Congratulations on your achievement. You have already earned enough merit of being a senior member, but since you need more activity, you have to be patient. The journey in this forum is really enjoyable, every achievement will motivate you to do better.
So I hope you can achieve more in the days to come, and contribute to this forum as much as you can. I am hopeful that one day you will achieve your targeted Legendary rank. Many many good wishes.

glad to see your achievements, I've only been here a few days and still learning about the intricacies of merit.
when I saw your profile, it only took me a few months to reach the Full Member level, I was motivated to become a better person and so that my hard work paid off with the existing merits.
I realize I'm still relatively new here and it's been 2 days I'm here and I still don't really understand how to get rewards (apart from making useful threads for all of you). but i will try as best i can to at least increase my achievement to a higher direction Cheesy
This thread was to motivate newbies like yourself not to give up. I see complaints from newbies and junior members about how unfair the merit system is. My story should make you see merits are not impossible to get. The merit systems ensures that merit is cycled throughout the forum, merit sources are always there to help. I can see you have enough merits now to reach member rank you only need the required activity. A quick way to improve is to watch legendary members, learn from them. One thing I observed and try to imitate is not to give generic replies to a post. I studied and focused on sharing what I learnt.

I think it is less than five months I joined the forum and become productive. I want to encourage you. Nobody is hoarding merits from you neither are you at a disadvantage as a newbie. Do your best and leave the rest. There are other of my peers who started the year as newbies and are full members now. Some have enough merits to be hero member already and they are still contributing everyday to the forum with no paid signature campaigns on their backs. A new rank adds more responsibility to the user and when you are given that responsibility. Do good with it.

I know many established are tired of this tradition but for a new era member like myself Why not celebrate? I'm glad to be among the ranks and hope to grow more in the future. I will be updating this thread on each new rank achieved until I reach Legendary.

Congratulations. And you are right that a lot of times, these celebratory posts can feel cringe but, what the heck, its the internet and you are free to do what you love. As long as its not just for the love of money or for running scams.

Humans make the best things and then find a way to spoil them too. Internet opened up so many possibilities for the world to come closer, for people to know each other better and that we did. Unfortunately, it also opened up scams and opportunities for evil people. Just keep doing good and wish you strength in the face of greed and temptation.

thank you friend for providing direction and advice for me to achieve merit.
but for now I will only focus on my learning how to be in this forum well and of course provide something useful in the forum and learn to become someone who is really qualified in this forum.
True, you have to learn and it will be even better if you are a user who is hungry to learn something that can increase your knowledge about bitcoin beyond basic knowledge of it.

when people have a lot of rewards it means that their quality is really good
No, of course not entirely true although I tend to believe that is mostly true. Not all users who get merit are quality posters because in certain cases you will get them also can get a lot of merit just for honest behavior. See this user, EZ0010.

The merit system is not as complicated as you think, just know how it works and you will get it.

The main point that you need to think about right now is how you can achieve quality posts. Of course you will immediately imagine that learning is one of the most supportive, and yes you have to learn to achieve quality posts. Define your interests and try to keep doing it consistently without expecting anything in return. Merit are not difficult if you are a quality poster, but it will be difficult if you constantly think about how you can get them.

Pay attention to the people around you, they are quality posters who managed to get hundreds to thousands of merit. Interesting right? but this is not a competition but this is what and how you determine your own destiny and your activities in this forum.

it's really interesting to see people with a lot of merit there but of course there's no need to be jealous of that because it really has to do with quality. when people have a lot of rewards it means that their quality is really good and as for someone like me who incidentally is a newcomer, he must be able to follow in the footsteps of colleagues who are already here and must be able to think with good quality to follow in their footsteps.

You know, you are in the right place to learn and increase your interest in bitcoin or cryptocurrency. I've been in your position and I can really feel how happy you are to get to this rank so quickly. Generally newbies newbie are more interested in making money on forums, it's because they hear people have made. It wasn't wrong, but they couldn't compensate for it in the right way.

1 merit from me has been rounded up to 200 merit now. You only need another 50 merit to qualify as a senior member, but you have to be patient for that. Do something that you think is right, it is good for your development.

