Yes it was a great first half and full of chances, the goal of Rodri was spectacular from a far hard shot which brought the advance for Manchester City and more domination and confidence for the rest of this first half, in the other hand Bayern Munich also had couple chances to draw the score but couldn’t make it and i see that their coach Thomas Tuchel is playing with counter attacks on every chance they bring back and also focusing on attacking as their defense weapon which tells us that the Bavarians came today to win the match.
As you said Bayern Munich already lost a lot this season and wouldn’t risk to lose early on Champions League as well, they will play their best on second half which is going to make it better than the first 45 minutes is we going to see a more open game on the side of Bayern and more chances for City to score the second goal to kill Bayern chances.

I hope to see some tactical changes from Thomas Tuchel's side in the second half. An equalizing goal in the second half would be a morale boost for the away side.

Apart from Rodri's wonderful goal which is what has given Manchester City the advantage, Manchester City have been pressed the first half with Bayern having more possession in the game than Manchester city, that is not what you see everyday when Manchester City play. Manchester City usually have a better second half than first, do if they have been able to survive the first half with their goal, they can most likely win. That is still not what I want, I hope Bayern can make things more difficult for them in the second half, I want Bayern to win.

The match is even exceeding my expectation. Bayern Munich is also doing a great job the goal notwithstanding. It is possible they might get a draw from this game if Manchester City keeps wasting their opportunity. City should know that they need to score as much goals as possible because the return leg in Munich will not be easy. Rodri's goal has brought life and excitement to Etihad Stadium.
In Estádio da Luzi Portugal it's still a goalless draw between Benfica and Inter. Inter will be pleased if the game ends this way. The home team just had one shot on target while Inter has none. The game is not as ambitious as the game between City and Bayern.

The second half will come with a lot of technical calculations and adjustments. Both coaches will have to evaluate the game and come up with new strategies. I think Bayern Munich might step up their attacks to at least get a goal in this game.
