Bayern Munich trailed 1-0 in the first half but their performance was good enough. They were able to make several great attacks. But in the second half, we only see the dominance of Manchester City players. Bayern Munich looks completely aimless. They are unable to attack or even counter Manchester City's attacks. Manchester City is playing very well. Bernardo Silva and Haaland both have a goal and an assist. But Bayern Munich goalkeeper Sommer is playing quite well today. Manchester City could have scored a few more goals had he not performed well
Haaland added to Bayern Munich's suffering in this match where Manchester City had won 3-0 over Bayern. I don't think the goals will stop and Manchester City will reduce the intensity of their attacks while they have the chance. It is still very possible to expect Manchester City to win 4-0 over Bayern Munich in the first leg, and they will be very comfortable in the second leg later.

Meanwhile, in other matches, Inter have won 0-2 over Benfica. Lukaku scored 1 goal from a penalty kick.

It turns out that there is a goal Cheesy
Score 2-0 now. Will Bayern give up City at the Etihad stadium?

What's this?
Manchester City are very successful now, after the second goal scored in the 70th minute they scored again from Haaland 6 minutes later.
It's 3-0 now and it's pretty absolute and it's definitely the game that belongs to Manchester City now.
Bayern are really losing concentration now it seems and the score is difficult to catch.

I had always believed that Manchester city had a better chance qualifying than Bayern Munich, although I agree it would be a tough match.

It did not go as I thought it would and Manchester city are practically walking all over Bayern Munich, this is becoming a very simple game as the are up now by three goals to no goal from Bayern Munich.

High rythme and the game between Manchester City and Bayern Munich is all about mistakes done by each team. The result is now 1 - 0 for City after 63 minutes of the game and the result could be even higher.
Bayern has a problem between the defence line and the midfield. Their control there is not very organised. Musiala isn't in his best moment.
As I see any of these teams could add another goal at any moment.
I am not opportuned to watch this match because I am on a long distance transit but the result I saw as City is leading by 2 goals is what I expected and nothing less.
I wonder why Mane was played from bench and he is now introduced and I know he cannot change the game by now. Manchester City is not a team you make a come back at easily.
It is better you score them first, but when City scores first. It is a big problem for anyone to come back.
I expect there to be both teams to score before the match ends.

The conditional match will be prestigious and this is really worth watching.
At the moment there is still at least 20 minutes left for the game, it looks like Pep is really careful in this game. KDB had a bit of a problem and he was immediately rested so that his condition would not get worse because indeed if he is injured then it is difficult for Pep to try in the Champions League and EPL of course because both are still quite important for them.
On the other hand now I think with conditions like this it is possible there will be goals again in this second half.

Edit.

I hope few more goals come during the second half from Manchester City, meaning they have to create a safe position so that the chances of qualifying for the semi-finals are really good. The second leg will definitely be more difficult at the Allianz Arena, but because Thomas Tuchel is the coach of Bayern Munich, I think Pep knows how to handle it.
No matter the goal deficit or advantage Man City have before trip to the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich would still find a way to put City on their toes for the entire 90 minutes, but Man City aren’t a slouch either so it’s going to be a game to be decide by the two legs not just by today’s scoreline, I agree with you that we should still get a couple of more in the 2nd 45 minutes, but it depends on conservative or relaxed either team decides to be. As for the Man City goal, that should sure be in contention for UCL goal of the week.
If you are that optimistic about Bayern Munich, then I should be that much about Manchester City.
Indeed the match and the winner will be decided in 90 minutes, but I no longer believe in Bayern Munich only after they sacked Julian Nagelsmann. Tuchel has never been the same as Nagelsmann who so far this season has been able to maintain a winning record in the Champions League, and for me Tuchel is a setback for Bayern Munich.

You can find a lot of difference from Bayern Munich's match today, so I hope you understand why I expect Manchester City to actually achieve their plans for this season. But anyway, now it's 2-0 Manchester City.

As far as the first half, I haven't seen Tuchel plan really well against Manchester City. Even I can say Pep Guardiola's game plan and strategy are really effective both when they attack or defend. Of course this game is very interesting because both teams play with high intensity, but the statistics say Manchester City is ahead when attacking.

