Before the game tonight i had taken my word back as regards Real Madrid picking Liverpool apart, i did so because i thought Liverpool coming into this game on the back of two victories against Everton and Newcastle would give them the well needed confidence to go out there tonight and give their fans something to cheer about, and to be fair to them, they did, but it only lasted for 20 minutes, before it absolutely turned into a Real Madrid show.
Having said that, quite a lot of things are going wrong for Liverpool, i just read that this is the first time they are conceding 5 goals in a European comperition in Anfield. The bad thing about this loss is its demoralizing effect, just after the team started to find their spirit again, and i am pretty sure this defeat would affect them in the EPL. As far as the second leg goes, this is already a done deal imo, Real Madrid are just too experienced to throw away a three goal lead when they are playing at home, thus it should be goodbye Liverpool.
Yeah i really felt for jorgen kloop and his boys tonight. Liverpool are in really big shit and they have been struggling to come out of this devastating form but the more they try the harder it keeps getting and the worst part of tonights game is that they actually lead by two goals to nothing but all of sudden they let Real Madrid back in the game although it was one of the best games i watched so far in this years champions league but still feel sad for jorgen kloop. scoreline after loosing to same psg 4-1 in the first leg of play, which amounted to a 6-2 Victory in aggregate in favor of the Spanish giants. With the current situation at Liverpool its very unlikely to see them removing Madrid in the competition.
