The absence of Victor Osimhen in this Napoli team was the reason for the poor results in recent matches and now that he's back, he's surely gonna provide more attacking options for the  Napoli's teams and improve their performances in their games to come.
Trailing by a goal to nil from the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final tie against AC Milan, Napoli knows that they must win tomorrow's match by a two goal margin to progress and that I think they're capable of doing. AC Milan would not want to be eliminated as well and with the advantage they have already going into the match, it'll take an extraordinary performance from Napoli to eliminate them
I'm not even seeing osimhen as  major factor here... I meannn, he can't Play alone in pitch, can he? So he still needs support as a striker..
Now the problem is that Napoli haven't got a brilliant striker to fit in Osimhen's position perfectly... Without a good striker and a couple of good flankers too, how will they be able to get away with a goal so easily like when Osimhen plays in pitch with them??
Napoli will be playing against Milan tomorrow and ofcourse we'll expecting them to try Thier possible best to win on this.... mostly Since Milan isn't on fine form.

Napoli as we speak is not suffering from poor performance in the flank, their main problem is finishing. Several crosses are wasted,  no good attacker to convert them to goals. when Osimhen was active in the team, every other attackers  ( Mario Roy, Zedadka, Serbin) we're all good. this are players who can give a good support from the flank they all performed exceptionally well as at then, and now things seems so difficult for all of them, how then is Osimhen not a major factor affecting the club's performance?

The Champions League is the only thing Chelsea have left in their hands so they had better prove me wrong about them. I wouldn't say no to watching a competitive game this time. It is up to Lampard's making the right decisions for the game too.
I don't expect Chelsea to make a comeback honestly. The players skills and concentrations are limited from a long time this season and I doubt Lampard's effect could be seen that early.
In the other hand, Real Madrid are the king of comebacks at Champions League by far, how could they let Chelsea pass Wink
In my opinion Napoli vs Milan will be more interesting to follow since Napoli could win that game and even pass to the next stage before playing penalties tho.

Real Madrid are already highly favourite side in the second leg against Chelsea as well in my opinion. Maybe bookmakers don't show them that much favourite but this is the case for me. I expect another win by Real Madrid in Stamford Bridge honestly. It might even be a bigger win like it happened against Liverpool in Anfield. It depends on how focused Chelsea can be in this game.

Personally I think the second leg is really unpredictable. Napoli will certainly play Osimhen from the first half, it will definitely increase their strength in attack. While the two teams have comparable chances even if Milan lead the first leg with a victory. I would not fully think Napoli will fail, but I tend to think Milan can advance to the next round this season.

Anyone can still qualify from this quarter-final stage, but perhaps what is less interesting is that we will again see two Serie A teams likely to batlle in the semi-finals. Inter is very likely to qualify, so one between Napoli and Milan will meet Inter in the semi-finals.
this is what the Napoli coach must pay attention to, if he plays Osimhen to starter then is worried that he will become a target for Milan's back line and has a high chance of getting injured again, especially since leg 2 is what determines which team will continue to the next round

the best decision was to play osimhen in the second half while in the first half napoli had to use a defensive system but I'm sure spalletti has a better strategy than I thought and the match in leg 2 is really worth watching

No team has qualified yet in that tie. It is still pretty open for both teams. AC Milan won the game but Napoli was really good in that match. Now with Osimhen available, it gives Napoli a better chance to qualify. But why has everybody forgotten that Anguissa has been suspended for the second leg after picking up a red card from a second yellow in the first leg?  Anguissa is a very crucial part of the Napoli team and if he's absent then his absence is most defiantly going to be felt by Napoli.
I hope they can find a better alternative or else they will get exploited by Milan

Man City's second leg may have a chance to win. but not to score a lot of goals at home to Munich. indeed Munich is not so good this time, but they will not lose embarrassingly at home to Man City.
but I believe Man City will qualify for the next round. regardless of the outcome of the second leg of Munich vs Man City. they are currently 3 goals ahead. and it won't be easy for Munich to destroy Man City if in the best squad.
Bayern Munich will again face a tough test in the upcoming match against Manchester City in the second leg. trailing 3-0 from the results of the first leg slightly lowered my confidence to bet on bayern munich. Indeed, the quality of the Manchester City team is stronger compared to Bayern Munich and even Manchester City will continue to try to find victory in the second leg even though they are safe enough with an aggregate score of 3-0.