Now the first half has ended for Manchester City's 1-0 win over Bayern Munich. Rodri's goal was good, a curling left footed shot which has been rare lately.
City leads 1—0 in the Etihad stadium, a stunning screamer shot from Rodri puts the home team infront. It's a top game with more incredible performance from the players, they're all cautious not to make a silly mistake on the pitch, because the both sides are proactive to net a goal. Bernardo Silva dominate the midfield with crucial passes into his opponents box. Bayern Munich are just getting used to city and are dominating the game but zero shots on target. We shouldn't assumed the winner yet, because more actions will come in the second half.

There is no doubt that Manchester City put in an excellent performance in the first half. However, Manchester City had several easy opportunities. They were not lucky. Otherwise, we would have seen more goals in the first half. On the other hand, there is no way to say that Bayern Munich's performance was poor. The Bayern Munich team is playing very well. They also had some good attacks. However, Bayern Munich is a bit weak on the counterattack. If you want to win against an opponent like Manchester United, you need a sharper counterattack. It is very difficult to score against City without a counterattack. Because City's defense is very strong. And even today they are performing brilliantly.

Right and Manchester City could have already extended their league. If everything went wrong during the first half Bayern could be down by three goals. The pass back to Sommer when Haaland jumped in and almost scored a goal was close to suicide by Bayern. I don't get it why you play such a ball in such an important game? Why not go for the safe options and rather kick the ball out with power?

Bayern is going a good job so far keeping Haaland down, but the problem with him is that often times he only needs that one moment and then he scores even though you don't see much of him during the game. He is never sleeping and permanently keeps the defense busy. When he doesn't do it due to chances, he does it because of being present. That's enough to raise the pressure.

It is a deserved result thus far for Manchester City. It is also a good game from two teams that are introduced very well by their coaches. Chances are coming in for Bayern.

A well deserved result indeed for Manchester city. They among other clubs has shown resilience and has proven to be the underdogs so far.
I wouldn't be surprised if Manchester city wins at the end of 90mins because they have encountered this Bayern Munich side more than once even as at the time Aguero was still a striker for them. Even if they don't win the league, they have proven to be a better side that even the governing bodies of these leagues would find it hard to penelize them for misconduct.

Bayern Munich doesn't have the depth of the squad they had last year. He's having trouble with it. He doesn't have an effective striker of Lewandowski quality. Their pairings with City were bad for Bayern. The city is leading 1-0 with Rodri's goal in the current match. I expect at least 1 more goal from City in the second half. Bayern Munich may beat City in the second match, but I'm not sure if they can pass the round.
Manchester City is already in an early lead about 50 minutes into the match and bayern munich have no chance of equalization and the pressure to add a goal from the Manchester City squad is really in intense level at the moment but with the strong defence from Bayern Munich players in the 18 line it seems difficult for the Manchester City squad to penetrate one more.

But as we know football to be a game with an unpredictability we may see turnout of events that may change our line of thought entirely but with a higher percentage of gamblers being in line and favour of Manchester City winning.

Manchester city is proving it again in this season by leading Bayern Munich 1:0, and they are still in a good position to score more goals before the end of the first half . I know Bayern Munich don't have squads that can hold Manchester city not to showcase tactics, because their players are all doing well in their position that is giving their fans solid confident. Erling Haaland will not miss his opportunity in this game because he know how to hustle for goals to ensure he improve his goals is season.

Proving what again? They don’t hold any special record in the champions league, its just a normal game that they are simply a goal ahead of their opponent. In the game of tactics between Tuchel and guardiola, guardiola simply came out on top today which is why beyern munich are struggling, they are being man marked and they find it difficult to locate themselves upfront. Manchester city is in control of the game they are the better side in the first half and still creating more chances in the second half. I don’t think they have gone away with the win and I believe Tuchel will be prepared for them in the second leg. What an interesting match this is.

The Bayern - City duel has lived up to the billing as we go into the final minutes of the first half
Both teams have come in with intensity and have also been so controlled defensively. Bayern were somewhat unlucky to be undone by a rather brilliant strike from Rodri.
I expect changes in the second half as Bayern have players on the bench who can change the direction of the game.

