I agreed with the answer because it actually 13years now if I'm correct when the Liverpool last won a trophy but they and the Tottenham are almost the same cause the last time Spurs won a trophy was about 10years. However, the preparation of the both side will determine the team that deserve the trophy.
Speaking of been better team in terms of paper and pitch per next statement, you can't use the previous performance of a club to make a future prediction. Do you know the numbers of gamblers that make losses through the Barcelona vs Liverpool 2nd leg game.

But one the other hand Spurs also made emphatic comeback, which isn't less impressive than win of Liverpool. Offcourse, Liverpool are favorites to lift trophy on the paper, but after crazy things that we saw in semifinals I just don't see any resons to give initial predictions or favor one of teams.

Tottenham chances to win the final are very low in my opinion even though they knocked out City. I watched both matches against City and Ajax and they didn't played great and I can even say they were a bit lucky in both. On the other hand Liverpool has knocked Barcelona after they lost the first match 3:0 and while they had some luck because Barcelona missed a few opportunities, they got in the final because the way they played. Anyway it will be a great match for sure and I'm sure it will not be easy for neither of them, especially because they know each other so well playing every year in Premier League together.

It looks like the EPL and CL matches are certainly very far away. And tomorrow is the last EPL match, where all teams play with the same time & day. After that they will focus on the CL match. I also think that Liverpool is the favorite of the champions. But I also want the spurs to have resistance so that the final match is impressive.

That would be a interesting point. I think that Salah is not going to be able to play in the final. But what about Kane?
I think that Tottenham needs more to have Kane in the squad, he is more important for the team. On the other hand, Liverpool has various attacking substitutes for Salah replacement.

Harry Kane is going to be missed a lot if he is not able to play in the finals and as OP Liverpool have a lot of striking options and i do't think they are going to miss Salah a lot if he can't play and remember that in the last Champions League finals, it was Karius errors and not Salah's injury that doomed the Merseyside Reds.

Christ, the more I read the analysis the more difficult it's getting to ignore that Liverpool are indeed the favourites in the final. I never really like the feeling of playing in a big game, and being the clearcut favourites. It doesn't quite suit the feeling of the entire season up to the final, but of course, Ajax in the final wouldn't have been much different anyway.

Still not sure what to bet on, I already have quite a bit on Liverpool winning CL, so I'll probably just take one of those fancy lines if I see something interesting. Salah hattrick or Mane brace, something a bit ridiculous but not unthinkable, or maybe a 3-0 straight win bet. I know it's not going to be easy and we've always had tight games with Spurs but everything depends on who makes the final cut come match day.

Everyone's minds will be clearer after tomorrow's matches in EPL.

The real difficult match for whom to predict. Because both teams certainly have met frequently at EPL. So, Liverpool or Spurs can win this UCL. But when viewed from the head to head of the two teams this season certainly Liverpool are superior because of the two matches in the EPL, Liverpool always won. Will Spurs be able to learn from previous meetings.

Klopp may have lost some finals but this is his 3rd CL final now, I think he wins this one.
Klopp won 2 Bundesliga titles in Germany & some other stuff. Poch has never won anything.

I also find Klopp much more genius in setting up tactics and I would place current Liverpool above over Tottenham. But it's true that stats might fail up when it comes to the final conclusion so can't say anything for sure if Liverpool will be the side to lift the CL for sure.