It will be difficult for Tuchel to work a miracle in the second leg considering that several key players are absent in this match. I even think that Sadio Mane may not be used in the second leg after his clash with Leroy Sane.

Napoli vs milan game should be an entertainig one since napoli team lost the first game they will be the ones putting pressure early in the game, it will be a tough game especially with their missing players, but the good thing is that osimhen will probably play so that should give them huge comfort offensively i would say they have a good chance qualifying.

We know that Osimhen is a very important player for Napoli this season. They realized that without Osimhen their performance could not be satisfactory, but that was a disaster for Napoli because they only relied on one player to get maximum results.

Osimhen is unlikely to be in responsible if Napoli fail to win in the second leg, but the player has certainly made a big contribution to his team. So in conclusion, Napoli and Milan still have the same chance of qualifying for the semi-finals regardless of the result of the first leg. The pressure between the two teams is very high and whoever succeeds then they are a team that really deserves it.

Napoli without the osimhen & Kvaratskhelia duo playing full time un the recent matches since 19 march were really bad downturn ... in the last 4 matches they are losing it two times draw once and win it for one time only after the whole season they are nearly become invincible .

Osimhen absence really make a huge impact , this time he is ready to play 90 minutes in a crucial match against ac milan who leading 1 - 0 at the frist leg of UCL , i bet napoli will still fail.

Osimhen left a huge gap, but if you think about it further this is also an indication that Napoli has to do something about next season. It is very difficult to replace players of his category and either they pay him a very high salary or they are going to lose him anyway. His contract runs until 2025, that gives Napoli some options. But it also is complicated because next summer all interested clubs know that Napoli has to sell him if they want to cash in a high transfer fee for him. As you can read his name has already been brought up in connection with many of the top clubs.

About the rematch between Napoli and Milan I feel very positive for Napoli this time. It was the same for the first leg as well by the way but Napoli couldn't become very effective due to lacking Osimhen's finishing skills. But they were still able to create so many goal opportunities. They at least prevented a bigger loss while they were wasting so many chances. But this time things must be more different. I have started to believe in Napoli's advancing to the next stage more than ever thanks to Osimhen's returnal.

I'm just indecisive about if they can eliminate Milan in regular time. It depends on the resistance level of Milan defense actually. But defending hasn't been the best thing they do in this season so we never know. If they can't keep full concentration on the match then Napoli have the power to make use of it.
Osimhen's return is a threat to Milan. Of course this has to be true, considering that so far this season Osimhen is one of the most productive strikers in Serie A. Napoli have lost 2 defeats to Milan during Osimhen's absence, so in the second leg Milan will really feel the threat of the striker. .

But after all, Osimhen is not the savior who is always able to make Napoli win. The second leg is so important for both teams, Milan will definitely fight for a ticket to the semi-finals this season regardless of who is the favorite in the second leg. Napoli will obviously be the favourites, but Milan has an advantage that must be maintained.

I think it will be very difficult to predict the result of this match. Milan has been playing well against Napoli recently, they beat them recently in the Italian championship even 4:0 at home, but this is still a different game, the most important game of the season for both teams.

In the first game, Napoli missed an opportunity for a much better result, and now a lot will depend on who will score the first goal.

The Champions league is different from series-A, Ac milan was lucky to beat Napoli in the italian. Napoli will always take the Champions serious and won't accept different from AC Milan.  Milan defeated Napoli in Italian League does not mean Milan is stronger than Milan in performance.

Although Milan beat Napoli by a huge margin in the previous match, I think Napoli won't make those machete mistakes in the second leg and might be able to beat Milan in a big way. Because I think the Napoli team is a team with a different performance.

Looking at their recent performance in the UCL against Napoli, the goal difference was the only thing that separated them. With the upcoming second leg and the advantage of playing on their home turf, they have the potential to reclaim their spot in the Semi-finals with their full squad available. It is my sincere hope that they do not suffer a defeat at this critical stage, they have come too far to lose now.

If they can achieve a clean sheet victory in this tense and heated moment, Napoli will establish their dominance over Milan, and Milan will continue to fear them in future matches, also, my trust in them to book bets will be twice now because I will pass on this match, I don't have confidence to bet this match.

Indeed, with Napoli favored until the final match, the opponent will face more difficult. But before we go any further into the final round, Napoli really need to win at home to ensure their next move. For Milan, indeed this team has been asleep for a long time and with the history they have in the champions league, they are still a strong candidate for the semifinals even though at this time their chances are quite small with the return of the full squad that belongs to Napoli in the second leg later.

