Several coaches, including Guardiola, who have experienced how to play with Madrid, always admit that Ancelotti can always release his players from the opponent's pressure. Therefore, it's not surprising that Pep Guardiola said that if any club wants to win the Champions League trophy, they only need to conquer one thing first, namely to beat Madrid and the road to the trophy is always easier. Even though he is currently being strengthened by Haaland as executor, Pep Guardiola still cannot calm down and is always on his guard.
The time when Guardiola managed Barcelona is very long ago, many years ago and Real Madrid now have a different coach as well as have many new players. Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Camavinga are growing to be new star players of European football. Carlo Ancelotti is a different coach than Jose Mourinho who faced with Guardiola in a few past seasons.

Guardiola himself has changed his philosophy and we witness less weird squad choosing decisions from Pep Guardiola in the last two seasons. Especially in this season, he prioritizes stability in Manchester City squad for Champions League matches. I think Pep just realized that he does not need to make shock changes in his squad in order to win big matches in Champions League.

Haaland is like a very necessary supplement for Guardiola and Manchester City to win Champions League and they soon will know that how Haaland can help them in two semi finals with Real Madrid. Their semi finals will be direct competition between two world-class strikers from two different generations, old and young, Benzema and Haaland.

Guardiola should be looking for the best alternative and means to get Real Madrid out of the Champions League this season by now. For several years, the club has been a threat to him winning the trophy. He should have mastered their strategy by now and be able to defeat Real Madrid in the league this time around.

Pep Guardiola said the UCL was very difficult because Real Madrid was there. And it would be easy if Real Madrid didn't participate in the UCL, Madrid is a dangerous club in the UCL. So it's too much if we say Manchester City can get that from Real Madrid even though it has the potential to be won by Man City.

If we look at Real Madrid's performance this season, it's not that good, but in the UCL they will do everything they can to win the game. We will see how a Benzema gives encouragement to his colleagues when conditions are down. He always motivates young players. Because the spearhead of Real Madrid is in these young players. It's just that they need serious motivation in a downturn.
I appreciate what Guardiola said, it is true although it seems a little exaggerated. Real Madrid always becomes a tough opponent in UCL and they have great luck in UCL matches. In some matches, most people think Real Madrid will be eliminated, but they can come back and qualify for the next round. Even in the final round, Real Madrid often wins the match in injury time. It shows us that they have good luck, have a great mentality, and never give up until the end of the match. That's why they are very strong in UCL match.

They failed in La Liga but they succeed in Copa Del Rey. At UCL, they performed quite well. So, it is a big mistake if people underestimate Real Madrid, they are still a favorite team for the title.

indeed in the end matches in the Champions League will sometimes show different performances from these two teams. because everyone will fight their best in the Champions League. but now I congratulate Real Madrid for winning the Copa Del Rey trophy. And it is possible that the victory in the Copa del Rey will add to the motivation and mentality of the Real Madrid players to beat Man City. And I agree that every match in the Champions League is always difficult to predict, especially the semi-final match which is 3 days away.

Osasuna is not Manchester City, and even if Real Madrid comfortably defeats Osasuna in the Copa de Rey final, that does not increase their confidence in their ability to defeat Manchester City. Real Madrid can be inspired by their Copa de Rey victory, but they still need to improve upon their performance they showcased against Osasuna in the final game. Similar to how the Manchester City team is different from Osasuna, the Premier League is different from La Liga. They can't be compared because they play football in very different ways.

A pretty new article by sportsmople.co.uk states Manchester City is essentially complete and all are healthy except for Nathan Ake, but there is a possibility that he will be back in time and Cole Palmer, but that was to be expected as it seems. On Madrid's side I believe that they are almost complete as well. Modric had his minutes against Osasuna as well and should be ready for Manchester. There are no serious excuses regarding missing players and we an be looking forward to a lot of action.

This match is probably more anticipated than the Champions League final itself, on the one hand it's cool, on the other it's only a semi-final... Rooney has expressed his opinion, he thinks Manchester City will "roll" over Real Madrid, it's a different level. It's hard to disagree with him, I can't say who will win, but it's a different level...

I think the first game can be quite key. But I doubt that Manchester City will roll over Real Madrid in the first leg. It depends on the minor factors. Will Haaland use his chances? Will he hit the woodwork instead of the back of the net? It is possible that Manchester City plays an amazing game and takes a huge lead right after the first leg, but I would not be shocked if this game is much closer and Real Madrid could even take a 1 goal lead. They are not nobodies. Sometimes Manchester City does have problems and they can get under pressure. It is not like they always score a first dream goal like they did against Bayern Munich. Then the game could be tied for a much longer time.

