I need a dummy proof way of setting up masternodes.  I have tried the Dash way and the way posted in this forum through the wallet and I am having no luck.  Currently I have enough TX to run (3) nodes however I cannot get them online to run.  Can someone post a "DUMMY PROOF" masternode tutorial so that us laymen can get these things up and running?  I have been fumbling with it now for a few days and every time I think I got it - poof - no mn on the network.  I would like to see the setup transfer coin for multiple masternodes running within Windows.  Thanks - pokeytex  I have .05 BTC to tip to my saviour!  Grin

PM lethax, he run 9 masternodes on windows, he'll be your man Smiley

Yes - I have been chatting with him and he is working on a tutorial.  I just wanted to motivate a little.  I am sure there are others out there that need help too.  Once I get this set up properly I will set up more! :-)

Great then! Smiley

This will be great. I could run 3 to 7 Masternodes. I'll tip 1,000 TX

All on windows? Damn haha I think I'm going to work on Windows too for that kind of bounty haha

Good to hear from you guys Wink I've been checking out your API and it is absolutely great. From what I've seen this will provide a good opportunity for traders wanting to access fiat markets, and If everything goes well hopefully we'll be able to integrate your api into our wallet like bittrex Wink

And for anyone who wants to signup and checkout the exchange it would be greatly appreciated if you signed up using my referral link. If you havent signed up already.

Can someone explain to me how i can host multiple masternodes on one VPS/IP?

One client per masternode. if your running multiple masternodes on one IP you need to run one daemon or QT for every masternode you plan to setup

how much were you trying to send? there might be a max amount limit..

Why would there be a maximum limit? and where would that be set? I tried to send a small amount of 186 TX. I remember some time ago with NTRN that you could only send small amounts and that was pretty crap, so why would there be a limit?

I haven't experienced any transaction limiting yet, but as for the issue. Are you selecting each of the inputs individually using coin control to make sure you arent selecting your masternode input?
Also what operating system are you using, and by chance do you have notifications for your system turned off so that messages on your task bar dont appear?
If you do you wont be able to see the error being produced, and the transaction could seem like its doing nothing when really it's trying to throw an error that just gets hidden.

I can only select the masternode input as this is my only address and I was trying to send the stake for the last few days. This is the only address available in coin control.

This is what the log shows:
2016-01-20 10:56:57 socket send error 49
2016-01-20 10:57:12 CoinControlDialog::updateLabels() - Time elapsed: 0.001449
2016-01-20 10:57:19 CActiveMasternode::Dseep() - RelayMasternodeEntryPing vin = CTxIn(COutPoint(0e685018d1, 0), scriptSig=)

I am running OSX 10.11.1

From what I see. You need to create another address in your wallet to send the coins to. I apologize if I am reading your statement wrong.

Edit: Just thought about this.  See if you have mnconflock=1 in your master.conf or transfer.conf. I believe it needs to be 0 then you should be okay.

Some small updates, Been working on a web wallet for transfercoin, Which was from quite a while ago. Got most of the features working, just need to fix sending coins with it. Staking and creation of masternodes with this web wallet will not be available, but a staking web wallet is something we are looking into. Also been working on multi signature addresses inside the wallet, and this web wallet includes features for signing and broadcasting raw transactions over the network. as well as creating new addresses including multisigs.

Another thing i've been working on is updating the masternode manager GUI. In the next version it will no longer have its own database. and it will use the masternodes from the masternode.conf. Any new masternodes created will be added to the wallet as well as your masternode.conf making it much easier to manage remote masternodes through the GUI rather than by hand, and with the console.

Just as a notice to everyone, Sending coins from the web wallet currently does not work, but you can import this address into your wallet if needed. I will be working on this in the future. for now it serves as a good way to sign and send raw transactions, which is what i was going for.

Is your wallet the latest? normally the wallet shows the balance "spendable" which can be withdrawn..

EDIT: just tried sending some with no issue..
