I will ruled out for match Liverpool against Porto because i had disappointed the odds for Liverpool that quite low @1.01 but i will switch my bets for another match and my pick was drop to Man City ML although this is away game for them but i'm sure they will win against home team Tottenham

For tonight's games, I believe Liverpool is clearly the favorite against Porto but I don't think it will be that easy. I'd say 2-0 for LFC.
In the other game, I see Tottenham winning this one 3-2 against City leaving the 2nd leg pretty open.

I think Liverpool will have an easy win today if they take this game as they should seriously. If not they risk big tonight as Porto is in great shape and this is shown by them coming up this far in the Champions League.

Tottenham and Manchester City is a difficult game to predict but Manchester City should win or at least qualify.

You should not undermine any team that has reached so far in the contest.
Porto is not easy team to win and Liverpool should respect them in the pitch. The difference between these two teams are huge, but Porto can give some hard times to Liverpool anytime.

Not at this stage of the competition will any team underestimate their opponents, I doubt they're going to take this game with levity. They are playing at home so are they will definitely want to make the most of that advantage.

I am feeling so nervous about tonight, but I am so glad we got the win before meeting Manchester City. They say they are not afraid of our new stadium but guys, there is nothing like having a home to call your own right? I'm betting on my Spurs to win tonight, a draw could be okay at 0-0, because I know we can score at the second leg. We must go, I would love to meet Juventus Smiley

Liverpool vs FC Porto, it should be easy for Liverpool and this first leg play at Liverpool home, i hope Liverpool can make it through at least 3 goals at home. Tottenham vs Manchester City, play at new tottenham stadium. Man City is favoured, but i'm sure tottenham will all in in this match.

liverpool has a big name and top players at this time are clearly more favored. especially playing at home. this provides more advantage in facing porto. in some of last home games Liverpool's they always won. I'm sure porto just targeting draw in this match.
for spurs and ManC matches, Spurs always play well when playing at home. playing in a new stadium spurs will surely provide more energy for spurs, ManC must be careful. but My guess ManC will win the match.
Playing at the home is a big advantage though, so liverpool need to win this with many goals. So they can take it easy on the 2nd leg on Porto home. It's champion league, i guess there will be a surprised, like Tottenham win against man City or other underdogs team reach final, who knows.

The Uefa Champions league gets back underway.
There are 2 matches for today Liverpool playing at home against FC Porto while Tottenham would host Manchester City in their new home "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium".

Fixture 1: Both Porto and Liverpool have been doing great domestically, Porto with 4 wins and a draw in their last 5 games, while Liverpool have won all their 5 matches. Both have met 6 times in European competitions Liverpool won 3 and played draw on 3 occassions, I'd expect Liverpool's dominance over their opponent to continue today.

Prediction: Liverpool 2 - 0 Porto

I really want to ask when did Juventus really became this good? I mean it can't be just Ronaldo right ? You have to have a lot of people who are good before he joins. I am checking the roster for this season and last season and many players are about the same compared to last year but they were never even remotely close to this season good.

I mean Ronaldo is definitely great and cancelo and costa all are great players but I really didn't expected the fact that they could move from just Italian champions into a big threat to win the champions league. They are really improving as a team too, they are not just learning to be better but they are learning to be better together at the same time. I would love to seem them on finals even though I do not like Ronaldo not because they are just good but because we are sick of the same finals over and over again. Liverpool vs Juventus could have been a great finals for example.

Ronaldo changed the entire team, because he is a leader and they know that. Take a look at what happened with Real this season, they weren't that bad but definitely a lot worse than the last season and that's because they lost Ronaldo their lost valuable player. I think Juve realized they have one of the best football player in the world in their team so they have to keep the pace with him and upgrade their level of playing.

It isn't worth to spend money on watching Liverpool playing in Camp Now becuase they surely gonna lose. Cheesy Barça is unbeaten at home for 25 matches now. With extra-terrestrial Messi this season, I doubt Liverpool will stand any chance in Semis. Sorry The Reds, no final this year.
Last year, Barcelona lost against Roma with Messi on the pitch after winning the first game 4-1. If a laughable team like Roma were able to beat Barca, what makes you team that a top team like Liverpool with a far better squad than Roma can't do the same?

So you saying there is no difference between Barcelona squad from last season to this season?
Messi had scored 34 goals in La Liga last season and he's already on 33 this year with 7 matches to go! Certainly he is in best form after 2011/12 season. When Messi is in form, you can expect unexpected. Moreover, Suarez has found net from long distance in last two games, that surely gonna boost his confidence in upcoming matches.
Both Messi and Suarez have won 3 out of the last 4 top goalscorer trophies in La Liga (2016, 2017, 2018), yet they haven't been able to go past the CL quarter-finals since 2015...In the 2011-12 season, Messi scored 50 goals in La Liga, insane record, but Chelsea won the CL that year. So clearly, scoring goals domestically doesn't mean anything, at least for Barcelona.

PS: The little man has promised the crowd during the season start that he will bring CL trophy to Camp Nou.
And? He said last year that he was ready to take the World Cup back to Argentina but he failed pathetically, so what's your point?

Juve were already great before Ronaldo. They dominate in Serie A for very long time, they played in UCL final 2 years ago, last year they lost to Reald Madrid in quarterfinals after very difficult fight. Juve already was very solid team. Now with Ronaldo they become even more better. But if they will UCL this season, there is one thing which makes me sad - legend of Juve Buffon isn't in the team anymore and he will end his glorious career without UCL title...

With Arthur and Vidal doing well in midfield, Barcelona's midfield looks too strong this year. On the other side, Salah has been out of touch from last many games. He was hardly able to score one goal after 8 PL matches! So when your main striker isn't scoring and you are expected to face Barcelona in Semis, you can't just expect to win via defence!

Massive game tomorrow night, my belovec LFC take on Porto in the 1/4 final 1st leg at Anfield. As ever, I’ll be there cheering on my boys!

(Sorry about the dirty finger nails Cheesy)

I think we’ll get a lead tomorrow to take to Porto for the 2nd leg. I won’t be going to that, the flights are ridiculous prices.

2-0 or 3-0 LFC
If you will fly to Porto maybe can't back cause  of Brexit
Easy win LFC i guess
semifinal against Man.United will be kind of war

Spurs vs Man City - Both teams to score
Playing it safe, huh? I think I'm gonna take some risks and go for Spurs win @4.00 (have some bankroll to make dumb bets lol)

But I'm sure you'll be willing to go to Barcelone for the semi's flight prices regardless (as it seems pretty you can afford it), If it eventually happens that both Barcelona and Liverpool make it through this round ?

the match was almost balanced, but at the end of the end Tottenham showed a declining appearance in the domestic league, and the mancity I thought was more focused on UCL this season because even though it was only 1 point adrift of Liverpool. UCL final will be a realistic target for mancity.

Don't know why but I am getting the gut feeling that Tottenham will beat Man City in quarters. All depends upon first leg and with new stadium and latest PL win in pocket, I feel Tottenham is capable enough to beat Man City. Also match against Swansea City around 20 days ago shown that Man City isn't as inevitable as we think it is.
