For last few seasons now, Manchester City has been on great form but they have been so unlucky in the Champions league. This season they are even in a better form and with the addition of Erling Haaland, they seems to be the most favourite for the Champions League.
But the major problem they have is that they have to first eliminate the Ancelotti boys before they could answer Champions. Eliminating those guys whether they are in form or not has never been an easy task. So, that makes that match to appear dreadful.

This is true, but you can't compare the two competitions all too well anyway. In the Champions League a lucky shot can get you eliminated especially in the final when it is only a single game. This shouldn't happen in the domestic competition. When there are 38 games to go, you can tell which of the teams is in best shape more or less. Yes, you're right, Madrid has a winning mentality because they often win the CL league, but that doesn't mean Manchester City doesn't have it either. I have said before that my choice would be to bet on Milan's advancing to the finale. However the recent results of Milan and Inter started to change my mind a little.
