The fact is this Real Madrid is far better than Chelsea either before or currently. I hope that you know the challenges and critical condition that Chelsea is facing before sacking Potter. I don't think that Lampard can come from nowhere after he was sacked due to his poor performance by the club to come and win Real Madrid and not any other club.

Chelsea couldn't win Liverpool, and they can win Real Madrid. Spare me all those dreams because football is all about the best will always win the match. Assuming both clubs are in good form,then I can consider that Chelsea might be lucky on that day to win the match. Chelsea fans wouldn't dare bet on a win either at home or away.

As a Chelsea fan I would love the club to not just win the quarter final tie with against Real Madrid but to win the UEFA Champions League trophy this season as a way of coming out from supposed poor campaign with a big trophy but wishes are totally different from realities and realistically speaking, Real Madrid stands a better chance to qualify to the semi-finals than Chelsea. Madrid played against Barcelona yesterday in the Copa Del Rey competition and delivered a performance that can only come from the European Champions.
Chelsea might have appointed and interim manager in the person of Frank Lampard but I don't think he possess the the tactical ability to beat Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid.

I think the first point you made is a good one! Now that it doesn't look like they will make it into the Champions League, nobody can expect them to sign the best of the best as a coach as they won't be coach for a year without any European competitions whatsoever. From that perspective it was the right choice and actually, if for some weird reason they make it into the final this year and in the unlikely case that they win it, they immediately have a coach who is then familiar with going the whole distance (or at least the hard part of it). I think it is true and the players will respect him more than Graham Potter. Graham Potter I think neither has something to show as a player nor does he really as a coach. Lampard was a damn good player and he has some experience as well as a coach. On top of that he won't be asking a Guardiola-like salary.

I can't deny the optimism of Real Madrid supporters about his chances in the Champions League this season. Chelsea is undervalued and perhaps underestimated because of the team's mentality and recent form, but I don't agree with that opinion either.

I think the chances of FC Chelsea to beat Real Madrid and to advance into the semi final of the Champions League are significantly higher than most people think. First off all Chelsea still has a good squad and even though they have a pretty bad run in the premier league at the moment, the champions league simply is a totally different competition and every player will go all out in such matches.
Secondly i think that Real Madrid is not really that strong. For me clubs like Manchester City or Bayern Munich are way stronger than Real at the moment. So it is not like Chelsea is facing an unbeatable opponent here. Of course Real also was not the favorite to win it last year, so that does not necessarily mean that much.

Madrid and Chelsea have a good record in UCL matches. It's hard to predict if they face each other in the UCL. These two clubs have no influence on the position of the league standings when playing in the UCL. In 2021 chelsea won the UCL title, english league placing 4th position.
But this season Madrid will do everything to get the UCL title. And this is Luka Modric's struggle. Reportedly Modric will end up in Madrid. Modric has an effect on age, so Ancelotti prepared Camaviga.

In football it doesn't always go how we expect and predict it to go but I will give Thomas Tuchel some level of trust to fare well against Pep Guardiola's men in the semi finals, Bayern Munich are a dangerous side as well but Ciry has been wanting the UCL title for so long. Milan and Napoli are also going to face each other and I will be favouring Napoli to advance to the next stage to tell the truth. There is a significant level of difference between these teams normally now. I know about their lsat head-to-head match which was in the Serie A and Milan demolished them by 4-0 away. However we shouldn't forget about another fact that Napoli were already very comfortable in the league. This loss didn't affect their championship chance badly anyway.

I will be expecting to watch a completely different Napoli in the Champions League. I don't feel like Milan can resist them even in San Siro. But even if they get a draw there Napoli would still seal the deal home. Osimhen is expected to return on mid April by the way so he might be ready to play in the second leg I guess.
