Real and Man City were supposed to be the final match, but it just so happens that they will meet in the semi-finals... The second semi-final is also interesting because there will be a Milan derby, which is very hard to guess who can win... But I have no doubts that Real Madrid will play in the final...
Madrid is indeed reliable based on quality and experience but somehow I believe more in Manchester City
To be honest I'm tired of seeing Madrid dominance in the Champions League , I want to see a new winner this season
among other teams Manchester City is closer in my opinion but let's see how it ends.
I agree with you. I'm annoyed by watching Real Madrid dominate the Champions League. I want a new team to be champions. I would be happiest if AC Milan or Manchester City were champions. Manchester City management is trying hard to win the Champions League title. They spent a lot of money. Star players have been recruited. Guardiola has appointed experienced coaches. Even then the team is not able to win the Champions League. I will be happy if Manchester City wins the Champions League title this season.

If you ask me, City deserve to be champions in this competition. why, because they have it. it's just that, the question is, can Pep Guardiola's team play consistently. if yes, they deserve it. but to be honest, last night I was a little disappointed. because City is playing more carefully. I know City doesn't want to lose this momentum. that's why, in the game vs Bayern, City didn't play as loose as usual.

Talking about the semifinal match later, between Real Madrid vs Manchester City. this is very interesting, these two teams have differences according to my personal perspective. Real Madrid prioritizes the individual actions of its players, while City play more tactically. Both of these teams have their advantages. but if I have to be honest, City deserved to qualify for the final stages of the Champions League. it's not a matter of Madrid always winning this competition and having a winning mentality, but rather the strength of the current team. IMO, City are tougher than Real Madrid at the moment.
well, the question is, which team is more fortunate in this battle. and one of them, has the right to pass to the next phase.

Real Madrid is a complete squad, nothing is missing. Their midfield, although it consists of grandpa Modric and soon to be grandpa Kroos, is still the strongest in the soccer world. They understand so well when to slow down and when to speed up the game. They are technically flawless, their defensive work is crazy good, and their decision making between short passing and long ball behind the opponent's defense is 95% accurate.

This is definitely the preliminary final and I would have preferred to see them play in the final. The advantage now is that we get to see them play against each other twice! Wink
This should be the final match between Madrid and Man City, but because this season they have to fight in the semifinals, Man City or Madrid will qualify for the opponent Inter/Milan will face, so far compared to Madrid or Man City, of course the results are clear in front. eye. therefore the process of drawing the top 8 tends to be unbalanced. Apart from that all this season Man City has Haaland who is hungry for goals. In the match against Bayern Leg 2, it was as if he felt that he had not had enough on an aggregate and Haaland game was very aggressive to overthrow Bayern. Now, especially in the match against King of UCL, of course Haaland will make this match an opportunity that will not be wasted.

And Manchester City, not Real Madrid, will be the next champion of the Champions League. Despite Real Madrid's dominance and experience in the champions league, Manchester City has a higher chance of defeating Real Madrid.
Real Madrid vs. Manchester City will be an interesting match to watch, and I can't wait to see how it turns out since Manchester City will play with all of their might to get revenge for their most recent champions league denial of lifting the champion league trophy at the hands of Real Madrid last season.

I also seem to be predicting that Man City will advance to the final later. Because I see that Pep Guardiola seems to have started to take the UCL seriously this year (maybe next). Pep has started to want to change his ball possession philosophy for the sake of victory. I'm not ashamed to do all out defense and chase counter attacks.

Seen from Bayern Munich's opponent. Compared to last season, I was really disappointed that I won 2-0 on aggregate against Real Madrid and Real Madrid even managed to make a comeback. Last year Pep still wanted the league, now it's different. I think there is still hope that this year Man City beat Real Madrid.
Making it to the semifinals is not completely safe for Manchester City because in the semi-finals Real Madrid is the opponent they will face.
Let's analyze a little about who will qualify for the final between Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Manchester City's best achievement in the Champions League is runner up in the 2020/2021 season.
At that time Manchester City lost against Chelsea with a score of 0-1 and the only Chelsea winning goal was scored by Kai Havertz in the 42nd minute.
Manchester City's Journey Prior to reaching the final, the club coached by Pep at that time were in group C with Porto which qualified for the round of 16 and in that round Man City managed to beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0 on aggregate.