Napoli can't just win without worrying about failure. Milan have found a good rhythm in their two meetings against Napoli, even now I am very sure to hope that the Milan derby will be presented in the Champions League semi-finals this season. Napoli excelled in the second leg because they were playing at home, but were not automatically able to beat Milan, who had an aggregate advantage.

In the press conference on 17 April 2023, I thought Pioli was very enthusiastic about going into the second leg with maturity. Milan have tried to create the best moments of the season, but their job is still tough because of Napoli's characteristics as a strong team this season.

PIOLI: "A DELICATE BUT MOTIVATING MATCH"

Quote
"I think it's great to play matches at this level, also because of the atmosphere they generate. It will certainly fire the Napoli players up, but the same will apply to us. There's not much separating the sides after the first leg; we have a very small advantage but need to finish the job by playing at a really high level. We'll need to manage possession well, and the team that do better with their chances will win. Napoli started better than us at San Siro, and this should serve as a lesson for us: a good approach could be key."

Anyone can still qualify from this quarter-final stage, but perhaps what is less interesting is that we will again see two Serie A teams likely to batlle in the semi-finals. Inter is very likely to qualify, so one between Napoli and Milan will meet Inter in the semi-finals.

seeing the performance of milan that has serious problems in the attack, just see that in the last 3 games of milan in all competitions they have not been able to score more than 1 goal and napoli also without their main striker has not scored many goals but has also shown good defense, in my opinion if napoli plays with their main striker from the beginning of the game then napoli can win this game, the central problem without a doubt is if napoli could manage to score 2 goals in this game, because milan does not will play in the attack, they will play to defend the result that already benefits them a lot

I was even very surprised by the results. because I also predict that Benfica is a strong team that can trouble Inter Milan. because even Inter Milan is in an inconsistent condition in Serie A. And it's different from Benfica who continues to show good performance in every match in the Portuguese league. But it seems that Inter Milan's experience in the Champion's league is much better. so Inter Milan's mentality is far above Benfica. but in the second leg I think Benfica could make a surprise.
Last week's match alone, Inter Milan could not win at home. This adds to their bad record in Serie A for the last few matches, but this is completely different when in the UCL, Inter Milan is still quite sure of the mentality they have, even though you can see the statistics are different, but we'll see how it will be a surprise in the second leg whether Inter Milan is able to maintain or if they return to balance.

We can see later that Benfica will play very aggressively to pursue the highest aggregate goal, with goals at this time of course being tough for Benfica, but they still have opportunities at home as motivation for the game in front of their fans.

knowing that benfica in all seasons when it comes to the end of the season they start with bad performances so I see benfica not being able to pass to another phase, and it is absolutely certain that benfica will not be able to score 3 goals without conceding a goal in that game, that is impossible, benfica will not advance in the next phase, inter that even with a mediocre performance managed to be lucky to play against a weak team, but I also doubt very much that in the next phase it will be against napoli or milan inter will not do well, it will be by the way. that's why if milan or napoli go through, they'll be very lucky to play against inter

If in the first leg Milan has a high probability of winning, then in the second leg the probability shows that Napoli is the favourite. I think it's influenced by the return of their best striker, but in any case Milan still has a chance to hold Napoli to a draw at least. Whoever scores the first goal I think they will win, and I think this is one of the plans that Luciano Spalletti is very likely to hope for tomorrow.

The pressure is on for Napoli, they haven't won 2 match in a row at home recently including against Verona yesterday. Even though Osimhen played in that match as substitute, Napoli still failed to win the match which ended 0-0.

Despite a narrow aggregate lead for Milan, that won't keep them safe for 90 minutes and things like a lot of goals can still happen. Therefore if Milan want to get rid of Napoli in the QF round then they have to carry out a total attack without any doubts.

On the other hand, Napoli benefited greatly because as the host and the return of the Napoli duo this season Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia made Napoli even more confident in being able to get rid of Milan by surpassing the number of aggregate points. Maybe I won't see extra time in this game or penalty shootouts because 90 minutes is enough time for Napoli to destroy Milan's hopes.
There are still many opportunities that Napoli can take good advantage of. This thin speed should be able to motivate the Napoli players to launch a full attack in Leg 2. Not only Milan will do this, but Napoli is the most anticipated candidate to reach the final. With the opportunity to play in Leg 2, of course the final result will be difficult to predict because both clubs will do their best. Milan may not have been ideal in the league but this time they want to revive their history after a long absence.