Being a semi-final is a bit bad on the one hand because everyone would wish for a final with these two teams, on the other hand we can watch the game twice. Wink
Manchester city could flop it all by thinking to keep attacking to defend at the first leg away from home but then get slipped to get the counter attack from real madrid and conceded the goal first , i expect real madrid to win in the first leg by 1 goal difference but then manchester city win it in the second leg.

This is the hardest choice of the season to pick which one , i'll just straight to go for real madrid due its high odds Grin

Seeing nathan ake's performance in the previous matches and i think that he is not yet fully recovered. nathan ake was just recovering from his injury but he was able giving score for manchester city which is very good.

Quote
After an ideal first half for City that saw Ilkay Gundogan score twice to put them into a commanding lead, Ake went down off the ball in the 54th minute and needed treatment.

The Dutch defender looked to be holding his left calf and could not continue, with Kyle Walker coming on to replace him.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12054523/Man-Citys-Nathan-Ake-injured-just-three-days-Real-Madrid-clash.html

It's very bad to see him gets injury again. pep should not force him to play. He is good defenders but i think that if kyle walker is good enough to replace him against real madrid.

Nathan ake is always become the most important part for manchester city. I think that if it's over 90% nathan won't play against madrid. It's a big loss for manchester city even though city had many capable defenders to replace him.

He is very right for saying that because for several years Real Madrid has posed to be a very tough opponent in this tournament, going against the toughest of opponents in Europe and conquering them all, the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Liverpool, PSG, Chelsea etc they have become a threat to every other team in the competition so I am not shocked hearing this from Guardiola himself.

Madrid is not a new opponent for Pep in this matter so of course he already has a full picture of what he has to do now but the problem is the condition of Madrid which is always surprising in the competition that is done so the scheme that Pep does can always be broken.
Now they have to keep trying to organize so that the strategy that is done works well.
There is some hope for players like Mahrez, KDB and Haaland now for them.

Mendy still has Camavinga for them. The problem is that when Modric leaves, there will definitely be some conditions which are indeed very difficult, considering that Modric's performance will clearly make a difference. Even though there are players like Tchouameni or Ceballos there, this is still a bit of a problem.
The first leg is clear Modric is definitely going but on the other hand with yesterday's win in the Copa del Rey it will definitely lift their spirits.
For Manchester City there is some news about De Bruyne who is already able to play and will definitely be there for the first leg later and this will obviously be very difficult for Madrid.
I totally agree that Lukas Modric's departure whenever it happens will make a huge difference even with the presence of Tchouameni or Ceballos, either of these players cannot match Modric's brilliance and work rate in the team. If Kevin De Bruyne makes the first leg it will definitely boosts Manchester City's advantage going into the game.

This is a very strong match and I know that both teams are ready to be on the battle field on Tuesday. Manchester city is a very strong team this season and we can see how their performance is from their domestic league,as they are first on the table. They have great and experience players that will fit in for Real Madrid in the semifinals.

This performance is not only in their domestic league but they’ve also dominated the champions league with such performance and that’s what has brought them this far in the league. Manchester City should be one of the best teams in European football currently, they’ve demonstrated and proven that, which is what makes this match more difficult to Real Madrid to just win and proceed to the final.

In fact, both are equally strong teams, the match is almost here and I think Pep Guardiola and also from the Real Madrid team have prepared their strategy for this meeting , even though so far Manchester City is a very strong team in the primary league among its rivals, we don't think it has made Real Madrid falter at all.

As for Real Madrid,I know that Ancelotti always have a strategy to win any match that he feels is important and will bring honor to the club. This time around it is different because he will face Gadioula who is very experienced in the coaching field but it is not something new to both coach to play against one another in this league. It is going to be a difficult match for both teams.

It is not an easy game but would be very interesting from the first minute to the very last of it
Both have won the weekend games they have
Real Madrid wonnthe finals against osasuna and Man City won against the relegated Leeds united side both sides are likely to score goals

The motivation of the Madrid players multiplied after winning the Copa del Rey. Real Madrid, which acts as the host in leg 1, will certainly be very ambitious to win the match. Armed with sufficient experience in the Champions League, it seems that it will not be difficult for Ancelotti's troops to beat Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu.
I would say Real Madrid lost, that is the best possibility to think about when I compare the current form of the two teams. I consider that Manchester City can impress in the first leg and put pressure on to prevent Real Madrid from finding their best rhythm. So I don't think it's very good to say that Real Madrid can beat Manchester City easily despite the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

I predict this fight will be very tough. The strength of these two teams is very balanced, but for the 1st leg Real Madrid will be able to win that match.
We'll see, but I hope Pep Guardiola has learned a lot since his last defeat to Real Madrid in the semi-finals Champions League the season before.
depending on how you will judge the quality of these two teams it also depends on you in comparing their progress in the champions league this season, I think real madrid is difficult to beat by EPL teams this season in the Champions league because two teams that tried failed to beat real madrid like Chelsea and Liverpool. Now for Manchester City, it is the third team from the EPL which is the next opponent for Real Madrid in the Champions League this season.