Continue to the final quartel round. In this round, Manchester City also had to go through a challenge against Bundesliga representatives, namely Dortmund.
Pep's team worked hard to beat them 2-4 on aggregate.
Likewise, in the semifinals Manchester City managed to enter the final with a convincing aggregate goal over PSG.

This season, Pep Guardiola has a bigger chance to present the UCL trophy even though their opponent is Real Madrid.
This time Real Madrid, in my opinion, will recognize the strength of Pep Guardiola's team even though their history is superior.
I feel that European football is no longer in favor of Real Madrid with various considerations.

As it is now, Manchester City are the favorite to win the Champions League, they have been after this title for a very long time, they are unstoppable at the moment, Real Madrid has been lucky when it comes to the champions league, even when they are not performing too well, they still have that luck of winning the champions league. But this time is a different ball game, because Manchester City will definitely stop them this time around, Manchester city are the best team in the whole of euro this season and with their performance game after games just prove it all.
After Real Madrid eliminated Manchester City in in the semifinals of last season's UEFA Champions League competition, I know City who was without their current goal scoring machine must have prayed for a day like this again to take their revenge on the competition's most successful club and that wish must have escalated after they confirmed the signature of Erling Haaland.
Real Madrid undoubtedly, is not a team to frighten with how good of a side City are because they know how to keep teams away from outscoring them in matches but that I think wouldn't happen this time around. Madrid might not be battered but surely they're gonna be eliminated by Manchester City in the semi finals.

I don't think there was much that Napoli could do against AC Milan yesterday. AC Milan clearly is more experienced in the Napoli hence after beating Napoli in their local League they already knew how well to contain and play Napoli. They understood their role as the team seen as the underdog in the game and played their role very well to beat Napoli.

Real Madrid will be preparing to play with Manchester City or Bayern Munich, while AC Milan will be preparing to play Benfica or Inter Milan. It is still difficult to predict the teams that will be in the finals, but AC Milan have a very good chance.
It's really unfortunate that Napoli, who was predicted to be the dominant club to qualify for the semi-finals, had to accept the fact that they were defeated by Milan. Even on paper Milan performed poorly in several matches. Napoli has buried their dream of returning, but Milan needs to be wary of their move in the semi-final against either Benfica or Inter. On the other hand, Real Madrid will prepare for all eventualities where the opponent is confirmed to be Manchester City. As a club that is on an ideal path, it is possible that Manchester City will overwhelm Madrid a little.
Aight, so we talkin' bout Real Madrid vs Manchester City, huh? That's gonna be one lit match, fo sho. I mean, both crews are pretty dope, if you ask me.

But let's not forget that Real Madrid is the reigning UCL king. That's gotta mean somethin', right? They know how to slay in them big games, and they got some serious ballers on their squad. I ain't sayin' it's gonna be a breeze, but I'm hella confident about Real Madrid's chances.

And as for Manchester City, well, they a beast, no doubt. But they ain't invincible. Real Madrid just gotta stick to their game plan and play to their strengths. If they do that, I think they got a real chance at snatching that victory

Cheesy I stick to what I said before, you are taking like a commentator but now with a kind of youth slang! You are among the few whose posts are very entertaining to read! Are you giving a Twitch livestream show on soccer games? Tongue

Sadly I am out of smerits so I can't send some your way, just so you know.

Regarding the two teams, I don't know how much it means that Real Madrid is the reigning UCL king. There is a difference between this season and the last season. Hands down, but last season Real Madrid was lucky. The chances they were given against PSG and Manchester City last season, that doesn't happen two years in a row. Donnaruma's mistake last year when Benzema scored at a time when PSG had 99% control over the game. Or the two goals by Rodrygo when one goal was deflected and hit the back of the net against City. It is what it is, but Real Madrid has almost never been the better team in the KO stage last year.