Every achievement in your bitcointalk journey counts and is worth celebrating, reaching the full member rank in this amount of time and having more merits that activity shows you are a positive addition to the forum and I am optimistic that you would have enough merits to get to a legendary rank in no distant time. The required activity might take a while though.

Congratulations on your achievement, a perfect new year present.

Congrats and looking forward to that goal of yours. Tradition of announcing their appreciation isn't something the established guys should torment. I see some before that if someone sharing their achievement they get alarmed and thinking another merit grabber bait post. Well it's fine as long as the poster is sincere with what he/she posting. Ignore those haters and add them to ignore list. Bullshit users should be muted to avoid stress. Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Congratulations on your achievement, @SatoPrincess. I believe it was well deserved.

As for your determination to become a Blockchain engineer someday, I would like to share with you what one of my professors in the MBA program said: "Make it happen and make it happen now!"  Wink Making a career in crypto is hard work. But it is possible. A strong willpower is the biggest key to success. So, go for it!

@SatoPrincess, you have a good interest in this forum and a strong will, I also know some Nigerian/African communities here, they all work hard to achieve their wishes (positive).

For that you can also be like them and also achieve your goals in the Blockchain field and also Legendary rank, as long as there is a desire to learn and the will all can be achieved easily, I also hope that the ideas and knowledge you have about Blockchain and Crypto can bring you as quickly as possible to achieve your dreams, good luck in the future.

I recall your thread about feeding the homeless. A wholesome thread that I read during Christmas, and I wish I am able to donate something at least. Regardless congrats, OP

This was the thread that I was mentioning: A Crypto Christmas; Using Bitcoin to help feed the homeless

Thank you. We did the best we could with what we had. Big thanks to forum members who donated to the cause. Its a blessing to be a source of happiness to someone else. Even though you couldn't make a donation to our cause you can help someone in your locale. It could be the homeless guy you walk pass everyday to work. A little helping hand and the world wouldn't need superman.
I want to express my joy. I have reached 100 merits for a while now but lacked sufficient activity to rank up.
I remembered when you created a thread about your 90 days journey in crypto. I even thought you were full member at the time until you mentioned your have not gotten the activity required. You have the merit already, but no enough activity until today. I noticed you want to contribute also on this forum and nice about that as you have tried to an extent.

Congrats. Expect merit from me when having enough merit to send as you deserve it.
A lot of people on that thread thought I had become full member. I had to correct that a couple of times. When the congratulations started coming, I double checked my profile and saw I'm still a member  Grin I'm glad to be officially recognized as a full member now. Can I get in one of the gangs? Lol

If you strongly believe you will be a blockchain engineer then yes, you can. Your target should be stronger and walk on the way. Good to see you are walking above your merits. Means your merit earning speed is more than activity. I was the same at the beginning of my journey although earning merit during that time was tougher. There wasn't much merit source as well. Now I become a merit source and spreading merits. However, newbies would take a lesson from your achievement. Everything is possible by hard-working and contribution. Just keep up your contribution to the forum. Hope once a day you will become a Legendary blockchain engineer.

Season greetings to you all!
I want to express my joy. I have reached 100 merits for a while now but lacked sufficient activity to rank up. Today, December 30, 2021 I become a full member of Bitcointalk forum and hold my place in this online community I now call home.

Here's a snippet of my BitcoinTalk.org journey:
I registered on Sept 15, 2021
On sept 23, I got my first merit which is the highest amount of merits (12) I have received on a single comment.
I got my 100th merit on November 24, 2021 (lack activity didn’t rank up until December 30th as full member).
On January 1st, 2022 I got my 200th merit.
On January 12, I got my 250th merit, but lack activity and didn’t rank to Senior Member.
On January 14, I made my my custom trust list. Credits to LoyceV for LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system and icopress for showing me the importance.
On April 4th, I got my 400th merit.
On May 4th, I became a senior member with 252 activity and 425 merits.
Dec 15, I got to 500 merits thanks to boost from Ratimov
On Dec 30, I hit 490 activity to become hero member

Thank you to all that made it possible. I am extremely thankful for those members that support me, thanks to their guidance, goodwill and support I have been able to continue to contribute to this forum.

Thanks to the forum I have come to know that there is much more to crypto than buying bitcoins and Altcoins. I'm learning more about Blockchain and how to build applications on the Blockchain. I hope to become a Blockchain engineer someday.