Even though Manchester City have a stronger squad this season, I doubt they can beat Real Madrid in the first leg.  because Real Madrid is very strong when playing at home and this will be quite an interesting match to watch.

Real Madrid are a very unpredictable team, man, it is not known for sure what they play because one game is played very well, another is very bad and another is very bad and for some strange reason this team is more dangerous when it is. Doing nothing because with a pretty brilliant game to get a result, Man City have to be serious about playing this match well because from now on I see the England squad but knowing what Real Madrid is like, it's unknown what will happen.

I predict this fight will be very tough. The strength of these two teams is very balanced, but for the 1st leg Real Madrid will be able to win that match.

Only a strong mentality like Real Madrid can beat Pep Guardiola's precise tactics. Because the Champions League is not only about tactics, but also the mentality of the players.

Ancelotti is one of the best coaches and has experience in various top European leagues and with his ability I think Real Madrid are still in full control to win this competition. But before we go any further, they have to beat Manchester City first because Pep Guardiola's squad is the only strongest team left before moving on to the final.
Now that they have won the trophy in the Copa del Rey, of course their ambition is the semi-final first leg at this time and this can be used as a whiplash for their spirits because regardless of anything a win in the domestic league can add confidence for now.
Even so, we also can't just make this sure, especially with conditions that are still very difficult when you see that their current opponent is Manchester City.

There are only a few days left for the match, as much as possible for now they have to maintain their fitness because of course this is the most important thing for them now especially with the busy schedule conditions and this high tension game will drain a lot of energy.

Manchester City are also very blessed with the sharpness of their new striker Erling Haaland, at this time he has appeared so impressive that he is ready to pose a threat to Madrid's bottom line.

I predict this fight will be very tough. The strength of these two teams is very balanced, but for the 1st leg Real Madrid will be able to win that match.

Haaland has his own motivation to make history in English football, which is to become the highest scorer from an English league club in the Champions League. The record for the most goals, held by Van Nistelroy from Man United, is currently at 12 goals. And now, Haaland has equaled that record, giving him a great chance to score more goals in the semi-finals and finals, as Man City is expected to win against Real Madrid.

This is undoubtedly a strong driving force for Haaland to perform even better when facing Madrid's defensive line. Although the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu may be a bit of a draw, when it comes to the second leg at the Etihad Stadium, Man City will be fierce.

Nowadays indeed when talking about Haaland it is endless. His condition is still very young and his performance is always crazy every game, it is very difficult to take eyes off this sensational young player.
He does have the potential to break his record, but on the other hand the main focus remains at this time to bring Manchester City because regardless of anything of course the overall team record will be better if compared to individual records.

The bookmakers rate Real Madrid and Man City equally high, at least in the match in Madrid. These 2 teams have played against each other a few times in recent years, the numbers speak in favor of City. It is also not for nothing that the bookmakers estimate City to be very high to conquer the title this season. Still, it wouldn't be a surprise to me if Madrid went through to the final. 5 titles won in the last 10 years, who else can ever do that again? The counter at City is at 0, and for the last 5-6 years they have been the favorites every time together with teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid PSG, Bayern Munich and Liverpool. I don't expect much excitement at the matches of the teams from Milan.

after the game Luka Modric was interviewed and he said , he's happy they win the Copa del Rey but but they have not time to celebrate, because of thr champions league game ahead on Tuesday. To me Real Madrid is still favourite to win the title again this season.  Real Madrid see champions league as Their personal trophy.  Any team that can win Real Madrid is already champion in this league. Playing home is another advantage for Real Madrid, they just have to score first and defend it. Ancelotti knows more about Manchester city partner of game and as experienced coach he will win Manchester city home an away. It's possible with Real Madrid
As a veteran Luka Modric can set an example for his team-mates and fortunately besides Modric there is also Kroos, and Benzema. These three players are friends and mentors on the pitch for the young Real Madrid squad and I think that while they are around the rest of the players will remain calm and strong mentally. Maybe because Real Madrid has won the Champions League so many times, they don't even want to take it for granted and they keep doing their job until it's finished.

Ancelotti is one of the best coaches and has experience in various top European leagues and with his ability I think Real Madrid are still in full control to win this competition. But before we go any further, they have to beat Manchester City first because Pep Guardiola's squad is the only strongest team left before moving on to the final.
