Carlo Ancelotti with his wealth of football knowledge should have done better with his tactical approach to this match. Madrid's defense was sole focusing on one player which is Erling Haaland and that was why City's other attacking players were getting chances to score.
Also after Antonio Rudiger's performance in the first leg of the tie it was expected that he starts today's match but Ancelotti rather went for his preferred first choice defender Eder Militao. Congratulations to Manchester Manchester City for qualifying for their second champions league final

Carlo Ancelotti ruined the game for Real Madrid with his wrong choice of strategy and players. Rudiger should have started, Rodrgyo should have come in as a substitute, Camavinga should have been moved from left back the moment that Ancelloti saw that Silva was having the better of him, Modric should not have started the second half. Real Madrid were embarrassed in England, they could not even score one goal all through the game.

You are right. Carlo Ancelotti also seems to have misjudged because he thinks that only Haaland is dangerous at Man City. Even though all of Man City's attack line players have the same ability and ambition in scoring goals. Bayern also made the same mistake in the quarter-finals. i.e. they were too focused on stopping Haaland's advance. and they forget that the other Man City attacking players also have the same sharpness in scoring goals.

But actually Man City's victory by scoring 4 goals in this match was completely unexpected. I also thought Man City would win but I didn't imagine with such a big score. but apart from all that I congratulate Manchester City for successfully qualifying for the Final. And this is their dream for a long time. just one step away for Man City to lift the UCL trophy for the first time for them.

Yep, Man City won the match with big scores (4 goals without conceding a single goal). This simply showed everyone that they are ready to win UCL trophy this season. Sadly for Real Madrid that they couldn't play as well as in Leg 1, there are too many chances for Man City players to score in this Leg. I'm sure this bad result because some Real Madrid players aren't in good condition, I even heard 3 main players got injured several days ago. They may play today but they can't perform at their best because they have a problem with their fitness. Sure, we can't blame Ancelotti, he actually has put Real Madrid best players but Man City is too strong today. Even Rudiger played since the first half, I'm not sure Real Madrid can win the match. We must admit that the current Man City squad is perfect, they have top players in every line.

Real Madrid players are too focused on Haaland, that's why Haaland has no chance to contribute during the match. But this is a big mistake, they made Haaland can't contribute but they make other players have more opportunities to score. Real Madrid defenders shouldn't focus on a single player only, they must keep attention to all opponent players.

Football is a game that doesn't always prioritize luck even if there is a bit of gambling, but apart from Manchester City's good performance at the Etihad and Real Madrid's failure to score there is something interesting that I see in Pep Guardiola's optimism.
I don't see Real Madrid last season as the king of comebacks, but they benefited or the team who got lucky in difficult situations every time they faced the team they were playing against.

I see Real Madrid not only losing the game but Real Madrid losing to Man City from early season readiness as well. We can see Man City is more prepared from squad depth and transfers from the start of the season, Man City knows what is needed and they bring in these players. Meanwhile, Real Madrid already knows there are a lot of matches, a busy schedule compared to last season, but they have not prepared a good player transfer as a coating for Real Madrid's core players. I think that Real Madrid next season will have to make a major overhaul, from the coaches to the players, if there is no reshuffling Real Madrid next season will be unable to compete with the Laliga and UCL teams.

Infact, the previous match (first leg) really gave Ancelotti' the Ego to boast his players thinking he could make out with a win this time around. Mancity is in a fine form that'll take very refined players to conquer on a win against them... secondly, Ancelotti' wouldn't have choosed to use the same strategy that made him conceive 4 goals again girona.
We'll only be waiting for 10th of June to decide the winner of the year's CL.

Ancelotti, who tends to use the same strategy for Real Madrid in every match, made Pep Guardiola easily create the right strategy to break Ancelotti's strategy. And it was proven that in this match, especially in the midfield, Real Madrid really struggled and lost a lot of balls in this match.

Man City can always perform more optimally in every home game. Not only in the UCL but also in the premier league. So it's not surprising that Real Madrid had a lot of trouble when they faced Man City, who were the hosts. because last season Man City also managed to beat Real Madrid in the first leg and even then Man City became the host.

The likes of Modric, Kross and Benzema are aging they can't keep with the pace of the game thus lack sharpness it was evident in today's match, Man City capitalized on that and took total control of the midfield as well as kept most of the possessions consequently were well rewarded with 4 goals, Real Madrid tactic was to launch counterattack through pacy Vinicius Jr unfortunately that tactic couldn't work, I think this the end of era of some old Real Madrid players I hope Ancelloti start rebuilding a new set of stars for the team, congratulations to Man City for reaching yet another UCL champion league final I hope they win it this time around.

Madrid's scheme last season was not used for this season because Pep is also sure to be able to anticipate that.
On the other hand, Madrid's defense was also really lax in this match and of course their midfield also couldn't do anything because it was already covered by 5 Manchester City midfielders who really played very well especially when there were KDB and Gundogan as the masterminds of their attack.

