I don't think there was much that Napoli could do against AC Milan yesterday. AC Milan clearly is more experienced in the Napoli hence after beating Napoli in their local League they already knew how well to contain and play Napoli. They understood their role as the team seen as the underdog in the game and played their role very well to beat Napoli.
Real Madrid will be preparing to play with Manchester City or Bayern Munich, while AC Milan will be preparing to play Benfica or Inter Milan. It is still difficult to predict the teams that will be in the finals, but AC Milan have a very good chance.
It's really unfortunate that Napoli, who was predicted to be the dominant club to qualify for the semi-finals, had to accept the fact that they were defeated by Milan. Even on paper Milan performed poorly in several matches. Napoli has buried their dream of returning, but Milan needs to be wary of their move in the semi-final against either Benfica or Inter. On the other hand, Real Madrid will prepare for all eventualities where the opponent is confirmed to be Manchester City. As a club that is on an ideal path, it is possible that Manchester City will overwhelm Madrid a little.
Aight, so we talkin' bout Real Madrid vs Manchester City, huh? That's gonna be one lit match, fo sho. I mean, both crews are pretty dope, if you ask me.
But let's not forget that Real Madrid is the reigning UCL king. That's gotta mean somethin', right? They know how to slay in them big games, and they got some serious ballers on their squad. I ain't sayin' it's gonna be a breeze, but I'm hella confident about Real Madrid's chances.
And as for Manchester City, well, they a beast, no doubt. But they ain't invincible. Real Madrid just gotta stick to their game plan and play to their strengths. If they do that, I think they got a real chance at snatching that victory
I stick to what I said before, you are taking like a commentator but now with a kind of youth slang! You are among the few whose posts are very entertaining to read! Are you giving a Twitch livestream show on soccer games?
Sadly I am out of smerits so I can't send some your way, just so you know.
Regarding the two teams, I don't know how much it means that Real Madrid is the reigning UCL king. There is a difference between this season and the last season. Hands down, but last season Real Madrid was lucky. The chances they were given against PSG and Manchester City last season, that doesn't happen two years in a row. Donnaruma's mistake last year when Benzema scored at a time when PSG had 99% control over the game. Or the two goals by Rodrygo when one goal was deflected and hit the back of the net against City. It is what it is, but Real Madrid has almost never been the better team in the KO stage last year.
This is very different this year. I didn't expect Real Madrid to be that solid, but they actually are very solid. Three months ago I didn't think they were my personal favorite, but now it is a 50/50 game to me between them and City. I said it before, if I were forced to give someone an edge over the others, I would pick Manchester City, but only a few %. I said 55/45, but I would probably even go lower than that. More like 52/48 just to express that there is an almost invisible, but existent tendency inside me to lean towards City.
Real Madrid is a complete squad, nothing is missing. Their midfield, although it consists of grandpa Modric and soon to be grandpa Kroos, is still the strongest in the soccer world. They understand so well when to slow down and when to speed up the game. They are technically flawless, their defensive work is crazy good, and their decision making between short passing and long ball behind the opponent's defense is 95% accurate.
This is definitely the preliminary final and I would have preferred to see them play in the final. The advantage now is that we get to see them play against each other twice!
