Chelsea FC - Borussia Dortmund

chelsea is playing at home and I believe that chelsea's coach will use the same formation as in his last game, chelsea has many injured players such as: N'Golo Kante , Armando Broja , Edouard Mendy, Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva, and In addition to these problems, there is also the problem of the coach insisting on playing with Kai Havertz, honestly I cannot understand why this Chelsea coach prefers Kai Havertz and leaves Aubameyang on the bench, he ended up not registering Aubameyang in the Champions League , with this coach chelsea won't get far at all, and I wouldn't be surprised if chelsea lose in this game

benfica comes to this game very motivated, they won their last game in the Portuguese league and they don't have important players with injuries, but on the other side their opponent Club Brugge comes to this game with a defeat in the local league in which they suffered 3 goals, and they're going to play at Benfica's house so I see Benfica winning in this game, for that reason I put Benfica in my parlay

looking at chelsea, i think this odd for chelsea is a big exaggeration, dortmund is not a weak team, and they have a good chance of beating chelsea who are a directionless team even with good players in the team, i predict it will be a game with few goals on the part of chelsea and on the side of dortmund the same thing

Winning is not assured for Chelsea even though they won their last game in the premier league. Chelsea's performance has been unpredictable all season, so it is difficult to assess them from the performance in their last game. The home advantage may be to their benefit but if their coach gets the team selection and tactics still wrong, then the home advantage will count for Nothing. It is a very important game for Chelsea so I am sure they will want to play their very best to ensure that they still remain in this competition.

There are two matches today. The first one will be benfica-club brugge. Benfica won the first match 2-0. Since they will take the field with the comfort of this, they will be the side that will skip the round. Since I don't think they will be defeated in this match, the round seems easy for them.
Chelsea-Dortmund match is more important than the other match. The first match dortmund won 1-0 at home but chelsea didn't play badly. This time chelsea will host dortmund at home. I think Chelsea will win, but I don't know if it will be enough to advance.

There is possiblity of Chelsea winning the match of course to qualify they have to score  atleast two goals against Dormund today, however lack of competent center forward or a striker had been Chelsea major problem this season, Raheem Sterling was there highest goal scorer this season has been inconsistent in front of goal, Abumeyang wasn't registered for UCL, Kai Havertz had been shadow of former self, Mudryk hasn't justify his huge sign on fee since arrival to Stanford bridge, Dormund is on a winning streak and in-form having won 11 consecutive matches in all competitions which mean Chelsea is facing a difficult challenge tonight.

Now situation is very interesting with Liverpool thrash Manchester Untied and fans are now feeling things can change in this match as well, and I am also feeling this can happen, but now we will have this match will be ended in draw or win for the Liverpool, but score could be like 1 - 0 or 2 - 0 which will be enough for the Real Madrid to go through into next round because their winning margin in first leg was big and surely guaranteed for their spot into last eight.

Even we all know Champions League is game of predictable results and surprises but still things are in Real Madrid favor because they have already done enough for their qualification in first leg match their performance is also not good at home with they are facing some injuries issues and also having problems with their attackers which are not efficient like in last season which is giving them poor results in La Liga and Copa del Roy matches.

If it was when Chelsea was scoring, it wouldn't be a serious issue for Chelsea to get 2 goals. At a time it became worse for Chelsea to the extent that no striker was scoring anymore. It was even James from defence that was getting occasional goals for Chelsea. This is why I am not always pleased when Graham Potter is seen as the total and ultimate cause of Chelsea woes.
Chelsea cannot be ruled out, but my bet is for Dortmund because of their current great form.

Judging Chelsea base on their recent performances nobody will actually stake on Chelsea winning against Dortmund but if I should judge Chelsea base on their statistics toward their last meeting with Dortmund, I may say Chelsea can win the match because they played well with a lot good attacks.i may even say Dortmund won by lucky, so i am expecting some thing good from the Chelsea today by use their home advantage.but let just see how the game will be and see who to qualify to next round.

Anyway, Dortmund in a good trend after the world cup finished they recorded wins streak, it can be predicted that they are actually must be favorites in this match, meanwhile Chelsea in the EPL is really in an inconsistent trend. But this match will be held at Chelsea home and previously although lost they dominated that match vs Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park, also now Dortmund have lost an important player which previously could score because injury, so I think Chelsea have a better chance at the moment if compared with Dortmund although the situation is same because there are also injured players in Chelsea.

We are very well aware that this battle is not easy for the home team, there are many doubts about what Graham Potter's team is displaying. Chelsea's performance is so very bad, even though it has been strengthened by several newcomers. what makes me doubt is Chelsea's front line, they don't have a sharp striker who is able to find the net.