Both managers are under a lot of pressure to deliver at this stage. Pep has had lots of chances and Tuchel after going out of the German cup need to make it past the quarter final of the UCL.
Manchester City played more defensively than Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola did not use a total attacking strategy and the goal was scored through a shot outside the penalty box by Rodri. Leon Goretzka hasn't shown his best quality in controlling the midfield and it's still quite difficult to keep up with the game, so the ball flows more from the left and right flanks when carrying out attacks.

Tuchel still has a few players on the bench and I think he should make the most of the midfield, so that Bayern Munich's attack is more concentrated and able to reach open spaces for the attackers. Let's see how Tuchel tries to make changes in midfield and attack.

Manchester City have just scored a goal and they are in the lead by 1-0 now. But I must admit that it was an amazing shot by Rodri to the upper corner. Sommer was really desperate about saving that rocket. Manchester City were deserving to get ahead first as well of course. They have had many chances and I remember one time Haaland wasted a big chance by a weak shot. But hopefully Haaland will also improve his performance during the game. They really need his contribution as well.

It will be more difficult for Bayern Munich now. They will need to take bigger risks to find the equalizer. If Manchester City find the second goal then this will be a huge advantage for qualifying for the next stage.
There seems to be no mistake about why Manchester City are favorites in this first leg, their form was good and it was very interesting. In the first half alone, Manchester City had a good chance to score 2-3 goals, but Yann Sommer was still able to save it. After that, I agree Rodri's goal was very good and probably one of the most beautiful goals in the quarter-finals this season.

The first half ended quite well and the advantage was won by Manchester City. For this temporary position, Thomas Tuhcel needs to improve the performance of the attack line which looks a little confused in executing it. Statistically, so far there has been no shot on target launched by Bayern Munich.
Of course, we are expecting some fruit to occur in the second half so that the intensity of the game is more balanced because in the first half, Manchester City really enjoyed their game.

On the other hand, Benfica and Inter are still looking for their own gaps, and in the second half should be more concerned to be able to break the deadlock. The target to win in Leg 1 is very important so that you can have the capital for Leg 2. So far, the performance of the two can be said to be balanced, even more so it looks monotonous for us to watch.

The game is still very far away and there is still a big chance for Bayern Munich to level the score, and in the second half Thomas Tuchel had to make changes, especially in defense. The reason is, Manchester City is very easy to penetrate Bayern Munich's defense, especially on both wings.

Manchester City has a good defense and is also tight which makes it difficult for Bayern Munich to break through. And Mamchester City's first goal scorer, Rodri's 1 goal from his left kick made it difficult for Yann Sommer to ward off the ball in the top right corner and it was a cool shot.

What kind of changes do you expect at this tage of the game? I don't really know what Tuchel should change now. In my opinion Thomas Muller wouldn't be the right solution just yet. I think Tuchel will leave it as it is for now and wait until the 65th minute or something. Muller lacks a bit of speed and I believe in this game speed is important. There aren't too many balls bouncing around where Muller could benefit with his instinct. Musiala needs to step up his game. His dribblings are okay but he needs to finish more consequently. When he had the chance in the box he just focused on shooting, he didn't really use his brain in that moment. It was a big one.

In the first 40 minutes it is a nice game, a lot of powerplay and the 1:0 was a beautiful goal. Bayern maybe win the championship in Germany, but they were knocked out of the German Cup. If they are knocked out in the Champions League, there year will not be a good one. I think today it could be a 2/3:0, City is close to scoring the 2th goal. It's fun to watch the game, Benfica vs Inter is not interesting for me.
Yes it was a great first half and full of chances, the goal of Rodri was spectacular from a far hard shot which brought the advance for Manchester City and more domination and confidence for the rest of this first half, in the other hand Bayern Munich also had couple chances to draw the score but couldn’t make it and i see that their coach Thomas Tuchel is playing with counter attacks on every chance they bring back and also focusing on attacking as their defense weapon which tells us that the Bavarians came today to win the match.
As you said Bayern Munich already lost a lot this season and wouldn’t risk to lose early on Champions League as well, they will play their best on second half which is going to make it better than the first 45 minutes is we going to see a more open game on the side of Bayern and more chances for City to score the second goal to kill Bayern chances.