This is very different this year. I didn't expect Real Madrid to be that solid, but they actually are very solid. Three months ago I didn't think they were my personal favorite, but now it is a 50/50 game to me between them and City. I said it before, if I were forced to give someone an edge over the others, I would pick Manchester City, but only a few %. I said 55/45, but I would probably even go lower than that. More like 52/48 just to express that there is an almost invisible, but existent tendency inside me to lean towards City.

Real Madrid is a complete squad, nothing is missing. Their midfield, although it consists of grandpa Modric and soon to be grandpa Kroos, is still the strongest in the soccer world. They understand so well when to slow down and when to speed up the game. Both Real Madrid and Manchester City have great potential. So this semi-final match of the Champions League will be full of great competition. However, I will put Manchester City ahead, but there is no chance of taking Real Madrid lightly.

The road to the 2023 UEFA Champions League final is over for Bayern Munchen. Whereas "the panzer" were my favourite. Real Madrid are of course the scariest team in the Champions League, but Real Madrid is not as strong as last year. Also Manchester City is quite good compared to last year. And there is Haaland in their squad who is their new weapon this season. So I think Pep, his dream of winning the Champions League is getting closer to possible.

I disagree with you. If Real Madrid play well enough and perhaps best in Champions League, they are actually deserved to win it. I don't have issue to see Real Madrid are the champion year by year if they are strongest team in Champions League. Like the past season, Real Madrid did make many impressive comebacks which are not only come from luckiness but from their efforts and strong mentality.

In this season, they are showing the same things and they will re-meet Manchester City that look to be stronger than in the past season too. Their semi finals would be very exciting and they are probably stronger than either AC Milan or Inter Milan. By that I meant, Real Madrid / Manchester City, who are winner will be favorite to win the title rather than AC Milan / Inter Milan.

If we discard my dislike for City, then I could agree with Iranus, but not specifically that a new champion is needed, but that the Champions League almost every year to the 1/4 stage is already a repetition of the past. Even this season when Benfica and Napoli have gone so far (and Inter have a chance) we see the same thing. For example, Real last season in the playoffs played with Liverpool, Chelsea and City - and this year we see the same thing.
On the one hand, it's cool to see such confrontations that become historical, on the other hand, there is some element of boredom in this.

Real madrid was the most favorite club and then manchester city was on the second place. Real madrid may become the only team that can prevent manchester city to win UCL this season. What are you talking about? real madrid was only lucky? Are you joking about that? Which match that has proven if real madrid was only lucky? 14 times UCL winners. you must be joking to call real madrid was only lucky enough in UCL. Real madrid was a team with most UCL trophies.
Real Madrid have won the Champions League many time and it is like they know how to win it whenever they are in it. They have also eliminated many English teams from this competition even in this season, they have players that do not need too many touches on the ball to score and a team that can soak up pressure and win games with the smallest opportunity they have, these are all similar to Manchester City. That game is not easy to predict but Real Madrid have what it takes to stop Manchester City.

Yes london is white not blue. That's what today's UCL results look like. Chelsea can't even seize the opportunity to play at home. They have very many experiments. But they are ineffective. Madrid had six shots on goal and two goals. Chelsea is made like an amateur club. Rodrigo became the star with two goals. I don't know if the semi-finals will be drawn again? It seems to be interesting.

It should be noted the fact that for the first time in a long time two teams in the series A reached the semifinals and both from Milan and both playing in the same stadium. Still, if the semi-final appearance of Real Madrid or Manchester City was expected, then I suppose no one thought they would see Milan and Inter in the semifinals. If they were expecting an Italian team, everyone was expecting Napoli, not Milan or Inter.

So it should be noted that despite the strange matches that occur from time to time in Serie A, still the level of the championship is steadily growing, since so many teams from Italy storming the Champions League and Europa League.