As for Kai Havertz, I don't know why Potter still makes him the main start even though he doesn't contribute anything in terms of scoring. but, if we refer to the predicted line up that Potter applied in this match. it seems, Potter will try again his luck with the 3-4-3 formation pattern. Felix, Kai, Mudryk, are paired up front. maybe, with this pattern Chelsea can optimize the game.

To be honest, I have a feeling that this match will be won by Chelsea. However, I'm not sure about the final score. because, I have another assessment of Dortmund in this match. but anyway, I hope this match will present a fierce battle from the two teams. especially Chelsea, they have to give their best version of the game even though it looks like they will have difficulty toppling Dortmund.

Benfica certainly will be qualified to quarter final and it because impossible for Club Brugge to win with 3 goals margin at Benfica home ground so this match will belongs to Benfica and about squad conditions Benfica probably will lost Alexander Bah because of injured but it won't be a big deal for Benfica because other player such as Gilberto can be replace his position on the squad and if talking about betting purposes Benfica win seems good picked for this match although the odds for this option was quite low @1.36 but i think this is safe bets

Real Madrid's mentality and performance in the Champions League will not even be affected by the results of their matches in La Liga or the Copa Del Rey. Real Madrid has been unsatisfactory in its last few matches, be it in La Liga or the Copa, but I certainly agree that Real Madrid is the most promising team in the Champions League. I'm not worried about Liverpool's comeback plans, it just won't happen with Real Madrid.

Today one of the English teams will be highly favored to win the match. Of course it's Chelsea, I think they will win against Dortmund today without any problems. Even though Chelsea lost the first leg, based on their analysis, they have a higher probability of winning at home than Dortmund.

And it was reported that Dortmund coach Edin Terzic also had difficulty compiling formations with the absence of 7 core players, Ryerson was suspended from playing. Meanwhile, Duranville, Adeyemi, Moukoko, Kamara, Malen and Morey had to be spectators due to injuries.

Because usually, bookies have something we don't know about, even if we or I as lay people at least still predict that Dortmund will not lose in this match. So yes, if I go ahead to bet on Dortmund then I will get high odds on this match.

Nobody is expecting Chelsea to win the match against Burussia Dortmund because they even struggled to win their last match against a team that is struggling to escape relegation. Leeds United would have gotten atleast a draw because the game was highly competitive. Chelsea's opponent in today's match have not lost a match in eleven games and they are second in the Bundesliga. In fact the last time they lost a game is in November last year. Chelsea's fans have endured a very tormenting season and it will be a great relief if they get a win today in Stanford Bridge. Maybe Graham "Harry" Potter might perform those miracles he did when he was first appointed as Chelsea's coach.

The odd for Dortmund is good as they have less star players and will have to play at Stamford Bridge. They also are a smaller name than Chelsea in Champions League but if we exclude those traditional things, Dortmund have better form than Chelsea.

Since a return of European football after World Cup 2022, Dortmund have excellent form that is contrasting to Chelsea. Chelsea only found a light at the end of tunnel with a win over Leeds United days ago in Premier League. However I think it is not enough to change their general sentiment and form so they will hardly to beat Dortmund at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea scored only 2 goals in their last few matches and it's impossible for them to beat Dortmund more than 2 goals.

I don't bet but if I bet, my choice would be Dortmund. They are enough ability to beat Chelsea and move on to quarter final round.

For this game I see higher chance that Dortmund advances then Chelsea. I have it 60% Dortmund 40% Chelsea. Chelsea is not having a good season and knowing the result from first leg I'm sure Dortmund will capitalize from counters and score.

Chelsea are still a big club In Europe no matter their current predicaments and they are bigger than Dortmund. The recent matches Dortmund has played I found out that they tend to sit back when they have gotten a goal. Against Hoffenheim and Leipzig they were lucky not to concede a last minute goal. Against Chelsea they shouldn’t sit back but look for a seat to get the first goal of the game and then try to counter. Because once they score first Chelsea will be exposed. But if Chelsea gets the first goal and think it will be a hard game for Dortmund

Against Dortmund, Cheslea will play without Thiago Silva who has a knee injury. Several other players Azpilicueta, Kante, Mendy is likely to miss this match because their condition is still doubtful to play. There is no official line up that I can find for Chelsea yet. For predictions, it is possible that Dortmund can maintain their win. Considering that Chelsea lost an important on defense (Silva), there is an opportunity for Dortmund to score additional goals in this match.
