It would have been better if Twitter could publish a page giving out more details of the tipping service.

this is good news for bitcoin. Social media giants like Twitter are starting to adopt bitcoin and implement it on their platforms.
Yes, Jack Dorsey is definitely taking a first approach to this and because of this it will make Tweeter the first social platform to embed with BTC payments via tipping. Content creators actually being rewarded right away- massive improvement and encouragement in the space.

This news is good for both parties as well as for the long term adoption of BTC. As such the +ve vibe around the whole crypto market should pick up again, following recovery from the China FUD.

I'm not a Twitter person, but it's great to have Jack who's been consistently pro-Bitcoin, unlike other rich guys from the tech industry. This tipping feature sounds very nice to me, and given how Twitter is a huge social network, this can generate a lot of interest in Bitcoin and encourage way more people to use it. What's also great is that while Twitter allows tipping using Strike (which seems crucial in El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin), there's also an option of adding one's Bitcoin wallet address to receive tips directly.

Does anyone have news about whether they have rescinded their ridiculous BTC address shadowban? Since 2020 can simply be repeated again by attaching a BTC address to a hacked profile and telling gullible users to "pay to the BTC address in my profile"?

I hear they’re also going to allow authenticated NFTs as profile picks. That is the start of the game changing for NFTs. Once they become a provable flex on social networks, shit could start to get wild. Every celebrity and social media influencer is going to want to have the best and most expensive profile pics…

How is this going to stop some random twitter account like mine from using the same pics?

Not just an encouragement but also a boost to the popularity of bitcoin overall because these move by Twitter is going to make more people adopt bitcoin because Twitter has legions of influencers that's going to do their thing and start sharing their thoughts on this thing and using their own influences.
one by one big companies started accepting bitcoin, and twitter is one of the biggest social media that currently accepts bitcoin. this will certainly make twitter users more familiar with bitcoin. this is a wonderful thing. I'm pretty sure little by little developments regarding bitcoin will be very widespread. although there are quite a lot of repeated FUDs, but I strongly believe developments like this will make bitcoin adoption more widespread. well, I'm waiting for the next big company to accept bitcoin. this is amazing.

This news looks impressive. If this is true, then other social platforms could follow Twiiter's example and this could cause an even bigger surge in the use of cryptocurrencies, namely BTC. I also have a Twitter account and it would be nice to get BTC for my content. We are probably witnessing the start of a new stage of development in the crypto industry and all this looks promising.

That's awesome, will it be like Twitch where there's a semblance of content first before anything else? Or would it be the same as Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee? If so then that means they're competing against other established platforms which is good since the more competition there is then there's more benefit for the people.
From what I had seen of the framework behind it, they plan on having you pay to see posts.

So it would be more like a Patreon if they really do plan on implementing this into the final version of their rollout.
As it is being enabled for their iOS customers in a sort of beta release then if it does not have any issue they will bring it for everyone to use.

Twitter added this feature every content creator on the twitter platform can make money, so by adding cryptocurrency payments, they hope to encourage more people to participate in the economy and help each other send monetary aid across borders by tipping through the lightning network.