Talking about Manchester City's home matches from the top 16 to the semi-finals, this time they always kept a clean sheet and see how many goals they scored. Against Leipzig they won 7-0, at home to Bayern they won 3-0 and now Madrid with 4-0. it is a very good achievement for Pep and Manchester City.

City didn't show their true game, I think this was part of Pep's plan. I mean, the scenario is that Pep reads the weaknesses of Madrid. after that, they will play it out at the Etihad Stadium with a different strategy. evidently, the goals scored were not from Haaland but by other players.

Seriously am worried about both the lose and the goal they conceded, have seen different posts on the forum here talking about real Madrid being the king of champions league, but the king of champions league were disgraced today at Etihad stadium, we know Manchester city is having home advantage but why will real Madrid conced that kind of goal, Real Madrid were humiliated today at Etihad, 4-0 that's a disgrace to Real Madrid. Manchester city performance was nice today, real Madrid performed poorly today, I didn't believe real Madrid will perform poorly in today's match, I was thinking it will be a difficult match for the both team, but it was a easy win for Manchester city.

In this case it is visible because I still believe that whichever club between Madrid and Manchester City wins for this semi-final then they will lift the trophy.
Now it's another final for Manchester City and they can't afford to waste it but on the other hand when Manchester City are in the final there are always distractions for them to bring the trophy and it also happened a few seasons before, they have to prepare more mentally when they are in the final even though Inter can still be said to be below them now but when it comes to experience they have the advantage.

It seems to have been revised because I saw Akanji's name there but it doesn't matter who scored the goal whether it was an own goal or purely from Akanji's goal still it was like a lock for Manchester City's victory because after that they were comfortable and it was seen from their condition that seemed to be playing around when entering the final minute.
This was the revenge from last season that Manchester City seemed to be waiting for and indeed they were successful in this revenge.
I'm quite upset with the result but indeed Manchester City seem to be on a different level don't know if they are too strong or indeed Madrid have dropped in terms of performance for this season.

Real Madrid are not king of miracle, they were just luck gave them an opportunity to used their chances, instead of it to be wasted as shot on target, they use it to score goal and that was how they move to the final but Manchester City were ready for that mistake not to happen agaain. Manchester City played Real Madrid and litereally took everything away from them, I can count number of times the camera show Manchester CIty players but Cotois was having pressure from every angle, Manchester City were using there attackers to tackle Real Madrid and the rest where defending and yet I don't know how Manchhester City got Real Madrid easily.

Manchester City's game was perfect tonight. Winning on all fronts from goalkeepers, midfielders and forwards and winning in all phases of the match starting from the first half the Man City players managed to dominate the game, create and finish opportunities well.

Likewise in the second half, when Man City players had to defend more, but Man City still appeared solid at the back. There was only a slight change in tactics from coach Pep Guardila, Man City did not always control the ball throughout the game, sometimes opportunities and goals were created when defending and counter press/counter attacks on opponents could create goals. The conclusion from this match is that Pep Guardiola is a genius coach!

It seems that the majority of football fans now agree that Manchester City will win the Champions League this season. Even though Inter Milan cannot be underestimated because this team has an extraordinary defensive strategy that is rarely owned by other teams. And now Inter Milan also has a very sharp line of attack. So that the Inter Milan vs Man City Final match will also be fierce. But I also predict that Man City will lift the trophy this season.

Entering the second half Ancelotti tried to apply an open strategy, but they were unable to do anything because Man City was increasingly pressing and did not stop attacking, so Manuel Akanji's goal in the 76th minute put Real Madrid even more under pressure and in the end Julian Alvarez completed Man City's victory to 4 -0. This victory makes Man City a strong candidate to win the Champions League this season because Inter Milan is much easier for Man City to face.

It was a night that Real Madrid would like to forget about as soon as possible for sure. Manchester City literally erased them tonight by a 4-0 win. Real Madrid had serious holes in their defense above all else. De Bruyne and Foden's amazing through balls leading to goals were great proofs for that as well. Real Madrid couldn't balance their weak side by being more effective at scoring goals either. I didn't see Benzema doing much thing properly and Vinicius also had a bad day this time.

Another interesting point in this matchup was that Haaland literally didn't contribute in any way. He didn't score or make assists and wasted all the opportunities he got. I don't know maybe it had something to do with his being unlucky as well but still this was the case. However Manchester City still showed how determined they were and destroyed their opponent.

The game has been brought to an end with 4-0 goal line in favour of the home team. But 5 - 1 aggregate is quite too much gmfor a champion league giant team like real Madrid.im not even worried about the lose, I'm more worried about the goals they conceded in this stage. but  I wouldn't have blamed Carlo Anceloti completely for the lose if he had started Rudiger cuz I know he came with a game plan which he felt was rightful for the game. He only met a counter plan from Guardiola boys who's performance was quite brilliant and resilient through out the process. I only have problem with the decision of placing Rudiger on the bench
