Ajax vs Juve looks like a good match, but the italians shouldn't have any problems.
Spurs vs Man City. Meh, I didn't want a EPL game but oh well...
So Liverpool and Porto again in the KO stages. Let's not forget that Liverpool scored 5 goals against Porto last year, I'm expecting more of the same.
Man Utd vs Barcelona. Best game in the quarter finals, but looks like a tough game for United.

We could have a Juventus vs City in the semis, or Barcelona vs Liverpool, or what I want to see: Manchester United vs Liverpool Shocked

Can we expect better matches, only on paper Ajax and Porto are weaker teams by team value, but dont underestimate them.

Liverpool are highly favored candidates . but in the Champions League there is always drama in every match. if in the drawing meets like ManCity (eng team) it will be tricky because liverpool and Mancity if running a match the results are always difficult to predict. hopefully moh salah and sadio mane becomes the differentiator in each match they go through in to the final.

The underdogs are always the worst opponents at this stage of football, I hope you still haven't forgotten about what just happened to Real Madrid and also particularly what happened to FC Barcelona during the previous campaign. AS Roma was the underdog of the stage.

I kinda like this, mainly because the 'underdogs' (porto and ajax) will play against each other meaning that one of them will make it to the semis and could potentially cause a big upset and make it to the final. But on the other hand, I want the favorites to face each other in the semis (Pool, City, Barca, Juve) so each will have to draw a "weaker" team...

Either way, with 5 top teams (including Man Utd), there's no way that we won't a big match in the quarter-finals, I'd like to see Barcelona vs Liverpool, they haven't played against each other since 2007.

Barcelona just destroyed OL at home by 5-1.Barcelona made it so easy and guess who played most well. Of course it is Leo Messi who scored 2 and assist 2.So,first Ronaldo and now messi, these two are on fire at the right moment when the club need them most.Though the duty of Ronaldo was tougher because it was ATM.Let's see who can win the trophy of UCL 18-19.

Champions League is playground for the richest teams in Europe. Porto and Ajax did superbly to come this far but their journey will stop here. They were lucky with the draw and current situation at opposing clubs. If Zidane came to Real a weak before, Ajax would probably be out of the competition. Don't get me wrong here, Ajax played superbly and deserved their win but you can only play as much as your opposition allows you.

I favored the Premier League team this year.

The EPL has diminished in quality over the last decade as more star players tend to play in Spain instead. I don't blame them, Spain has much better weather instead of dreary England. Cheesy

Not much to say about Lyon's defeat except I expected better.
They had a few opportunities in the beginning of the first half and of the second. I also think there was no penalty on Suarez. He walked on Denayer looking for a foul.
But you can't argue with a 5-1 loss. Barca played well, Messi was brilliant again.

Glad to see Liverpool go through. I think they have a very good team, better than last year's definitely.
Now the race is clearly open for everyone. Juve, LFC, Barca and City look to be the top four teams but we've seen lots of surprises this season so you never know.

4 British teams vs 4 other teams. It looks like this could be the year British teams actually go home with a cup. I honestly do not think United could go any further, it is a wonder how they managed to actually beat PSG and it feels like a fluke on PSG's end but I honestly feel like they can't move further unless they face Porto in which case it could be in their favor.

Aside from that Juventus and Barcelona seems like they are great candidates for championship and Ajax and Dortmund are not that bad but I feel like its either going to be City/liverpool or Barcelona/Juventus .

Now, Juventus took advantage of having Cristiano Ronaldo a lot and he helped that team become an elite team, without him they are not that good at all if you ask me so its going to be tough to rely on one guy after all this but it all depends on the draw. If big teams like say City and Liverpool or Juventus and Barcelona faces each other chances of British team winning the cup changes drastically.