Try to say something that makes sense rather than calling a club only depends on luck with its club won UCL 14 times.
Manchester city was just a team that was performing better in this season but real madrid is in another level. A club with 0 ucl was not comparable with club that has ever won 14 times UCL.
Real madrid aims to win UCL again after it was getting it last year.

It's really hard to predict that Manchester City will be the favorite team to win the UCL this season. Real madrid has a strong mentality and experience that is no longer in doubt in the champions league. Even the depth of Real Madrid squad is almost the same as last season, maybe they only lost Casemiro figure and that's not a negative thing for Real Madrid because they still showed their best strength when they beat their opponents in the Champions League.

For Manchester City, they are targeting the Champions League as their first trophy, which they have been waiting for for quite a long time. no doubt Pep Guardiola will try hard to present to Manchester City first UCL trophy if they manage to beat Real Madrid and enter the final.

The highly anticipated semi-final match between Real Madrid and Man City. The winner of this match will definitely be considered the Champion by a large percentage. Real Madrid has been fortunate enough to make it this so far, having faced off against Liverpool in the last 16 who have not in form, and having a bad season. If City manages to claim victory over Real Madrid, then AC Milan/Inter will have no chance of taking home the trophy. I believe that it's finally time for Manchester City to lift up UCL trophy.
Everyone is optimistic that Manchester City will win the Champions League, in fact Manchester City has even reached the final several times but failed. So this time it's back again that football is full of unexpected surprises like Napoli which was thought to qualify but in fact, had to turn around. From a game standpoint, we admit that Manchester City is the best this season, plus Haaland, who is the key executor, clearly cannot be underestimated. But is that enough? we are not only talking about the aspect of play or quality because in terms of the UCL mentality of course the Madrid players are much more used to it and know what they are doing now against big clubs as well as very dangerous opposing players. So even though most people favor Manchester City, I think there is still a gap that Madrid can occupy to stay ahead despite their instability in La Liga.

I agree that Guardiola has the tendency to overcomplicate things when he is close to reaching something big, this was also to be seen in the Champions League final of 2021 against Chelsea in my opinion. So i think it would be best now for ManCity to not change up to many things and to not try out  new special things just for the match up against Real Madrid. Just keep the momentum and the confidence that the team is having in themself at the moment and then i think the chances to advance into the final are the highest. I still think tough, that Real is a very dangerous opponent. Yes their CL win last year was a very lucky one but this year they seem stronger and in the quarterfinal they totally dominated Chelsea.

The Real Madrid - Chelsea game was more like Chelsea dominating possession while Madrid scores, chelsea were the dominate team in both legs but what good is possession if you don't score, the better team is always the one who scores at the end of the day. tbh Real Madrid will be the underdogs in the semi-final match against City because the City side is the most dangerous and complete team without any weak links, the Real Madrid backline is a shithole and Halaand will have so much fun with them.

City just have to kill off the game with their chances because Madrid can be so dangerous with their opportunities. Madrid only needs three decent chances to convert tw0 which has been their stronghold this season.

It will be another fight worthy of the final, City looks stronger now, but Real are also good now, and they are usually always good in the Champions League, Ancelotti is also a good coach. Guardiola is no worse, but he has such a tendency that he is one step away from the title, let's see if he can win this time. In the other semi-final we will see two derbies, it looks like it will be two very difficult and tough matches.

Pep deserves this one, he hasn't given up, he has instilled a winning mentality into Manchester City, they actually believe they are a big club. But beating Real Madrid in the UCL is a very difficult task. Manchester city have developed well since the last time they faced Real Madrid but one thing about this Madrid side is their mentality. The mental factor is likely to play a large role, with Real Madrid supremely confident in Europe.

You are right. Guardiola also complicates simple things. In the past, we have also seen Guardiola apply new match tactics in important matches. The results are very dangerous. It is not easy for the team to perform new tactics. But if the players are able to adapt themselves well to the new strategy, defeating the opponent will not be difficult. But it is too risky. I think Guardiola will take that risk again against Real Madrid. He will gamble with luck.
